OCC: I 've read in other post that you have take me by surprise, i'm not very in accaord to you, however i have amswer to you Raf is is pleased can send soldiers as allies or as mercienaries or both. Budapest - Morning "The Austro-Bayer have attack us Herr Von Doom", said the soldier. "What!??", answered the First Minister. "Without a war declaration?", continued. "Yes sir". "How are we going?", asked the premier. "No worse, they are very few and we are many, front line are holding". Von Doom smiled "Good very good...may be this the answer to my dreams...", paused "Inform the prince now and gathered the army". ----- Front Line -- Afternoon Posted Image The Austobayern soldiers are attacking the first line of Hungary. Hungarian soldiers in the first were hit, but not so hard, beacuse the trench lines, built during the first crisis, help them to shield from the attacks. When Bayern attack went down, many austrian soldiers lie defeated, wound or died. "General Lugosi", says a liutenat "we are stopping them, their tanks are fewer and our avviation is starting to attack their position". Bela Lugosi, smiles "Well take me in contact with Budapest". "Yes sir", said the other. The static charges cry for some minutes then "Here Von Doom, general Lugosi". "I ask, Herr Doom, to send aviation toward Munich". "Yes...i belive that it is a good idea", answered Von Doom. Borders -- Evening Posted Image The fighters will leave the airfields, direction Confederation capital of Munich. "Captain Kellermann", said the voice of Lugosi "Their forces are extimated to be 1:2 in our favor, i need no excuses put down every single fighters of them also if this mean lost one of the ours, i need to transform Munich in ruin field" |

=== Encrypted Transmission === From: Gregori Ostankov, President of the Rafzakael Syndicat To: Viktor Von Doom, First Minister of Hungary Greetings, First Minister, We are aware of your current conflict with Austro-Bayern. As you no doubt know, the Austrian administration has been antagonistic towards the Syndicat since its conception as a state, whereas we have had the privilege of amicable relations with Hungary. As such, I have seen fit to dispatch military aid to Hungary, free of charge. No fewer than 100,000 National Security soldiers, as well as two full battalions of our Stormtrooper elites, have been mobilized, and will aid you in the defense of your nation. ************************************************** Posted Image The Rafzakael strategy was not complex, nor did it have to be. Between Hungary and the Syndicat, the Austrians were heavily outnumbered, and so a simple plan would more than suffice. The Austrians' target would undoubtedly be Budapest. It had already been heavily bombed, and a full sack would be imminent without support, so the Syndicat sent the best support it had. Before morning, two thousand Stormtroopers would be joining the Hungarian army in defense of the city. Meanwhile, National Security had mobilized, and would soon be flanking the Austrians from the east. And, of course, several hundred thousand more troops, and their associated support, were massed on Austro-Bayern's border with the Syndicat, and with the Syndicat-controlled territory, a future annexation, to its north. Twenty-four hour air cover flew over Syndicat City, and the nation's defensive systems were on high alert. The Rafzakael capital would not suffer the same fate as Budapest. ************************************************** "Bravo One, report in." In his cockpit, the Austrian patrol pilot sighed. There hadn't even been a hint of action so far. They could have assigned him to one of the wings engaging the Hungarians over Budapest, but no, he was stuck out here in the east, bored out of his skull. "All quiet here, command. Wait..." He trailed off as thee, then four, then five massive blips appeared on his radar. Finally! He turned hard on the control stick, and his wingmates follwed. "Command, I have five bogeys. Bravo squadron is moving to engage!" he practically shouted with excitement. "Repeat, Bravo squadron is engaging five bogeys!" The sound of an explosion echoed over the radio. "What the hell-" The link erupted in a horrible cacophony, then settled into static. "Bravo one, do you read me?" asked the operator, before repeating the message and trying the other squad members. Nothing but static on any channel. "Bravo squadron is unresponsive, presumed killed. Scramble fighter groups foxtrot and kilo," she announced over a loudspeaker. Over eastern Hungary, a squad of Syndicat stealth F/A-42's flew through the clouds of smoke that were the remains of the Austrian fighters before fading back into the night sky with the other vanguard squadrons. Behind them, twenty-five Rafzakael transport planes followed with still more escort fighters, each carrying a cargo of Stormtroopers. ************************************************** Lieutenant Henrik Zetterberg touched down just south of Budapest. He slapped hard on the large red clasp on his chest, releasing his parachute and harness. Gentle thuds sounded nearby as the rest of the Stormtroopers landed. They formed up; all two thousand had deployed safely. Thanks to the Switchblades, they were able to exit the transports early, and the C-2's had turned south long before Austrian fighters became a threat. Ahead of him, Hungarian artillery and anti-air guns blazed, along with good portons of the city. "Stormtroopers, move out!" He shouted, and the mass of black-armored troops, nearly invisible under the clouds, marched into the burning city. |

Warning missile lock warning missile lock warning missile lock "Shit!" He barrel-rolled to port and released a flare just before the missile-- BLAM! "Fucking Christ... Eagle 9, Fox 3!" BLAM! "HAHA!" Long before the Hungarian air fleet would arrive over Munich, it met resistance. It was true, the Luftwaffe was horribly outnumbered. But they were skilled, breathtakingly so... ...and their P.60A fighters, such marvels of machinery... *Eagle 9, Fox 4!* BLAM! *Alright Eagles, execute attack pattern Delta-4--* *I'm hit I'm hit! EJECTING NOW!* BLAM! "Eagle 9, Fox 7!" BLAM! *Falcons coming up on your 12 o'clock--* *This is Rogue Leader, we're coming in hot!* *Eagle 1, Fox 8! Switching to guns!* BLAM! "WOO! Let's plough the field!" Hungarian fighters and bombers were dropping like flies--but, like flies, there seemed to be an infinity of them at every turn. And hey, missiles are missiles. The swarm continued to creep closer and closer to Munich... ...and then suddenly, as if by magic, the Confederation fighters vanished. It was eerily quiet for a moment. Then the Hungarians radios erupted with cheers. Then the Four Horsemen--the four great flak towers of Munich--came online. And there was only the sound of thunder. Posted Image Scattered across the city, dozen's of SAM's and hundreds of cannons erupted in a devastating roar, saturating the sky with bursts and explosions... and destroyed aircraft. Bombs and missiles fell. Huddled in the subways and the sewers, in bomb shelters and the Four Horsemen, the people of Munich heard the footsteps of giants stomping across their city. Buildings collapsed, fires broke out. Hundreds of firefighters risked the onslaught to contain as many as they could. Explosions rocked the flak towers again and again, but it was futile--and suicidal. Munich would survive. Scarred and pitted, true. But Munich would survive. As to the Hungarian air fleet? Well, as they turned home, they found themselves once again attacked by the Confederation Luftwaffe... * "Damn trenches... what century is this supposed to be, anyway?" The great earthworks of Hungary. If they could be breached, then so too could Budapest. The truth was, in this day and age, all the trenches really did was turn the vast Hungarian army into a horde of sitting ducks. Still, there were a great many of these well-armed, well-protected ducks, so the Confederation would have to play along for a bit... ...before destroying them. * Under any other circumstances, with any other army, asking for volunteers to be the modern-day version of "Forlorn Hope" might have been difficult. But not for the Confederation Guard. They were eager to die. For glory went to the first to do so. "CHARGE!" Hundreds of Guardsmen arose from their makeshift positions, all of them clad in full-body Hamata armor. And, in the face of the Hungarians rifles, machine guns, and artillery, they charged. "This isn't right..." pointed out a Syndicat advisor to the Hungarian commander. "Are you kidding? They're falling directly into our laps, the fools!" "No, listen, you can't possibly--" "Shut up and let me get back to work!" The advisor shut his mouth--hell, it wasn't like he was even being paid this time--but then smiled ever so slightly and muttered under his breath: "Oh, those crazy bastards..." And so the charge continued. Bullets bounced off the Guardsmen's armor at such a rate that an audible "ping!" could be heard, just barely, under the roar of the Hungarian fire. Meanwhile, the Hungarians were practically filling their trenches to bursting. Some even leapt out of them as they eagerly fired away at their attackers. Hungarian armor and artillery began to roll out and fire their shells--completely giving away their position. Possibly the only man underground at this point was the Syndicat advisor. And then, as one, the attacking Confederation Guardsmen curled up into armored balls on the ground. The more religious ones prayed. Here was the Hungarian army, in full force, come to play. And now, here came the real Confederation attack. *All artillery, green light.* Posted Image Hundreds of rockets filled the sky... ...arced... ...and then slammed onto the now-exposed Hungarian army. Posted Image Trenches packed tight with soldiers. Artillery emplacements. Tailor-made targets for 21st century warfare. The entire Hungarian line became obscured with smoke and flames, and the barrage did not let up even as the massive KAAT's (Krieg-class Armored Assault Transports) began to roll forward at full speed, supported by Leopard II tanks. Then the rockets stopped. The smoke began to clear... ...and then the Junkers G.10 fighter bombers and Tiger assault helicopters swept over. Rockets and anti-tank missiles once again rocked the Hungarian defenses, and 40mm and 30mm cannon fire ripped tanks and soldiers alike to shreds. Finally, the KAAT's reached the now-ruined Hungarian defense lines and simply rolled their way over trenches, ditches, and whatever else happened to be in the way before they halted... Posted Image ...and unleashed, to paraphrase Caesar, the new dogs of war--the Guardsmen of Austro-Bayern. * Posted Image It was impossible to know just how many Hungarians had died that day. Seven hundred sixty-four Guardsmen had lost their lives. Their bodies and equipment were all recovered. It was hard to find a complete Hungarian body. Or a complete Hungarian rifle, or tank, or anything really. How many men died in those futile trench battles, all those years ago? At Verdun? In the Twelves Battles of Isonzo? Ypres? Somme? Gallipoli? How many men rested eternally in Flanders Fields? But that was then. And this was now. Now, as then, many lives had been lost. But then, as now could be seen, the trenches had been broken--and as we know now, that did not happen back then. There was devastation. There was the way open to Budapest, guarded now by what remained of a demoralized Hungarian force. There was slaughter. There was the way open to Budapest, guarded now by "volunteer mercenaries" who, despite their experience, their training, their way of life, must have felt at least the smallest of chills running down their spines. There was nothing. Posted Image Except Death. |

Over the Austro-Bayern Skies The fight was very hard. Hungarian fighters fell like leafes, destroyed like fire stars falling from the sky. Austro-Bayern Luftwaffe was good, but Hungarian pilots were good too, and much more than them. In the first ours of the battle hungarian fighters had gained airsuperiority, continue to fight is a madness for AB, the land was filled by dead pilots from both squadrons. But when the sky was clear thge luftwaffe was very beaten. Hungarians, however, retired in good order afert have hit Munich with some white-solphure bomb. Frontline - Northern Hungary/South AB borders The hungarian trench sistem work well, the little, few soldiers of the AB confedreation remain entrapped in the tench network as flies in the spider net. With Luftwaffe engaged over Munich, Hungarian soldiers were free to remain in defence whil air hussars helicopters attack the Austro-Bayers soldiers. Rafkazael mercenaries and advisors were dispatched in Slovakia, the plan of Lugiosi was simple, encircle the enmy army. |

Posted Image The Rafzakael reinforcements had now planted themselves firmly within hungary. Half of the force had formed a line to the west of Budapest, meeting the flanking Austrians head on. The battle quickly settled into a stalemate, with both sides reluctant to devote more forces to the theater. In the north, however, everything was falling into place. With the Austrian air force preoccupied defending Munich, it had been a simple matter for the Syndicat fighters to gain superiorty over the trenches, and every last piece of Austrian artillery had been bombed into dust. The charge against Budapest, the crux of Austria's war plan, had been blunted. Rafzakael National Security was now flanking the Austrians as the Stormtroopers, as well as the main force of the Hungarian army, pushed north from Budapest. The Austrians were on the run, and the only question was how far the allied forces would decide to push them back. ************************************************** First Sergeant O'Neill heaved himself out of the trench and bolted for the next one ahead. He ran in a low crouch as bullets whistled through the air around him, most from the portable Syndicat turrets that had been set up for support. He slid into the trench, only to find an Austrian Hamata trooper doing the same about fifty feet away. Reflexively, he raised his carbine, and fired the underslung grenade launcher. The grenade hit the Austrian square in the shest, shattering his ceramic chestplate. O'Neill turned away as the rest of the soldier's armor was blasted away by the explosion. Nothing but a crater remained in the soldier's place. He moved down the trench as the rest of his platoon came over the top, and steeled himself to do the whole thing again. |

To Rafkazael army. From Hungarian general Bela Lugosi encripted General i salute you in name of my lord and liege the prince of Hunagy and his excellency First minister Von Doom. Our soldier were attaked brutally, we were force, by teachery and falsehood to retreat. Our trenches defend us gallantly and your soldiers were very usefull to crush the last advance of the enemy. The stalmate is good, they have less soldier than us, i belive somethnig that with you we are nearly 3:1 in our favor may be more. General, we can win only sitting here ane leaving Austro-bayern soldiers attack us. They may inflict very hard casualties, but we have many more soldier...and manpower is one of the great weapons for a commander, as American Civil War and WWI&II show very well. But i come from a stock of conqueror, my forefathers invade Pannonia, Hungarians reach Paris in middle age, so i propose a plan. Outflank the enemy with your soldiers and your thanks leaving to us the task to defend Budapest. What you think about? |

OOC: BULL. BULL. BULL. You CANNOT simply decide to IGNORE my attack because you don't like it Filo! I did NOTHING wrong. YOU'RE the one who decided to concentrate your forces in trenches and so on--which in this day and age is almost always really, really stupid. (Gulf War 1, anyone?) I accuse YOU of godmodding by ignoring my attack. Oh, and Raf, my fighters would actually mostly be patrolling around my army; note that they did intercept the bomber stream, but Munich itself was primarily defended by sheer weight of defensive fire. I would, however, be inclined to accept your attack except right now I want a moderator to step in and sort this out because Filo apparently thinks it is still 1915! |

After the peace signed with Germany, Marslava has turned its eyes to its Austrian neighbour, with greater concern . The Hungarian, our historical allies, have been attacked by a nation that, although member of the MAdrid pact, had refused to help Marslava during its battle against German armies . The people wanted revenge and territorial compensation and the Marslavan government decided to declare war, Austro Bayern was doomed, as the whole squadron of bombers started bombing some targets around Munich and more than 600.000 men, with 300 tanks and 1000 cannons, started advancing to Munich . To the Hungarian Prince : Our troops will help you against the Austrian traitor, as we are tired of its unqualificable policy : tre treaties linking Hungaria to Marslava will be respected and th eenemy will b eannihilated .
