Once Empress Juliana got off the airplane that had brought her from Vienna to Budapest, she was greeted by a wave of cheering. The Hungarians, a people long ruled by the Habsburgs, reveled the sight of a leader related so closely to their own. Upon touchdown, the empress was greeted by her cousin, Prince Ludwig, and they left for the chambers where initial meetings would commence. |

An elaborate greeting procedure awaited the empress. First, the parade held by the Hussars was a delight to behold. The journey to Buda Palace was pleasant enough. And the adorable little child singing was delightful. The empress had no regrets on coming to Hungary. "Ludwig, I would like to thank you for this great welcome. Your country is certainly beautiful, and your people are quite amiable. I've sincerely enjoyed this trip so far. "But I believe we should be talking about some serious matters, yes? I've come here to make things right between the Austrian Habsburgs and the Hungarian Habsburgs. Our countries obviously have strong historical and dynastic ties. I would like to see those played upon. Would you agree, my good cousin?" |

Ludwig replied "Yes Cousin Juliana, more serious matter i belive should concerning us. but i wish that Hungary welcome an Hapsburg as is convenient". He leds Empress in his private office, in a room loking the shining Danube. "Let start me talking about family, i belive that between our two nations we should be a family treaty as was between Hapsburg Austria and Hapsburg Spain in XVI century", he pauses "this to strength ourselves in front of the many enemies we have, expecally nearby enemies", he pauses again "My foreign minister and my premier are interested in create a stable cooperation between our two also in face a war. Just for me, i shall be for peace and stability but too many hungarians live outside our borders. It is obviusly that family pact should be informal and no ratified with a treaty, but for honor of the Hapsburg shpuld be valid as it shold carved in marble. What you think about?" |

"I do agree that we should cooperate as closely as we can. However, comparing us to the old Spanish and Austrian Habsburgs would be... inappropriate. After all, they were far apart, while we are close together. We are one dynasty, two countries, to be sure. But cooperation is a must. "I hope to see Hungary as the closest ally of Austria-Württemberg. Our family ties can not be ignored. While I do not believe that we should create any sort of extensive treaty, I think we should make it a point of honor to defend each other and cooperate. I believe that trade between our countries should flourish, perhaps through an FTA, "Perhaps that first favor I would like to ask of you, cousin, is to vote for my nation's acceptance into the Treaty of Koenigsberg organization." |

"Dear Juliana, your sight of our relation is very right, Spain and Austria fell, but Hapsburg dinasty did not and as you have ask me i'll vote for you in ToK, Austria and Hungary are parte of Mittleeuropa and it is right that belong to the same alliance. Obviusly we will vote for you", he pauses "regard to the family pact, i belive that may be formed between me and you, and our heirs, alone, as i say before should be remain a personal accord, based only on family ties and nothing more". |

OOC: Even if your not at this meeting, I'll be glod to respond: IC: Our country is always pleased to grow closer to our neighbors. Marslava is not a bad nation, and is a neighbor with much promise. We would be willing to align with the Marslavans as a show of good faith between neighbors. |

"I assure you, my cousin," began the empress. "That any emperor of Austria-Württemberg will be a noble man worthy of the Habsburg name. Our hope is to once again re-extend the influence of our family throughout Europe, the way things were very long ago. No disgrace shall be made of our fine dynasty!" |

"Indeed. I am currently looking to marry a foreign monarch rather than a lesser member of a family; in that way, we shall be able to once again extend our influence. I am currently reviewing multiple candidates for marriage; so far, the heir to the Spanish throne, the incoming king of Vespery, the king of Cyprus, and the Marslavan Grand duke have all put their hats into the ring. Any one of them would give us a binding tie to any one of their countries."
