So they're announcing a very comfortable -32°C here in Quebec City for tomorrow morning. Fortunately, there should be almost no wind. It's so cold outside that it's currently 17°C in my apartment even if I'm heating at maximum capacity. So basically, I'm heating only to compensate the loss of heat. I'm currently wearing 3 shirts, 2 socks for each foot + slippers, and I also use a blanket. It's crazy, and they say we will have this Siberian temperature until Monday! For the Americans who are still using the (obsolete) Fahrenheit system, -32°C equals -25.6°F. |

Damn, that is cold. I like the cold but not THAT cold. It is a comfortable 7 F in rural New York. |

Currently, it is a delightful -3 f in Ann Arbor, with a forecast of -10. We had a high of 6 today (woow woow!). I am toasty in my lower level apartment, however. The people above me keep their heat up high, but I am sure I will be looking at a bill for this month in excess of $200.00!! |

I'm just kinda assuming it's going to be between -20 and -30 in Vermont. It's like -10 at my college though. |

Is this gonna be another one of those winters where they ask for volunteers to bring water to the cows?? I've heard how bad it can get there in Verrrrrrr-mont. |

Wow, compared to you guys, 11F (or -12C) sounds pretty warm here in NYC. Still, I'd prefer not to see the mercury drop below 20C, so I'm thoroughly dressed in layers in my own home to compensate for my parent's lack of money for heating oil. |

20 F in Oklahoma, 10 F with windchill. Childsplay... though I'd say the same of any temperature above -20 F, with or without windchill. The wind makes all the difference. |

See, this is the reason I wouldn't be able to live down south. It's 50 F in the middle of winter, absurd! |

I take 20 inches of snow to a 70 degree January day any time. There's a reason there are 4 seasons - to make people hot and cold, not hot and hotter! |
