First work. I usually have a great time working in the kitchen where I work, but today I wasn't quite awake so I kept screwing up, getting behind, and managed to bang my knee on something so that's pretty bruised. I mean, it all wasn't that bad but it gave me a crummy mood.

Later on while driving to a friend's I almost get into an accident because a douchebag decides to cut a blind corner that I'm going across (it's basically a switch-back on a mountain, imagine a ~90 degree turn on a mountain side with me going to the right, and the other guy coming along cutting the left turn, forcing me off the road). I wasn't off the road by much, but just enough for my tire to hit something and deflate.

Alright, I get my spare on and manage to get the PSI on said spare to about 70. Felt a little more comfortable. Now, the thing is with these tires is that they're winter tires. I have my summer ones in my garage at the 'rents house. I was going to see to it that they were put on after my next paycheck from work, but it looks like I'm going to need to spend some cash getting a tire fixed/replaced. Here's the greatest part though. I stopped by my local bank's ATM on the way home to double-check that I had the funds to do this. My general ledger-system that I use (I write down the amount I use on my debit card on a sticky note, and I'm NOT lazy about it) tells me I have around ~$120 in my checking account. Well... going to the bank I'm down to ~$13.50, so my money's gone now too.

What the hell. Screw this day.

I would say things like this won't happen again, but I would be lying. But I do have some good news...I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to GEIKO.

Well, that was mostly fuming. I'm taking this opportunity to get my summer tires put on, then found $20 in my laundry. Most awesome thing to hear though's that my boss god a flat tire pretty much the SAME time I did yesterday.

Still, yesterday sucked.

Oh don't get me wrong, I love life. It's just that life is a cold, hard bitch that doesn't love you back.

Oh yeah, I got paid today. That's $339.47 for like 52 hours of work.

And since the first week was training I didn't get much for hours, so pay periods will stabilize at 40 hours/week... which I guess means $500+ per paycheck if I don't call in sick or anything.
