I was hoping to avoid double-inviting him so that we don't waste our invites :lol: If I'd seen your post, I wouldn't have sent mine. Ah well, with more people we keep getting more invites, so we should always have enough for the members of this forum at least. As for the expedition, I might suggest Cheyenne, Wyoming, which has only16 residents (not too many Wyoming people playing this?), so we could probably take it gain its mayor position without too much trouble. Alternatively, it would be cool if we could find a sparsely populated country which we could easily influence. On the other hand, sparsely populated countries might be easy targets for countries like Turkey or the God-Emperor of Pakistan. |

I was thinking the same thing, that a smaller country can be manipulated, but what's to stop invasion? I'm fine with Cheyenne, if nobody posts any better ideas I think we should give it a go. I'll purchase a ticket and move this time tomorrow. And thanks for the gift, I brought the best one I could buy to return the favor :) |

Yeah, Russia was annexed by Norway :o I think it assigns you to wherever you live. for example, I'm in Jefferson City because I'm currently resident in Missouri. Because everyone knows Bulgarians pwn the Thai. I can't think of anyone to invite. It's not as cool as I'd thought it'd be... BUT Northern Ireland is still in Britain's grasps... so that gives something to occupy my time. *forms IRA and Sinn Fein* ^^ EDIT: Wow. Well taking over a country will profit more long term :lol: . In all seriousness moving to a sparsely populated country is a good idea in many ways, since according to the ERepublik Insider the position of Mayor will be removed when the game goes live between October 1-15. So in short, we shouldn't try for mayor, but instead try for Congress or try our luck in another coutnry. |

Personally I'm all game for trying another country. I really would like to see us ban together and pawn a national government. That being said I really REALLY wish there was some way in getting Russia out of Norway's hands. If it weren't for those damned Communists..... Actually, I've got a question for you all: do you know if you need to be a resident of another country in order to work there? Although I currently have a job, the US economy is lagging in the game, and an entry level position in Romania or Spain would pay roughly twice what I make now. With this in mind I've applied to a number of Romanian and Spanish housing and hospital companies, in hopes I'll catch on over there. My thinking is that while we build funds for our own company, I can earn even more cash faster working in these countries rather then in the US. Thoughts? |
