RD and Q have given me land. That said, my claims on the Island off the coast of Canada and New England region remain. |

And in my case, CE never requested southern France. It was just given to him. Since he didn't request it, I'm hoping I can get it. In any case, I sent him a PM, but he never responded. |

Wow, that took a bit to read. Now, several people have mentioned that nations should be scaled to the population. This is, in my opinion, not a great thing to do. NS2 and what goes on here have to be seperated to some degree. I have a current population of about 3 million. Here, I have England as my main territory. England does NOT have a populationas low as 3 million. Today, its estimated at about 51 million, and back in 1900 3 mil is not high enough. England also has colonies. So, not only was England's population enough to sustain and overburden their homeland, they had enough to maintain a grip on colonies around the world. This is not counting the natives they made citizens and were loyal enough to have been native-born to England. The NS2 population and population here is not for fusing together. If England had a population of 3 mil, they'd never have any colonies, and they'd probably take up much less space than Wales does. |

 England doesn't have a population of three billion either, yet we've always accepted that as reasonable. |

There's no country of England here. The closest I just saw was Engelsland and they have 6 billion, more than what you said. NS1 isn't as tied to NSWR as we're trying to make NS2 to this. |

Wow... you just missed the point completely. The point is that in our RPs, we use the game's populations; it has no relevance that it doesn't match the real life land's populations. We have always used the NS populations; you don't get to adjust them based on your land. If it bothers you, you can always give up land, but no one will force you to do that either. There is no population density issue. Your forum population = your NS2 population, period. Anyone who even brings this up will be vivisected. |

Ok, what can I do to get my population up? I mean seriously; I need some advice/know-how here. My population is currenly somewhere between 3 and 4 million, after rising steadily since the open beta started. What kinds of issues can I answer to get my population higher? The reason is, Al Qalaa and I have in the past discussed a rivalry in the Middle East and some conflicts... how would I do that if I'm less than 20 times his size... you know? Also, did we say yes or no to steampunk. |

Basically I've disassembled any border I may have once had, plus a little luck in getting the immigration issues frequently. |

I got the high population the same way I got a high economy. I invested in as much industry as possible. That generated jobs, which brought the immigrants flowing in. I would say no to steampunk, but the vote for that never came up. I would say we should probably not do steampunk, because some people have said they would not play it were that the case. As far as population goes, looks like most agree with me. Your NS2 population is your population. However, I think some people were confused when I talked about population density. I was only talking of how certain terrains are less desirable because of their harsh environment and thus usually have less dense populations, thus more would be claimed to properly support their population (as is the case of Russia and Canada). This would not change the population at all, just how it is distributed. |

Actually, I'll put this plot on hold until I get Salenitia on the map, which may be a long time off. No point in a war if you don't have the enemy to fight. I have a new RP I want to try anyway. Lemme make the thread. |

I was just planning on giving him Switzerland, and that little sliver north of it on my map, so he has a coastline. |
