This hotel was the meeting place of last time, however, it was requested that it was not filled with what was described derisively as 'foreign roadies.' Rather, it was left as a vacant room except for the pair of private guards, of whose Mondragon rifles bore bayonets - a strange sight from a Zeelari national. Upon an upholstered seat between them was Ptolemy XVI - a clean shaven Nubian with so called relaxed hair. In the form of Zeelar, and perhaps befitting one who claimed to be a desert god incarnate, he was not dressed as a national leader would be expected to. Black shorts that bore superfluous straps were upon his lower half while his top was covered in an equally black shirt that was decorated with an illuminated ankh upon his back, though the iconography was probably not initially intended as one could now interpret it. He leaned back into the chair, smirking softly. As an anarchist, he was glad that the political followers were not hear as last time. An unidentified man entered from a side wall, but considering his possession of a writing instrument, he was probably a scribe and the only person, besides the soon to arrive, to make note of this meeting. The fact that he made several notes in Demotic would have furthered this effect. |

This wasn't the first time Prime Minister Barack Obama had been to Nubia, and given the choices he had made; it didn't appear to be the last either. Obama decided that sense the media would not be anywhere near this location, he would sport the traditional tie attire; but rather a nice shirt, and for looks a nice sports coat...just to be cautious. A Zeelari aid ushered him into the room, there he saw his latest foreign dignitary. Ptolemy XVI, and he didn't disappoint Obama's intelligence and perceptions. Much like King Devin, he too sported an attire that unless you had the slightest concept of anarchy, you would interpret his appearance as an insult. But no one in the better part of East Africa and the Middle East for that matter was offended anymore by the appearance. Instead the 2 gave each other a quick hand shake, then he sat down in a lawn chair and the discussions began. My secretary informed me of your request for a conference and I have to say, your reputation proceeds you, Ptolemy XVI. I trust you are doing well, and Zeelar is prospering? What can I provide for you on this day? Posted Image Edited by The CNNP, Jul 17 2008, 12:04 AM.

It is certainly a pleasure to meet you in person. Away from the prying eye of cameras I mean. That ruins everything. How, then, though could simple film capture the light that streams from the eternal Ra who is present at both horizons? He leaned back into his chair, observing what the Prime Minister was placed into. A lawn chair? That was...estranged, even by his standards. However, he did not speak of it. After all, he doubted that a lion-legged chair crafted in the image of an idol deity would be of much pleasure to him. I have great issues to address you on; I thank you for coming. Shall we exchange further pleasantries, however before begining? Or shall the issues be tackled immediately? I am fore mostly concerned with how colonialism is on our continent. I agree with you in that respect - the foreigners do not have place here unless they are a portion of sovernigity. I am glad that we may come to a consensus there. |

The first sentence caught Obama a bit by surprise. "Great"...he thought "another Egyptian loon. That's all the world needs is more men who float around pretending to be supernatural and fake beings!" Given that the Prime Minister was devout Moslem, this did strike a cord with him; but he had bigger fish to fry. As far as he was concerned, dress him up in a Ra costume and be done with it. "Hell, let's see if the loon can fly. If so, I will believe!" No, sir. I think it is best we dive right in. My position is simple, colonies are no longer applicable here in Africa. I am working my best with the Foreign Ministry to call upon all leaders in Africa to a historic summit regarding consensual African Policy. It is my dream to see all African nations voice their opinions and they all agree by a majority vote that colonies will be forced to leave. I am truly taken that you see my point clearer than your king, King Devin. It was hell trying to convey that message across to him. How can you be an advocate of freedom. Say colonies are a nation's freedom, and then allow by application that freedom of colonies to enslave native peoples living there! Obama was frustrated, both by a lack of regional cooperation so far and the tireless dialogue that seemed to be just that...talk. It was a known fact that he garnished much public support for his anti-colonialism record in the Diet. His Ministry would probably sink or swim on this issue. I couldn't help but notice your implications that their are other issues outside of colonialism we either have misconceptions on or just outright no agreement on at the moment. Tell me, what strikes you about my policies? Obama said while eying Ptolemy and reclining in his chair as comfortably as he could without being overly rude and too comfortable. |

OOC: Your opening paragraph to that post has to be one of the best I have ever read  IC: Ptolemy XVI nodded carefully, watching the other Minister carefully, "Consensual African Policy is something I would like very much for His Royal Highness to agree with. Perhaps someday we will be able to convince him of what he has missed. I would, gladly, however come to whatever summit. However, I feel the whole thing is too much talk, and not enough action. That is where I fundamentally disagree with you. If we are going to free colonies, it has to be done swiftly and forcefully. We have the military resources to cleanse the map of these colonies, and I am sure that the ground could quake under our mighty legions as we drove them out. These were the conditions that I had troubles with. They involve colonialism, but what I disagreed on was the handling of it. I believe that we need to issue an ultimatum to all colonial powers that demands that they leave us. I would even support reimbursement in full for their peaceful evacuation. Otherwise, I would support blowing them off the map." |

Obama responds... What you have said is exactly what I have called for. My position is to reimburse those powers for their lost possessions. I want action the same as you. But we have to go through the diplomatic channels. World politics are very picky when it comes to war. Menhad is a formidible enemy, so too are the Swiss Romans. We need allies. I am hopeful that we can create an African Union for just that purpose. With the majority of the continent united, we can send a clear message to these imperialists. Only when we have a coalition put together, can we truly bring about peace and regional hegemony. You are correct that the time for action is now. For too long have we tolerated this injustice to our continent. For too long have our brothers and sisters endured serfdom. In the emergance of this tragedy hope can be seen. The very real prospects of a New World Order. One in which the African Union will aspire to. These imperialists know their time is up and they know that time is now coming down upon them like a ton of bricks. We must hold out until the African Union is formed and fully functioning. Once the superstate is forged, then we can begin issuing our demands and collecting on the ransom long overdue. OOC: Thanks, it is not often I get any credit or appreciation for being here! |

We have already been in a conflict with Menhad – we can certainly tell you that they are indeed formidable. They actually attacked us with farmers once they were low on troops. They are resilient beyond belief. That being said, we eventually brought them to their knees. An African Union? Was not such a meeting taking place in your own land? I realize, though, that Zeelar did not send any designation. That being said, we agree with releasing these nations from the bonds of international rule. There are too many who slave under unfair serfdom. This is all true. The Swiss Romans, too, are a complex problem. That being said, I really should ask you how you felt about the war in Zolony. Do you recognize the new regime there? International forces created it. However, it was also defended by them. The old regime I mean. A New World Order is a promising condition, however, a superstate is not what we need. Is that not just as bad as any other imperial condition? We would be forcing our views on other nations, even other African ones! We would be just as bad as international powers. Rather, I believe we should be encouraging independence movements within these pockets. Think about what we can do. We can assist clandestine services without them knowing. We could encourage revolution. I realize that you must not have the Anarchist philosophies that we do, however, surely you can see the benefit in each nation making its own decisions without the need for a large superstate power. After all, think about what happened with the Romans. It was supposed to be theological and it was not at one point. People tried to abuse it. Even worse a superstate could be used to institute a policy of racism, such as Eugenics, if pro-African legislation gets out of control. Or even of religious conditions. |

OOC: Keep in mind the meeting occurring right now is unknown to Obama. Granted he is a globalist, a staunch globalist. The only reason he is divulging this information is because this is a private meeting. However, there are globalist events that even he is unaware of; and yes, some of your character's suspicions are correct. The African Union will more than likely be hijacked and used more and more for sinister purposes...all in the name of peace and regional hegemony. Obama is but one tiny cog in a massive machine that is turning with or without him. So for RPing sake, I am going to omit the portion regarding the meeting. It is necessary that in times of regional distress that we must forge ahead a new way of doing things. For too long, the African nations have been on the same side but have allowed for petty differences to divide them. Modern problems call for modern solutions. We cannot continue to create minor alliance systems and expect to keep the continent clean. This will require the regional cooperation of all, if not most of the African nations. The will and authority to be vested in the African Union is the will authority of the sovereign nations. According to the charter I will propose, it will convene annually. It cannot act of itself, instead member states must call forth a session and propose regional legislation. Legislation that will be debated and depending upon result, fail or pass. A superstate is hardly an act of imperialism. It is the realization of freedom and regional hegemony. We must not fear change, and progress. I have no objections to using clandestine operations to accomplish our goals. But all ships must sail in the same direction. That direction is the African Union and the New World Order. Only when we have the African Union and real nations backing its inception will we have the regional security we have so longed for. The colonizers will no longer be a threat to our ways of life. Your children, my children will live in a world blanketed in freedom, freedom this African Union can only provide. |

You must understand that Zeelar is no longer part of any alliance system. We act of our own will. We are neutral in the eyes of the international world until someone else threatens us. Modern solutions, from my point of view, should rest on unilateral conditions. At one point the world had no leaders – I wish society were to the point where that could return. Legislation on any international scale is poorly thought out, however. Should the international community, even if they are all African nations, create over-wrenching policy? This is against everything I have been taught. I was raised in Zeelar. We were taught from a young age that everyone should act as individually as possible. How, then, do imposing laws and regulations cause freedom? Freedom comes from tearing down such things. What we need is real action to tear down international agencies. Were it not international agencies that created these colonial endeavors in the first place? If nations are to join the African Union, are they going to at least do it by plebiscite? Then, at least, we can have some say in things. At least let our own people vote on whether or not to join such an organization. I have fears, already, that it would be used to threaten nations to join into it. OOC: Understood. I hope I was no trouble. |

OOC: None at all. You have to understand, Obama is a bought and paid for politician. His political vision is blinded by the obvious. He is a victim of the false consciousness. He has been falsely misguided into the concept of racism equates colonialism. Hence why he is after the colonial powers and giving the fact that Africa has been subject to years of foreign rule and thus racial rule. More good and need to know information regarding how nations will be tricked into joining it will be brought into the light during the secret conference. Morrocon sees the current alliance system as a useful tool when dealing with rogue nations. Colonialism is the parent of racism. Racism is its ugly child. The only role the international community had in this was the fact they did not act, nor was there any regulatory agency to hear the plight of our people. Of course, the Union would be governed by plebiscite. Nations will vote to join the Union and I can guarantee you this...most nations will willingly and enthusiastically join the Union. The Union can never threaten its members because of the plebiscite that composes its power structure. The laws and regulations would only be a case when a member nation cites a regional problem that would require regional cooperation. In the end, the world will have no need for direct governance. However, it is only through the means of the New World Order and the African Union that this can be achieved. Once all people are used to being referred to as citizens of the world, all the entangling, complicated alliances and laws will be antiquated. Transition times, true change requires temporary sacrifice. The price of change is often steep. That is why my plan for the African Union is the most efficient and of course, the Union will recognize the universal rights of man. That is the whole point, those universal rights are being trampled on by the colonizers and through this Union we can rectify this ageless wrong. |

OOC: Thank you for the exposition. While I realized he was rather blinded, I didn’t realize he was bought and paid for as you say. Zeelar will be quite a problem with this though – the establishment of a superstate is against anarchy. Zeelar would very well be happy with the downfall of every government any ways :P Forgive me, Prime Minister. However, what you speak of truly frightens me. When people have lost identity in the nation that they dwell, the loose pride .Yes, we are all humans. However, we are each to our own. There is nothing wrong at all with having pride in which you are. There is not anything wrong with each nation being distinct. It is, in fact, these differences that make the world what it is. It colors the world. Without the differences, I am doubtful as to where the world would be. No culture – simply one would government. Everyone would use the same language, the same money…it is certainly a boring world. And an Anarchy certainly has no place in that world. Remember, of course that I am attacking arguments as did the King before me. I respect you as a person, and respect the people of your nation. Are you attempting to recruit my people, though? I have a hard time believing that you will garner much support in a nation built so greatly on Anarchy. This being said I hope that regardless of what happens, yours and my nations remain close friends. I urge you to think deeply about what you are saying. Your words are as dangerous as the bayonets of my guards. |

Obama listened, he thought; "Morrocon will be a hard enough sell on this issue. Zeelar will take a damn near miracle to believe. However, it had also come to his attention that some of his rhetoric was bringing unnecessary attention down upon those who had backed him. True the world was changing he thought, but the point was to do it slowly and cautiously." Obama then nodded and like any good politician seeing he was going no where with this said... You're right! I have to concede that their are a number of untold variables in this dream of mine that as of present have no answer or remain uncertain. Change takes time, and let's face it, we have more time than we do money. I still hold to the belief of a Continental System of unity as being the only way of combating the imperialists of this continent. I still believe that is through unprecedented regional cooperation that we will succeed in driving them out into the sea where their rightful purification can begin. Your dissension brings up valid points. And like any other civilized nation we respect your position on these and other issues. I will look into perhaps changing my policy towards this issue or upon seeing reform ability, will work to see it coming into view. Hopefully by the end of my term. I cannot express deeply enough how much our bilateral friendship and cooperation mean to my country and to me. However, I will remain committed to the ideal that regional hegemony is the only real solution to this persistent problem. I hope at the least, you will see that. Even a bilateral agreement and military accord will do nothing but fail. Throughout history we have see the rise and fall of military agreements built upon the very libertarian principles we speak of now. We need something that can truly stand the test of time itself. Obama had spoken with the reverence of a father to his child. Explaining to his son how repentant he was but how he was capable of change. It was the talk you get from a struggling alcoholic. More importantly, he knew that he had some much that he was expected to get accomplished and so far he had betrayed the socialist rhetoric he had so adamantly adhered to in the Diet. They were expecting better, now he was becoming more fascist and that would not be tolerated for long. |

And I will continue to maintain the same respect. Our friendship and agreements are most important. That all being said, I am certain that I will continue to maintain my position. The way that we run things is correct, from everything I know. Else, Zeelar itself would have been turned into a colony. Remember that we have fought multiple conflicts. Zeelar has never been on the loosing side of one of these. Therefore, I cite this as yet another reason for the continuation of Anarchy - obviously something has been done well here. I would really like to see our system adopted by other nations. However, I am not willing to impose that on anyone. If there is to be an adoption of anarchy, that adoption had best be done by the people. If there is an adoption of any government, it should be done by the people. I understand that Morocon, at times has espoused certain economic philosophies. Is this correct? I speak of course of socialism. This sort of philosophy is one that I fear would be adopted by a regional hegemony - once land holding rights are tools of a superstate, then it isn't hard for that state to assume economic resources either. Ptolemy then smirked, turning friendly. I respect you as a politician - your quite skilled there. How do you intend to get Sutekh on board at all? That would be even harder than my own country I would assume. Edited by Devin Wire, Jul 18 2008, 01:51 PM.

Obama thought to himself, "Perhaps there is yet an opportunity. Aye, there it is, anarchism! By his own admission, he would love to see anachy adapted by other nations. It would be perfect! But first, you have to get an understanding of anarchy of Zeelar has it." Well I think we have a general understanding of our national intents on this regional issue. I would hardly call it socialism, although my policies are dubbed socialist. I beleive it is the government's fundamental duty to ensure the general welfare of its people. Health care, wealth insurance, affordability; these are the changes among others that I would have instituted. Morrocon has a premier world economy. We boast the strongest currency in the region, and arguably the world. The birr is an international reserve currency. It has actually strengthen during my watch as Prime Minister. An economic system would hardly be an issue I would address at the Continental Congress of the African Union for quite some time. I understand there are multiple complexities when it comes to ecomonic systems. Let's face it, some work; others don't. A collective sharing of a minor portion of the economic resources will be necessary to sustain the African Union; bankroll the army, its government... I am not all that concerned with Sutekh getting on board, the key is Zolony. According the Sutekhians, the Hu'fieron (sp?) is the god of their gods. Once it is ordained his will, they will probably have little to no choice on the matter. Obama then gave a small smile, showing a bit of his proud dental work. I do have question for you. Anarchy by its own definition is an absence of any state. No laws, no anything of that nature. Tell me, how does Zeelar come about having a monarchy in a self proclaimed anarchist state? Obama calmly and cooly collected himself. This was an opportunity... |

I disagree. The government has no such responsibility. When given half the chance, people can take care of themselves. These are the conditions that I was so opposed to, and fear that there is a serious concern out of this. A super state would simply implement these policies on a mass scale. I commend you for strengthening your currency. However, the deben is not exactly a weak currency by any means. Rather though we have a very different economic system then you. Our system could not work when there is a collectivists thought though. The individual is far more important then the collective. I have long been taught so. He then heard the speech regarding Sutekh, and cringed. He thought for a moment and looked to the scribe. Pausing, Ptolemy looked to the floor and attempted to think. He focused so greatly, that one of his believers might say that he was, at that moment, truly in communion with the gods. He whispered softly the name of the oracle god, and spoke quietly. Ra, who is Amon of the air, I beseech you. Continuing to stare down he finally looked up and stared at the Prime Minister. Standing with anger beating in his eyes, Ptolemy jutted out his arms. At that moment his guards took aim with their rifles. You have mocked the dear name of a God and spoken as though he were a political tool. You have spoken as though you wished to use him that way to form an alliance. You are trying to gain power. Prime Minister, you are hereby placed under arrest by the authority of Grand Vizier of all Zeelar, Ptolemy XVI. Do you surrender, or must this end in bloodshed? |

At this point, Barack Obama was trutly offended! Even the Menhadiens had more respect than this, forget being cool and professional. It was time to be straight project. Oh, hell naw! You don't have any authority over me, I have diplomatic immunity. You damn right this will end in bloodshed. After I am finished kicking your ass, I am going to give each one of those guards a free ass whoopin'; compliments of living on the southside of Mega! Obama lunged at Ptolemy, the guards couldn't get a shot off...damn he was fast. Obama had to make certain that Ptolemy remained close, otherwise those soldiers would put a bullet in his head. Obama taunted the Grand Vizier. What do you know about street fighting? You probably can't even find your left from your right, much less a hook and jab... Thwap! Ptolemy gave Obama a good solid jab to his lips. "Damn, this fruitcake! He got skills!" At that point, they began to exchange jabs. Left hooks, right jabs, head kicks! It was truly politics boiled down to the bear essentials...an embarrassment! Finally, Obama drew blood from Ptolemy as Obama gave a jab right at his nose. Obama had a swollen eye, and busted lip. Ptolemy had a messed up nose, and a few bruises. So far, the meeting had accomplished only two things...white men can jump, Obama wasn't all talk! |

Ptolemy began to fall light on his feet, bouncing back from the attack and wiping his forehead. Sticking and moving to avoid the jabs, he stuck three further punches in on the foreign dignitary, who retaliated with a tough body blow. Taken aback, he back came with a leg sweep that took Barrack off his feet. However, he soon was leveled as well, taken down by the arms of his opposition. Standing again with fists in the air, he again exchanged jabs, each punch in further succession from them both feeling as though it were an iron block. Picking up momentum, this allegorical block railed against their faces, throwing a spray of sweat and blood into the airless chamber. The guards watched helplessly as their demigod was engaged in combat with a mere mortal, and seeming to be matched punch for punch with him. Giving him a swift kick to the back, Ptolemy looked to have the upper hand for a moment. As he gained some confidence in the matter, it over took him and soon enough he was fed with a right cross that sent his head for a spin. |

Obama was sweating and puffing now, hopping in one place with both fists clinched ready for another round. C'mon Ptolemy! C'mon, you think your all that, ya ain't sh... PPHHllmpt! Left hook across the face! Just as Obama was falling and conceding defeat he made one more final lunge, this time his lawn chair. With all he had left in his body, he slung the chair at Ptolemy slapping his entire body onto the ground. Obama smiled then like his opponent fell face first into floor. Blood and sweat, busted lips, swollen eyes...their medical insurances were about to earn their sizeable premiums. OOC: I'll let you lead from here... |

Shaking it off, Ptolemy backed up a bit, trying to catch up his breath and strength. He struggled to his feet, the chair being a large jolt to him. Struggling up and putting his fists up again he took a swing at Obama and knocked him straight into the wall behind him. Smiling sadistically as he opposition flung into the floor, having slid down the back, he continued to walk back and try to recover from the major hit with the implement against him. Turning behind him, he gave the orders for the soldiers and remaining member of his staff to leave. He slammed the door behind him, smiling down at the Prime Minister as he brushed blood and sweat from his brow line. He was ready to take around round of the abuse finally. |
