What now nigga Posted Image MOVE FROM THE GATE NIGGA RESPECT MINE, OR ANGER THE TEC-9 I just went to the pawnshop and bought a Tec-9 semiautomatic (as can be seen in the picture above). Unfortunately the one I got was manufactured after the assault weapons ban so it doesn't have the barrel shrouds like the one in the picture, but I'm going to buy a barrel extension. Since the FBI background check is still being processed, the gun is not in my possession yet. But once I am able to pick it up from the shop this week I am going to have a lot of fun with this thing. |

Hmm, I don't think there is a scope mount, but I'm going to consult a gunsmith about how to change that. Also, once I install a threaded barrel extension I'll be able to "theoretically" add all sorts of goodies such as the laser sight and a silencer. I say "theoretically" because the laser sight is probably going to cost more than the gun itself ($250 and I'm not finished bartering with the shopkeeper yet). So I don't think I'll have the funds to add the laser, but I may buy a $20 used scope. I'm going to take the gun for a spin on the shooting range later this week but I'm not holding my breath for its performance. As I understand from asking around on gun forums, the Tec-9 has notoriously poor accuracy and control, and jams frequently. And has some other technical flaws... Nonetheless, the Tec-9 is without a doubt the best gun to own for the purpose of pissing off liberals. So I highly recommend everyone get a Tec-9, for that purpose, even if you don't shoot it often. In any case it is an acceptable low/fixed-income defense product. Gonna post pics soon.
Sadly my post-1994-Assault-Weapons-Ban model is supposedly quite difficult to convert to full auto, but it might just be possible anyways. |
