Btw, NRE, whenever you make a UNC Chapel Hill reference I get excited. There's a long family history at UNC. Both parents were from NC, and I spend a lot of time down there. It's my second-favorite state.

 :CE: :sultan:
Well you should get excited  It's the finest institute (an might I add the nation's oldest public university) for higher education. I try and make a pilgrimage every year, during basketball season of course ;)

As for history sake, I was born, both my parents were born, so on and so forth in NC. My family has a long history within my hometown, dating back (So far as I know right now) to pre Civil War era. It is a fine State and the beaches are lovely

92 in Ohio right now. I'm praying for a massive volcanic explosion in some remote island somewhere to spew gigatons of ash that will disperse in the sky and reflect the sun's rays away from our planet and lower temperatures.

To which deity? That could after all make all the difference it the prayer's success.

An I thought you live in Mississippi...or was it Louisiana, well one of the two.

Oh yeah and back on topic to the thread, it's 96 here in Wilmington, NC.

But I'm sunburned now. I'm half-Italian. I shouldn't roast like this. :(
Exactly my thoughts, in simplistic terms I'm 50% Italian and 50% Irish, but I feel completely ripped off. I sunburn easily. It is hell  .

I'm only 25% Italian and I've never ever sunburnt in my life. Even when I was in Dubai I didn't use suncream. I just went a lovely deep red/brown colour.

My God. I burn like the incredibly pasty-white guy I am! If Don and I lay out in the sun for an hour I'll be blistering while he just turns his usual copper native american color! Hell, the boy's half Italian and half Cherokee! Me, half Scottish and half German. I end up looking like a cooked ham.

I endorse the wearing of sun screen. If I could give you only one tip for the future, that would be it.
