I'll ask the dead who have experience:

How are we actually supposed to figure ppl out besides by their votes? Is there anything to help us?
Discussion, and the cop.

There are plenty of ways to figure things out. I've seen lots of clues missed by everyone regarding everybody - now that I'm dead, of course.

Well, if the Townies used a Ouija board, they could try to contact NH through it ;)

Well... Mafia try to kill innocents.

If an innocent person has a lot of votes, Mafia players usually vote for that person to increase their chances.

This can be picked out from normal voting (usually) if they wait until the last minute before voting, or if they change their vote a lot based on which way the wind is blowing.

The Mafia players know who each other are, and can converse in secret. They won't want to kill their own, but that doesn't mean they won't vote for their own to get rid of suspicion. And while this isn't very helpful, sometimes they'll agree with each other (meaning more votes against one innocent person) and sometimes they'll disagree (meaning less suspicion against them).

Also... I just realised I could be dead... half a mo...

0_0...

Can we really do that? That would be awe-some! And make this game over much more quickly, probably. >>

Nope. If you're lynched, the guy commits suicide. If you're night-killed, there's a day of mourning.

The town is in dire straits, here. Had there been three live mafiates, the game would be over now, as it would be mathematically impossible for the town to win. That said, they need their two remaining lynches to go flawlessly. If they get another townie, it's game over.

Six people left, probably two mafiates and four townies

Townies can't lynch anyone today and one of them will be killed the next night.

That makes two mafiates and three townies tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a determining day, as if the townies do not succeed in lynching a mafiate, they are definitely dead.

That theory about non-random picking is starting to seem more sound.

It isn't random.

My dying just proves it.

Python didn't randomly pick me, out of 13 men, to be the princess. It doesn't happen. Raf probably just said that to make sure the guys didn't get ideas and so I didn't get killed earlier. Not that it matters now.

Al, the chance of you being the princess was one in thireteen. Them's pretty good odds. This is a script I've used for about a dozen mafia games thus far.

I'll admit I did change one role; Telosan originally rolled the Vigilante, and I re-rolled it because I didn't want to give someone that inexperienced an auto-kill.

Aww. Now that's not fair! I'm not inexperienced in Mafia. I played it every year at my camp. We have a massive game. At the beginning of the week we have 50 people chosen out of 200 kids at the camp to be mafia. Every night they sneak out and meet somewhere and choose to kill 30 people. During the day we lynch 20 people. The roles are doubled, two of everything. I was the Vigilante once and killed the other vigilante. There's also a mafia version of every townie role, and a townie version of every mafia role. Makes it really fun.

Now this is for those still living, mostly Lebo.

Well I have the unfortunate duty to relate saddening information to you, my fellow citizens, today. So I was preparing to investigate Nag or Draxis, since they've been pointed to as suspicious characters. However, as I reviewed this thread one final time, I was stricken by a peculiar realization: RD has led all discussion for the majority of the game. Even when not leading, he contributed his opinion and managed to guide the results.

So I investigated RD instead, and he was GUILTY. RD APPEARS GUILTY according to my investigation.

Lebo you can't lynch anyone today. You do realize you are SO dead? Now I'm shocked you survived the last night. More shocked that RD is mafia.

If you guys had just killed TC yesterday, this wouldn't be an issue, as you'd know whether to trust Leb or not.

Yeah... my bad. I'd be lying if I said I didn't think this would be a possibility, but I assumed the mafia would think I was throwing up a double blind (and that the doctor could protect themselves).

Is it cheating to ask who you did opt to protect? My gut says it probably is.

Well, doctor's gone. That's not good.

With Draxis gone, that doesn't make your lives easier, but it gives you one less person to accuse wrongly. The other main role left is the cop.

Leb and RD claim these positions. So one or the other is definatly mafia. All you have to do is compare the information both have 'exposed', figure out which has been right so far, and eliminate the other one.

Easy. Oh, and welcome to the growing legion of the undead, Draxis.

May I just say that Leb "investigated" me alright...

Not saying anything... just that he is apparently good at "investigating" and when he "investigates" its final.

...

Thanks Nag. Just point out stuff. "Hey mafia if you kill Nag we will know who you are, BUT if you kill Draxis we won't have a clue who you are. I await your decision." *Gunshots heard in distance as Nag ponders what they will do*
