(OOC: Ok this was a little fast and a little makeshift but oh-well) Titus sat wearily in his metal chair, pondering of what the vast expanse called the "future" had in store for the Combine and Ukabanea. It had been not more than a month since the end of the Sedulion war; although Titus had only shortly arrived after taking care of some political negotiations. Quietly Marcus Abbot entered the Imperial solar, making sure to carefully close the large metal door behind him, He slowly made his way over to where the Emperor sat lazily on his chair. "My Lord the nations of the middle east are beginning to choose sides, the moment we have dreaded is upon us." The Emperor simply stared out the window, out across Bakal. "Your grace" said Titus in a stressful tone. "yes...yes of course your grace. Never the less your grace our enemies encircle us as we speak. The Dominion rolls over the earth like an unstoppable steamroller. None can stop it, none can contend with its power. It will consume us if we do not take action." Titus sat still, almost calm. Staring out over Bakal. "Why do you tell me what I already know Abbot?" Abbot looked around. "I thought his grace would like to know-" "I have heard it abbot. The Generals say it the Centurions say it, hell even Gregor says it." Titus rose from his seat. "But think for a moment Abbot. Willfully Joining with the Dominion leaves open a path of unstoppable conquest for both the Dominion and the Combine. We can have our great Khalasar that we had envisioned for so long. With the Combine joined with the Dominion none in the middle east will be able to stop the onslaught." Quickly Titus stepped down from his chair. Abbot looked overwhelmed and confused. "where are you going, my lord?" Titus turned "To make my statement" -------------- Statement to the middle east and the Serpentine pact. "It has become increasingly evident that in order to maintain order and peace in the middle east force must be used to forge it. Through this the Combine now states its willingness to join the World Military Dominion and renounces all former ties to any other pacts. Emperor Titus Alexander, The Red Eagle of Ukabaena |

OOC- If Nag wants to RP it out, I'll let him, but for quickness sake... IC- Being almost totally enclosed within the Dominion, the Foreign Ministry had expected the Combine leadership to see things their way, and so already had plans for its ascension long ago. The maps would be quickly redrawn, and Arradashkin would have to formally sign the agreement with Ukabanea, but in effect, everything had been settled long ago on the Dominion's behalf. By the next day of the announcement, the Combine Army was being amalgamated with Dominion forces. While at first the Ukabaneans were perplexed, they immediately began to like the new arrangement, as their men were immediately sent to war to fight for the glory of the Dominion and of their homeland. To make Ukabaneans feel even more welcome, the Dominion quietly alloted the land east of them, promptly using Executive Order 101 to dissolve whatever non-Dominion authority had been affiliated with that area. Message to the Combine of Ukabanea From: Chancellor Valentine Dearest Abbot, For a time now, you have been a strong ally of Ulgania. Between my uncle, as well as Everlet Roberts who took power so daringly and bravely, you stood with us. Through shifting world affairs and crisis, you stood with us. In Ulgania’s most desperate moments when it would have torn itself to pieces, you stood with us. However, it seems we have reached a crossroads. The time has come that you have, maybe not quite in your own will taken up an alliance with those who Ulgania hates most. I will not stand to have relations with Ukabanea if this stands. As of now, all Ulganian diplomats and citizens have been ordered to leave your borders. All Ulganian trade is cut to Ukabanea, and furthermore, the military base that houses 100,000 Combine Soldiers that were sent in the name of all Ulgania stands for are ordered to leave without condition. Every Ukabanean citizen is also ordered to leave Ulgania. Every Combine asset is to be frozen and confiscated. There shall be a complete pullout of Ulgania in the next 24 hours, lest the Combine soldiers find themselves isolated, without supplies. Unless you wish to see your own citizens die a slow, painful, and agonizing death at the hands of starvation, or need be the hands of the armed forces of Ulgania itself. We do not wish for these actions to occur. A deeper respect for the people under the Combine still exists. For if it wasn’t for this respect, your people would already be dead. OOC: Time. Seeing as Uk has just joined... there's no Dominion police presence. If Uk wants to arrest these citizens, Nag Ehgoeg has a few hundred million cops who can help with these arrests (not to mention SMART and the 17th Dominion Army). Otherwise, Zapht pretty much has no power here except to issue an inflamatory statement. |

Through this time our peoples have grown undeniably fond of each other and have even developed somewhat of a healthy rivalry under the surface, but the times of games and talks are over and the era of action has presented it’s self. It’s quite obvious that Titus has a seething hatred of the Dominion under the surface, yet even so he channels its power through the Combine in order to conquer new lands and strengthen our armies. The actions against Bactra were only initiated by the Dominion to appease Titus’s appetite for power, and once the undeniably large cracks begin to form in the Dominion Titus will most likely rebel against the fractured Dominion, vying for more power and independence that already the people of Ukabanea urn for. Though, we must be patient, opposition already seethes against the Dominion in parts of Sythirus, how long will it be till it turns to outright rebellion? We would be very lucky to have Ulgania on our side, but I shall echo the words I spoke at our previous meeting. We must be patient. |

OOC- Its because it makes no difference to the IC outcome that I did it. But I could always say, because it was encrypted and not secret, the Dominion Overwatch knew you made a transmission outside your jurisdiction without their, just that they don't know what it says. They're just keeping it on suspicion. They're like that. |

OOC- They will not know immediately. Nor will they know the exact minute we return to this RP, but once RP'd that they break the encrption, then they will know. You could always retcon out the transmission if you want, but your not having cake and eating it too. |

OOC- had to pass Dominion Airspace at somepoint, which is totally monitored by the Overwatch. The fact that it was encrypted to a non-Dominion code would raise suspicions at once. Of course, they do not know what the contents are yet. just that it went from Ukabanea to somewhere toward Africa. |
