God is too powerful to make only beautiful things. At the veterinary clinic I saw a cat with a cancerous tumor growing on its eyes, limbs crippled by arthritis, its fur felled out in clumps, and I marvelled at God's unlimited power to make such a hideous and pitiable creature, and His power to torture it with such unspeakable ailments, as the cat cannot speak to convey to us what awful sufferings it was undergoing. RE: women It is also a testament to God's power that there is an extreme scarcity of beautiful women, and great abundance of ugly ones. And even the beautiful ones will very soon wither to a most regrettable state of dilapidation, with no second of time or ounce of mercy spared them. Again God's overpowering dominion is made clear for humans to eyewitness. |
