The Zeelari Merchant Fleet is increasingly becoming worn thin. Though not based in the landlocked nation of Zeelar, but rather in nations friendly to her, she still sails under the Zeelari flag. While trade with Middle Eastern ports of call, especially dealing in scrap and processed metals, have enriched the nation, they have made quick work of an aging fleet. Therefore, we are searching the world over for any used or otherwise good condition ships for procurement. All will be subject to specific guidelines. It has long been the practice for larger nations to dispose of older vessels by sale to smaller nations and we see no reason to change this practice. The aging vessels will be scrapped on a one-for-one return basis. |

The Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie (VOC) would very much be interested in doing business with the Zeelari government and could guarantee all types of ships of good, solid quality including container ships, bulk carriers, and tankers. You labor under misapprehension, forgive me. Zeelar has privatized its shipping resources. While we existed on credit for quite some time during the massive transportation of metallic products to Yasaman Industries, in their Middle Eastern ports, all of that has been now paid. We are very much solvent. It even caused a temporary metal shortage in our nation as industries scrambled to produce enough, though we are now at wholly balanced levels. Therefore, we as individuals, though, would be very interested in dealing with the Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie. It is fortunate that you sell container ships, bulk carriers, and tankers. We are in need of all of them, however, our passenger vessels are in fine shape. Written Collectively by the Investors of Lines Represented by the Zeelari Merchant Fleet. |

We presume these vessels are used? To have such prices, they must be. However, these vessels are just as well as any new vessel, and we are especially impressed with the Mucius Line tankers. While bulk freighters are in the greatest demand, and in the biggest worry of aging considering both our metal-goods dealings and the recent increase in disposal traffic, this seems also to be a great time to make an investment in the Jankowski Line ships. However, with the West African docked fleet heating up, due to traffic across the Trans-Saharan Railroad, there is also the concern for container vessels. How many of each ship are in stock? We usually maintain a medium sized fleet, so this answer could really assist us in our choices here. Thank you again, you can be assured of well done business here. For such prices the VOC guarantees a fine product, either new or barely used. The VOC's own fleet is constantly updated and refitted to meet new world demands. Currently there are approximately seven of each ship available for sale, as more are being built. Within the next three years another five of each shall be ready and the VOC accepts payment when the customer receives his/her shipment. Hans Van Diepen Grand Duke of the VOC |

Posted Image Though we respect the Zeelar private sector with providing it's country with a shipping industry, we would like to offer the companies of Zeelar with a third option that could save the people of Zeelar millions in the way of shipping costs. An international shipping company based in Russia that is financed by oZ. Corp. Investments has the technology, money and numbers to offer Zeelar companies with fleets of trade ships that they will maintain, to ship Zeelar products across the globe and at a cost that will rival the current costs companies pay to current Zeelar shipping companies. -oZ Corp. This is a highly acceptable offer. We would initially like to place an order for ten of each class of vessel being ordered. If they are uncommissioned, we would wish for your institution to conduct the appropriate details. However, if they are commissioned, they should be sailed under their current name. For new vessels, however, we would kindly ask that we should be allowed to choose the names. We would leave them, however, if they are commissioned and do not have the names of individuals. To avoid unnecessary paper work to our esteemed colleagues, we would like to offer the following list for starters: ► Covenant of Abraham ► Spirit of the Aten ► Star of Africa ► Brain Spoiler ► Sky God ► Rising Sun ► Zion ► Mount of Sinai ► Ra's Glory ► Lady of the Nile ► Shamshir ► Scimitar ► Merchantman Thank you. Should there be further vessels who do not bear names, allow us to know. We trust you understand seafaring tradition. On the hand of oZ Corp, however, we are confused. Zeelar registered vessels do not even dock in Zeelar, considering Zeelar has no coastline. Furthermore, there is no government control on competition here. You could easily provide whatever service you wish, and we would gladly have you do it as well, under your own banner. Do your vessels not fly the Russian Ensign? OOC: I'll just wrap this up in vague terms. Don't feel like listing dozens of names... IC: The VOC can immediately provide seven of each class to you, four of each type of ship being commissioned. The three remaining of each type are currently unnamed and will be given a temporary sailing tag for trade confirmation. Upon arrival you may give them a proper name for the books. As for the other ships, they are currently under construction and not commissioned; however, they will follow the same procedure as the nine unnamed ships. They will be given a temporary sailing tag which you will provide to us upon arrival so that we may confirm their identity. Should our procedures be acceptable to you I therefore look to happily conclude our deal with a signature. From the entire Board of Dukes, including myself, we are honored to have conducted business with you and your partners. Many blessings for future success! Hans Van Diepen Grand Duke of the VOC |
