Hey guys, I know I'll probably take heat for saying this, but I feel that lately I have been a bother around the forums here. I really hope I haven't been, but can't help but feel I've burned someone off.

Why? I don't see anything bothersome about you.

None here, I just keep things simple because I am juggling my work with Literacy Across the Curriculum and the forums. Trust me, I will let you know if you are being bothersome. To "my" knowledge I am on good terms with everybody (OOC of course!). There was only one person whom I just could not get along with and in that case I did go through the system of complaining. Then again, I think I was just the catalyst for his departure.

Other than that, you REALLY have to work hard at ticking me off. You can ask any of the old guard members of this forum that have gotten to know me; RD, Nag, TC, Assassination, Al A, Nor, etc.

Eh. I've only been here a couple weeks (actually... yeah, two weeks as of today) and every once in a while I'll wonder if I've jumped in too quickly for some people. I think I'm fine with people in an OOC sense. haha

No. Everyone should be active. Don't be shy. Forge alliances. Build bridges. Do something.

Now I'm not saying be recklace and go to war with no reason. But a new nation in real life has to do a lot to get noticed and stay alive - so please feel free to do the same.

Or you can lurk. But if you're lurking, lurk and learn - then surprise us with how good you are.

Basically you can't do "too much" in-character. If you're doing something wrong then trust me - we will politely correct you.

Nor can you do too little. So long as you have a nation in the region, you can be on the map and part of the world.

I like your RPing, Devin, It has refreshing touches of anti-pretension, like your current(?) meeting where your ruler is in street clothes. You are the opposite of bothersome to me.

My (old) ruler met with the Pope wearing pyjammas. Fricken pyjammas. The Pope! He's laised with national leaders from his beanbag "throne". The official title he was addressed by was "Andy". You newbies, no concept of laid back.

If he had said you were part of the "old Guard" you would have been offended and called him ageist or some such non-sense.
