I saw TDK last night, and it was probably the most brilliant thing I've seen this year.

Discuss!

I'll try to see it soon. Glad to hear it was good :D

Would you say that it maintains the tone/atmosphere of the prior movie?

Oh yes.

Greatest movie of the year, by far.

I want to see it myself, but as a extreme fan of the classics I'll always think Nicholson's portrayal of Joker to be the best. But that's just a personally opinion although I do look forward to see what Ledger brought to the character.

Thanks for deleting my post NRE...

Anyway, I found this creepy-as-hell Ctrl+Alt+Del edit that was done like Joker would do it.

http://img210.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cadmiscarriagejokerbk1.jpg

What did I do with said edit? Spammed the CAD forums with it. Got a lot of scared responses before the topics were all deleted and I was banned. Now me and a bunch of others are planning to actually invade and scare those guys good

Alright, as for the movie, the way they portrayed Joker and Two Face was great. I was disappointed that there was no Harley though.

Cinematic orgasm. This is the only way of describing it accurately.

The creepiest thing in the movie IMO was Joker screaming LOOK AT ME.

Holy shit.

Best movie of the year, with only a few unmemorable flaws. A tremendous, magnificent movie. As I fan of Jack Nicholson I am not at all ashamed to admit that Heath Ledger surpassed him in the role of the Joker, by far. Throughout the movie I couldn't wait for the next scene with the Joker! The "posthumous Oscar" is much hyped but sincerely deserved.

The only part I objected to was that Christian Bale was significantly more attractive than the female lead, Maggie Gyllenhaal. Her face looked like it was melting off her skull the whole time.

Good to hear my home town played such an important part in this movie too! Many a scene filmed right outside my old office on LaSalle St.!!

Christian Bale (aka Batman) just got arrested the other day for assaulting his sister and mother.

He made bail, but now he has to go to court.

Talk about a Dark Knight....weird actors.

Well....if Heath Ledger could somehow bring himself up from the grave, I'm sure he would've made an appearance, albeit a frightening zombie one.

Seeing it again tonight with some friends.

I wonder if it hit the $200 million mark yesterday?

That would mean only another $400 million until it becomes the highest grossing film in the USA :D

...stupid Titanic staying in theaters for 9 months.

I saw the movie today. And I felt that her character felt like a different character from Katie Holmes' in the previous one, though they were supposed to be the same person. I blame that demon-in-human-skin Tom Cruise for this calamity.

I think she's sort of cute.
Not smokin' or anything, but definately not fugly. I'd say she's on the higher end.

Eh. She played the part well enough. All the same the character took her proper place in the plot, so I'm not complaining.
