I use FireFox, and I just right click on the resized maps and hit View Image. This brings me to a page of nothing but a full sized map. If other browsers work in this manner, I doubt we'll have too much to worry about. My concern is..well..back on the old boards, I could never access my sentbox. Now, I can access an archive here of all of those messages...but I have no delete button. Has the PM delete button moved? |

So that's not it, but I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. All pages that have pictures on them are crunched, but there are a good number that don't have pictures that still crunch. Maybe emoticons, or pictures in sigs? Edited by Rafzakael, May 30 2008, 04:59 PM.

That particular map (European Map) did, The American map did not but it too is a bit smaller than it was previously. Not as dramatic as in Europe but there is a change. I noticed it on all the maps with Europe and Asia being the worst for me. I'm using firefox and not sure the screen size. I do know I'm set on 800 by 600 pixels on my settings but I never before had this problem. It may just be me, if so I'll fix it. If we can't upload images and other people are experiencing what I am then I'll fix the map to fit the new size issue. This isn't that big of a problem just wondering if it could be fixed. If not, I still like some of the options this new format permits so I'm still for the new board. Edit: well if the map thing is just me and the only way I can fix it is the download another browsers then it's fine I can live with it. It would be more of a hassle to download another browser as then I'd have to reeducate certain family members on how to get on the internet and I really don't need the headache :lol: Edited by NRE, May 30 2008, 06:22 PM.

Ok, so the Invisionfree theme is there, it only lacks proper images which will be added later. You can still use the Zetaboard theme if you wish. |

That ZetaBoards logo still looks huge and ass-ugly, though. Impressive job on the skinning though. The logo, if only it could be downsized so it's about the size of the invisionfree logo. |

Reasons I don't like Zeta: 1. Orange is ugly. 2. The folder things are too big and take up way too much of the screen. 3. Almost everything is too big. 4. That's about it. If those things could be fixed, then Zeta would be awesome. |

Well you guys can make the forums look differently. If you notice, Paradise has made an incomplete skin that follows the old invision forum scheme. If you look at the bottom of the page it's there for you to change. I personally like it better because to orange was just a bit too much for me. Overall however, I like many of the added features of the Zeta board regardless if I wasn't about to long on ALL DAY!!!! :P |

WOW. WOW... I drop off the radar for a few months and the forum changes colors and gets all fancy like. I agree wholeheartedly with RD's remark about skepticism and change and will be switching back over to the Invisionfree skin post haste. Anyways, now that I'm about done with school, I thought I'd dive back into NSWR. This time I'll be doing something a bit different though. I think I may start at the bottom of the food chain again and work my way up as a small mercenary state. If someone is interested in having me as a neighbor, shoot me a PM before I have time to request a spot on any of the maps and your wish may be my command. But I'll be putting in a request somewhere within the next 4-6 hours, so act quickly. Oh, and I'm hoping to get one of those fancy name changes, so instead of Al Araam, I'll probably be Asgard Accensi rather soon-ish. I'm sure that will cause some small measure of confusion, but if it worked for RD, by rights it should work for me too. Edit: It's not even remotely the same. This whole ZetaBoards thing makes me want to go hide in a corner and reminisce tearfully over the good old days back at Invisionfree, where everything was simple. Y'know, some of us have moderately crappy computers that can barely run on higher resolutions.... Anyway, as for a logo, I bet I can PhotoShop something together. Just give me some preferred dimensions and I can see what I can do. |
