Telosan has set up trade posts around the world and opened trade to all countries of the world. Current Resources: American Section: 60 Million barrels of oil. Copper, Nickel, Iron, Diamonds, Gold, and Silver are mined from the ocean floor. The fine white sand on its shores can be heated to make a high quality glass. It's farming reigon supplies great fluffy wool. Asian Section: 40 million barrels of oil. Natural gas is found throught the land. Timber is gathered from the forests. Coal and Nickel are mined in the hills. Pearls are gathered on the shore. European Section: Leather is hunted off of reindeer. 250 million barrels of oil are found in the Barrents Sea. Petroleum is found in the area. African Section: Gold, Iron, Bauxite, and various gems are mined. Timber is found in some areas. Rubber is taken from trees. Currently trading with: The Confederacy of Tutchone (American Region) Ninjastan (American Region) Santa Veronica (American Region) New Nag Ehgoeg (American Region) Iberia Nueva (American Region) The DiCarlo Dynesty (American Region) Telosan's 16 shipping fleets each consists of 12 ships and 1 destroyer. Each trade ship is armed with an Anti-Aircraft gun, 4 Standard Issue Turrets, and a long range missle tracker. They are equiped with the latest radar and communication technology. They are capable of traveling 25% faster than that of normal boats. The destroyer's arsenal varies depending on the ship, and is confidential. The Kingdom of Telosan is willing to open trade with all countries. I will continue to trade with contries that enter a war. All resources from each sector are transported to the other sectors allowing me to trade all of my resources within every region. |

Unless a deal is worked out with the Hispanic state, we will not permit one Telosan ship through the Strait of Gibraltar. These are armed war machines, and it would be foolish to allow Telosan to compromise Iberian security. |

The Emir of Al Qalaa would like to inquire as to the method by which the rights to all these resources were acquired, as well as Telosan's crude prices. |

OOC: I have absolutely no idea about crude prices. IC: The rights to these resouces were aquired through the expansion pushed by Telosan's Shipping Empire. In order to create the shipping empire live up to its name Merchant Dracen, head of the Shipping fleets, requested trading posts throughout the world. King Trekon allowed this and ordered the expansion the take place. OOC: I have contacted the mapmakers on each continent (except Middle East) to claim some land in each region. Since the website's recent format change they have been experiencing some technical difficulties and are unable to update the maps at this time. You will see my country's expansion soon, though. |

OOC: Usually a country only has access to the resources within its home territory. I'm still kinda green, but my guess is that you'd have to acquire each territory you want to exploit individually and IC. otherwise, the entire map would be full, and we don't want that. Notice, I think this applies to countries; Corporations are another matter. EXAMPLE: I started out in Kuwait, but I lusted after the oil and other resources in Iraq and Bahrain, so I purchased those territories IC from Paradise. Edited by A.Q., Jun 4 2008, 06:44 PM.

OOC: I see. But the land I have taken was previously unowned, and I have promised to give it up in the event of some newer country is looking for land. IC: I believe we can work something out Hispania. These trade ships are armed in the anticipation of piracy. Telosan, now an empire, invested much in its trade fleets and would hate to see them be sent to the ocean floor without so much of a fight. They are also escourted by a destroyer in an attempt to turn away any pirates who still dared to approach. These trade fleets are also armed for the event of war. Telosan can call on its trade fleets to defend its land, in addition to this the fleets need to be capable of traveling through a possible warzone. Besides all this, you are denying Catholic Europe and the Kingdom of Sicily and Sardinia (in Europe) Africa and Hamdahnid (in Africa) the right to the valuable resources my country has to offer. If it will help settle your mind, I will have my destroyer escourt these fleets to the Strait of Gibraltar. My destroyer will wait there, so long has Hispania sends at least one ship to escourt them in the Mediterranean. |

The Telosan Empire may attempt passing the Strait if they do not not like it. Armed ships will not be permitted within 32km of the Hispanic shoreline. No Telosanian ships will be permitted to pass through Hispanic waters without paying proper taxes and customs fees. |

The Telosan Shipping Empire will avoid Hispania's waters. The Strait is shared with the African country Vichey Noth Africa. The trade fleets will sail on their side of the strait in an attempt to trade with the countries of the Mediterranean. I will assume this means you do not wish to open trade with Telosan. OOC: For all the trouble I'm going through I sure hope they will want to trade anyway :D |

OOC: Dam, miscalculated. IC: You can't seriously not allow Telosan's trade fleets to pass. you could potentially open up a war with the other nations of the Mediterranean. Also, Telosan does not recognize your right to the entire strait. You share it with Vichey North Africa and untill you have their vote on the matter Telosan will continue trade relations with Mediterranean countries. OOC: Attention countries of the Mediterranean. Please don't make this entire debate in vain!!! |

If the Telosan trade fleet is willing to pay a tax of 5% of the value of its cargo, Hispania will not hinder its progress across the Strait. |

3% and a deal is made. Telosan still doesn't recognize Hispania's right to the entire Strait. Trade fleets will not traverse the strait until an trade deal has been set. The Telosan Empire would like to open trade with Hispania. The tax on goods for the right to travel the strait will not apply to trading with Hispania itself. Trade is still open to any and all nations. |

OOC: Until you RP IC your expansion, it is not offical nor recognised. You do not own the resources or land unless you RP it. IC: Nag Ehgoeg would like to purchase nickel from the Telosan Shipping Empire to be delivered to our Gaza port via the Straight of Gibraltar. Nag Ehgoeg will offer military assistance to Telosan if they find themselves unable to conduct peaceful trade due to the mercenary actions of pirate fleets. |

Due to recent piracy following the trade fleets of Telosan from an unknown point of origin, the trade fleets will be traveling with an extra destroyer. The cut-throats have cost Telosan hundreds of telons in repairs, quickly nearing thousands. An investment in a stronger navy is to put down the pirates and to establish Telosan as a naval power. |

Telosan's trade is slowing. Negotiations for trade have dropped to an all time low. In an effort to make the income rise again, Merchant Dracen proposed the idea of shipping other country's goods. The idea was accepted by King Trekon. The fleets of Telosan will now sail into other harbors and transport goods for the country. Hopefuly this will bring Telosan back into the inter-national trade flow. The trade fleets charge 2% of the total profits from the goods sold. Edited by Telosan, Jun 10 2008, 08:06 PM.

OOC: My country's recognition/trade deal is located in the other thread but here's my own trade corporation's deal... IC: The Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie is very much interested in purchasing financial assets and/or managing the financial assets of the Telosan's Shipping Empire. While the VOC still conducts trade of raw materials, mostly energy materials as well as military equipment, modern times have proven that the trade of financial capital is better business. What kind agreement can our two companies come? Hans Van Diepen Grand Duke of the VOC Edited by Porcu, Jun 11 2008, 09:53 AM.

The Telosan Shipping Empire is a national buisness, and proud to be. Telosan's economy leans on the trade empire and will not sell any part of it. While the benefits have been noted, the Telosan Shipping Empire perfers to operate as an individual, nationalized company the deals matters of buisness with other countries and trade organizations world wide. While we may not sell any part of the trade company, we are still willing to open trade with the nation of Porcu. |

OOC: Your free to consider any shipment to Tutchone as a permanent route by the way. Tutchone based industries had found their mineral shipments to be quite profitable. Garment making is at an all time high, due to the Santa Veronica conflict and a greater interest in the world around the Tutchone Confederacy. Tutchone produces much wool, but tailory has blossomed across the nation. Both mechanized and traditional pattern making has flourished, and therefore a second source of wool is needed. Is Telosan up to the task? Furthermore, as shipping foreign goods has opened, would Telosan open to the garment trade? Edited by Devin Wire, Jun 13 2008, 11:48 PM.
