Bactria, Alexandria Echate [Nation absent as of August 1, 2006] Bactria should have been here already, as it was on an overlapping portion of the Asian Continent map, but I accidently omitted it. That mistake has now been fixed. However, I could not find Bactria in Asian Continent, when I went to link to it. Is it somewhere else? Perhaps Filo could show me where it is? The same applies to anybody else whose nation is marked in red. The following nations were moved on August 1, 2006, as a result of Bactria being added. I apologize to these nations, as the error was my fault. 28. Al Jinnah, Unknown 31. Anticitizen, Frohman City

Though I intend to take some time off from the forums, I will still try to update the map in a timely fashion. If there are any updates that need to be made now, please inform me so that I can do them today before I take my leave.

Nations have been removed, all requested additions have been made, and some changes have been made to better reflect RP. Also, the map key has been cleaned up and nations renumbered to compensate for removed nations. I have some comments/questions as follows. All relevant answers should be private messaged to me: 1) Any player whose national capital is listed as "Unknown," should immediately private message me the name of his capital. Similarly, if your capital is not marked with a dot on the map, you are expected to private message me and tell me as precisely as possible where to mark it. 2) lilgrexicano has made it clear to me that he does not intend to RP Kavkazistan, so I removed it, and switched the joint-occupation zone to a sole Araamenian possession. Al Araam has indicated that he does not wish to play Al Araam anymore, but as he intends to RP its demise, I will not remove it yet. Wadj has indicated that he will not RP Wadj any longer, but I have an RP planned involving the Fall of Wadj and Egypt especially, so I will hold off on removing him for RP reasons. 3) Kasnyia has the only colony in the Middle East. I request that Kasnyia creates a puppet nation to represent the Kasnyian possessions in the Middle East. 4) The player Shreikland seems to have been active a few months ago, so I chose to hold off on removing his territories, recalling that he had some connection difficulties. Can anybody say anything about his current circumstances, and whether I should continue to hold his place even though his nation does not exist on NS? PM me with information. 5) Finally, I have transferred Jerusalem to the USOI and RD, as per the storyline. Palestine al-Ittihad/Jordan is Langarra now, but the Ashkelon enclave was not supposed to become part of Langarra. In RP, I have offered it to USOI in bargain, and have joined it to USOI on the map. 6) Other mapmakers who overlap with me may need to make some updates for consistancy. Thanks.

As you can see, it has been a pretty major update, with a large amount of free space cleared up. I expect to do another update soon, in which I will renumber the map. I marked the occupations in former Wadj using a lighter shade of blue; I will integrate them into the occupying nations as RP develops and if the occupations are fully recognized.
