I don't know who to vote for, but I don't think we should have a no-lynch on day 1, so I'll change my vote to the next person, (either TC or RD,) who responds in this thread. This will statistically lead to the lynch of a townie and will give the mafiates two free kills. TC or RD may be mafiate, or may be not. I will maintain my vote on NH, because he was the first one to jump on Menhad after his null vote. This probably means he wants those free kills before the cop gets the chance to begin his investigation.

They are aimed at drawing out conversation before day's end. No lynch votes are bad because they threaten to cut off the dicussion and limit our ability to learn. 2) First day lynches are not, in fact, based on random probability, but just like all votes in this game, they are modified by the conversation that has been drawn out. So the lynches are not pure random events. These. Also, Paradise, it is the point of the game that we don't have any solid evidence. If we did, the town's job would be easy. EDIT: Menhad has, wisely, decided to lurk a bit, and he is appearing less scummy. TC and RD are locked in a struggle. One of them is likely scum, and I think it's TC. No point in delaying the inevitable, and I want to see the outcome too. I'm encouraging all of you to vote Huesca next round. Huesca is 100% mafia. Mafia. On the other, you could really believe that Huesca is mafia; and believe the way that will be reached fastest is through your death. Townie. On your genetically mutated third hand, you could be playing with us as a townie, hoping to live by playing like you want to die. Or maybe you think Huesca is mafia, along with you, and think that by saying to hang him, and then getting hung yourself, your actually protecting him. Maybe my 8:00am philosophy class tomorrow will help sort this madness out.

Shot in the back of head was RD, facedown in the sand. Water lapped at his head. RD was a TOWNIE. However, that was not the only kill committed during the night. Another life was lost, ambushed in the midst of the forest, poisoned by a venomous snake of the jungle surrounding the hotel. Huesca, poisoned by the snake, died a slow and painful death. Huesca was the DON. It is now DAY TWO. The day will end on January 24, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. CDT.

I didn't bandwagon, hopefully you other townies just see I suck at this game, but don't convict me for that. The other main posters have been taken out in RD and Huesca... I was off on TC and right on Huesca. RD I was hoping someone else would confront, because I honestly had no idea. After re-reading this whole thing, I've got two suspects that seem particularly scummy. Problem is, a lot of others seem scummy just from the lack of posts... I don't know how, but Huesca is down. He was the mafia don. The don, at the cost of 2 townies. 1st round, too. I know I'm in a bad position because I was 'protecting' Huesca. The main debate was between RD and TC. I had thought for sure that one or the other was mafia. However, the small chance they weren't mafia happened to be true. Now I was NOT protecting Huesca as TC had claimed. I thought Huesca was a townie as well, and TC was just randomly accussing him. Just the same as he had accussed the others multiple times over. I'm not placing any vote yet until I have more time to read through because the only people that really said anything was RD, TC, Huesca, and I. Flumes has voted me already, and while some reasons are obvious, I'd like to know why you chose to vote me. The obvious reasons I can think of right now is 1, being the only survivor of the engagement yesterday, 2, "supporting" Huesca who was the don. We need to think this through so we can catch the other 2 or 3 mafia. I'm not making any suggestions as yet though.
