Wikipedia says: wikipedia A Dance with Dragons is the fifth of seven planned novels in the epic fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire by American author George R. R. Martin. No release date has been set since the book remains incomplete as of December 2008, although Martin's UK publishers have a provisional date of April 2009. This date remains speculative until the book is officially announced as being complete.
