Today Comrade Robert Niépcé, President of the CSR, announced a new design competition to outfit the new De l'Armée Populaire de Çerdoné (CPA for you Anglisskies) with its Infantry Gear, as well as offer Çerdoné as a location for arms plants, to produce the winning designs. The competition included a search for the roles of: -Infantry Assault Rifle -Infantry Handgun -Infantry Sniper Rifle -Infantry Combat Package (Fatigues, Survival Gear, etc. -Hand Grenade, Fragmentation -Logistics Vehicle -APC or IFV OOC: More roles will be added as Çerdoné grows more independent. Hints: I like those new black-plastic kind of designs for guns, and keep in mind that this is geographically Sweeden. |

The Zeelaran based Iconoclastic Arms would like to put forth the F1 Fragmentation Grenade for consideration by this board. It is a high explosive cartridge grenade that utilizes steel bearings inside of the grenade to achieve an equal distribution of the explosive force of the grenade. Therefore, the weapon itself can ascertain a six meter casualty radius. For the role of sidearm, this company would like to introduce the Para-Ordnance LDA to the table. Firing the .45 ACP round, this weapon is already the standard issue sidearm of Zeelar and has served honorably. It is available in 14, 16, and 18 round clips and is a hardwearing double-action pistol. It may not be a polymer design necessarily, but it works. |||| Trans-Atlantic Industries of The Confederacy of Tutchone proposes its Mark VII Disruptive Pattern Camouflage for service. It is a traditional pattern that is both effective and easy to reproduce. Utilizing a similar pattern design for each of the standard conditions (i.e. woodland, desert, etc.,) there is no difficulty in equipping an entire military service. Furthermore, polymer cloth combined with woolen and cotton fabrics work for a moisture wicking effect. Also, Tutchone understands what it means to be in a cold climate as Çerdoné is. These polymer-organic compounds work well in such temperatures. Posted Image |

Austronesian Design Consortium of Emangu has an alternative proposal. The CP1 is an excellent sidearm and uses a three safety system with an enclosed striker to prevent accidental firing. It is, for all intensive purposes, totally snag proof. A double action nine millimeter handgun, it uses an innovative design to remain always cocked without any worry of unsafe carrying procedures. Its compact size also prooves useful in combat operations. Posted Image To compliment this, we also offer the CR 21 assault rifle. It fires the 5.56 cartridge and has a range of over 400 meters. It is a bullpup design that has curved lines and is totally encased in plastic. The CR 21 has a built in scope that uses fiber optics instead of batteries. It is snag proof, and its plastic shell is wholly resistant to heating and freezing. That all being said, that is not the selling point. Its economics. The CR 21 uses Kalashnikov mechanisms and has what is essentially the AK-74 action. Furthermore, this use of polymers is far less expensive then metal. Therefore, the real selling point is economics. The CR 21 is on par with Kalashnikov designs in price. In fact, Emangu is conducting the switch to both of these weapons, based on how inexpensive they can be once full production enters. The CPA has decided to adopt the OTOBRENN HK416 Assault Rifle as our assault rifle, the Iconoclastic Para-Ordnance LDA as handgun, the Iconoclastic hand grenade, Trans-Atlantic Industries fatigues, and the IMC AMX 10P. |

The CPA is invited to present formal orders to the Iconoclastics Arms Corporation. We look forward to your patronage. |||| Likewise, the CPA is invited to present a formal order to Trans-Atlantic Industries. It formally should be able to handle the textile orders. [OOC - I'm actually quite shocked. I thought you would take the polymer stuff over the traditional stuff: I thought you would have taken the Austronesian sidearm as opposed to the Iconoclastics one.] |
