A better Zarathustra has never rode a horse Posts: 4,041 Group: Members Member #450 Joined: June 3, 2008	OOC: It's fine and dandy that they just did that, but if that post was meant to be a general counter to what I just barely sent, implying that they intercepted it, remember that my initial public message to Ukabanea was sent moments after they went Dominion, the response in turn would have come extremely soon afterward, with my own response to that coming back... all of the IC stuff between Uka and I would have taken the better part of a mid-afternoon... so even if it was within a day it wouldn't have been of use. I can play this game too ;)

Millions upon trillions of bits of data fly around the world every minute, if not second. How would you know which one to look for, assuming Ukabanea took all necessary precautions, which he wants to assume he did. It's a lot harder to intercept messages today than it was 60 years ago. Fuck, even properly encrypted email is all but impossible for even the best cryptologists to crack. A 64-bit encryption takes a computer anywhere between four to six months to break - and governments generally operate in the 1028+ range, especially for more secure transmissions. Whatever. The Dominion is strong - it isn't God. :lol: You'd probably see a heavily encrypted message, and spend the better part of the next 20 years trying to open it, at best. :lol: Edited by Union, Sep 9 2008, 10:51 PM.

Just note that the Dominion can always take BACK the land it gifted to the Combine if it finds the Ukabanean leadership to be anything less than absolutely faithful to Zapht. And then some.

I don't haveto rp with the dominion if i don't want to. 3. i didn't expect that this small post was going to start such a big thing all it was ment to do was to say "hey ukabanea's with the WMD now." The whole Abbot sending the letter to Ulgania thing was just to say that Ukabanea will eventually rebel. Which i thought Kas understood. I didn't want to blow this out of perportion, guyz i just wanna have a good RP and would like to actually have things go my way once in awhile other than kas's :dry: . And the Dominion will invade you and seize the land if you double cross them. By forum rules, that is allowed. It has prevented certain wars in the past from being instigated. You can rebel, but you WILL run the risk of losing it all. You cannot have your cake and eat it too. And the Dominion doesn't interfere in internal affairs provided that said affairs do not mess with the Dominion. Which you and Ulgania are clearly doing. You got bitched at because you didn't bother to talk to me about this RP. This ain't no little thing either.

The only reason which I entered the Dominion was because you made me by saying the dominion would invade Ukabanaea which by my recollection I never gave you permission to do. I only went along with it because I didn�t want to make a big fuss of it. The Rebellion isn't even active at the time. Right now the Combine is going to go along with everything the Dominion says up until the point where it begins to decay and eventually falls. I also brought up the general violation of sovereignty thing a while ago and got bitched at myself. In all honesty, this is basically turning into bullying

If you have such an RP, PM me rather than spring this kind of RP on me. Then this wouldn't happen. Being vague is not in your best interests. Or anyone elses. And Ul, bullying? I was uninformed of this RP before it came to light and now suddenly there are defectors? And if there is to be a rebellion, the Dominion is fully within its right to move in IC and OOC. Next time use the PMs and I wouldn't be bitching at you both. RD, AA, somebody, please split and lock. I asked Nag but he hasn't been on today.
