This has probably already been answered, but is there any particular reason why the text in alot of threads get consistently larger as they go on until a single letter takes up the entire screen? Also, is there any reason that we should actually have a font size large enough to ensure that one letter fills the entire screen and can that be remedied?

OK, I have made up my mind. Change, just for the sake of change, is wrong. We had a perfectly functional, plain, forum which was easy to understand and navigate. We now have a less intuitive, U of Illinois coloured forum which is less functional, less navigatable, and annoying.

Please tell me again why we are doing this??

Also, how the hell do I post a new poll???

When you create a new post, look right near the bottom, under the smiley's and you'll see the "Poll Setup (Add Poll)" here's a nice picture to help

As for the colors, you you'll look at the bottom of the main page of the forums you'll see a option to change the color scheme to our old layout

Ah, the 800x600 is probably your problem. A better res will make everything smaller and on screen.
Y'know, some of us have moderately crappy computers that can barely run on higher resolutions....

Anyway, as for a logo, I bet I can PhotoShop something together. Just give me some preferred dimensions and I can see what I can do.

I have the option to change these buttons:

etc.

To these buttons:

etc.

I find the new ones prettier than the old ones, so I'm unsure.

I also sent a message to Patrua, to see if he still has the little "medals" that we were using as custom pip images.

I can now make subforums for subforums! That means I now have the possibility to create subforums for alliances or associations that already own a subforum! B)

We made this change for two reasons:

1) First and foremost, because Zeta is supposed to have a working search feature. Based on the strength of this, I cast my vote in favour of change and convinced Paradise. This has yet to be delivered by Zeta... but we're hopeful.
2) The admin CP is much, much nicer to play with. On the admin side, we've got a lot more control.

Could we have the ability to make polls please :pope: (that should be renamed to the CE emoticon.)

Edit: Nvm, I found the poll option. I still remain firm on my second point though
:CE: will now also work for the Pope emoticon.

This is what I'm talking about. These screenshots were captured from the "Military forces of Kruzakistan" thread:

It starts out regular size, the you scroll a little way down and it gets larger.

And larger...

I think you get the point. Is there anyway to fix this problem?

The problem apparently came from the conversion.

I edited the message and removed most of the [ big ] bbcode and the problem was solved.

There may still be problems from older messages written before the conversion, but all new messages written after are going to be fine.

Yes... will this Search feature ever actually function or is it just going to keep screeching "Error Code" every time I try?
