Yay for Paradise!!! :D

My sister in-law was in a accident recently, they totaled out her Toyota Corolla, but luckily the money she got back she was able to pay towards the purchase of a new car, a Camry.

You know I hear these Toyotas keep the valued REALLY well and now I believe it given what she got back which was basically exactly what she put into when she bought it about two years ago.

Honda and Toyota are very good at keeping their value, but they initially cost more than american or korean cars.

Congrats! My car's a used 1996 Subaru Legacy with a little over 151,000 miles on it. I've put about 16,000 miles on it since buying... but my last payment is this month! And I don't even have to pay it! :D

It's going to need work soon though. New tires, windshield, rotors for the brakes, and the rear wiper blade needs to be fixed... so yeah.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

But still, congrats!

I hate Toyota's, especially Yaris's, but they have good gas mileage and a car is a car. So, meh.

That's what always happens when you pay your car off, everything and the kitchen sink goes out on it. Although *goes off to knock on wood* I haven't had too much trouble with my 2001 Mustang, haven't even hit 30k miles either :)

I began my work yesterday as a consultant in financial security, and that will give me plenty of time to drive my new car :D

I must go to Montreal tomorrow for a training and then next week I must go to Gaspé (small city on the gaspesian peninsula (Eastern Quebec) for a bi-annual meeting of my cabinet.

If I have access to Internet during my trips, I will try to visit the forum as often as possible.
