ET2(IDW) Posts: 2,681 Group: Veterans Member #143 Joined: May 22, 2005	Yeah with all the problems with the V-22 I decided to go with this. The Fairey Rotodyne, I found it in a book my grand father gave me(he was a navy fighter pilot during WWII and Korea, and later became an Captain) and I figured that if I apply modern technology to it that it should work well for the job I'm using it for. ET2(IDW) Posts: 2,681 Group: Veterans Member #143 Joined: May 22, 2005	In the spirit of finding weird things from the past, I present you The USS Bunker Hill Posted Image armored like a battleship(with the two triple barrel cannons), and as you can see the flight deck. Map Tsar and Southern Gentleman Posts: 9,266 Group: Admin Member #120 Joined: April 21, 2005	This is something I've always thought of developing in the Eastern Empire since one of the only two cases of it being used was by the Japanese. It's the I-400 Class Submarine which was essentially a submarine aircraft carrier. Pretty interesting, apparently the French had a model as well. The US studied it for a while but ultimately destroyed their only working model when the Russian's began pressuring them to had it over. I-400 could only carry 3 3 Aichi M6A Seiran aircraft. Still pretty interesting and something I made develop in the Empire one day.

A real world example being the Dornier Do 31. You can find it by clicking here. A shame, really- You'd think there would be more of an interest in this kind of stuff. In both our Forums and in RL Air Forces. I might just have to tackle the project myself if nobody else does...
