And no, I don't really expect all Catholic nations to rally to the Dominion... but certainly it'd be nice if they did. :P You might want to consider for RPing purposes, implanting a Dominion operative as a high ranking Church clergy member (clearing this with CE of course) and get this individual either in a trusted position with the Pope...or better yet, have him become the Pope! :evil: That would rally the Catholic nations behind the Dominion and make for a good epic struggle for the last free nations on earth against the rule of the Dominion. As Menhad said, with CE backing the Dominion it would put a lot of nations against the wall.

It's not going to be Dominion related. The general plan is for Antonio to be the Dark Messiah who'll be using the Dominion to his own ends - just as the Dominion uses him. Thought that was pretty clear by now. :P 'Course, CE actually has to come back for his comeback thread to work. I mean I think we're at the stage where he should start RPing properly (CE is rebuilt, Antonio's rule is secure etc)... and it's kinda time for the other Catholic states to back Antonio as a man of god or denounce him and "betray" Genesis City.

I had sent a request for a place in North Africa on the Middle East map, below former Egypt, but nothing has happened yet as I believe there has been a mapmaker switch since I sent my request. As for an operative within the clergy, thats entirely up to CE, though I'm game... As for the Dominion being "too strong", most of the nations going against it only have one or maybe two fronts to worry about, whilst the Dominion will likely have more, so it balances out.

It's not the kind of direction I wish to take this RP in. As Nag said, Antonio is, essentially, a Dark messiah type person. From a 'scientific' point of view he has severe mental issues which mean he is essentially completely sadistic and loopy but believes it to be Gods wishes. Whilst at first we saw, essentially, support for Antonio we will eventually see this change as he becomes more sadistic and demonic (and this should be evident from pasts from his childhood such as his torture of a lizard when he was 5/6 and the murder of his best friend when he was 10). What I see it as is that Antonio is the product of society that is deeply, deeply religious and which has known what hell on earth is like. Putting the two together it is unsurprising that someone like Antonio would eventually rise to power - deeply religious, indeed messianic, and yet, in contradiction, completely sadistic and authoritarian as a result of the desire to leave Hell.
