Field Marshall Louis-Marc Pétain, who'd been placed in charge of all allied operations on the Quaonian front, laughed hysterically upon reading the front page of the Kiev Standard. "Emergency Powers Declared," the headline read. "How weak," he thought. "Its been only one week, and the Quaonians are already taking emergency precautions." He thought about his own government, and how it was still operating at near entire normalcy. Çerdoné had made a point of not interfering with citizens' general lives during war time. "Must be weak communist government in action... the bastards will fry themselves out before June," he said aloud, though nobody was listening. Quaon was growing desperate. This was exactly where Çerdoné wanted them. They were already suspending citizen's rights, moving into a more authoritarian system, and issuing desperate controls to pacify those democratic activists who had wanted to see change in Lithuania and Belarus.Meanwhile, Çerdoné appeared unstoppable on most fronts, with no losses taken and a vast severity of damage inflicted on the enemies. By far, the most successful of these fronts had been the Quaonian front. The coast of the country fell very quickly, and Lithuania had already been coerced into joining the Madrid Pact's war effort. Resources and supply came through Lithuanian air space and terrain. The Çerdon army pressed on with its spring march, which was moving at a pace more rapid than Çerdon commanders ever thought possible. Already beginning to show a threat to Kiev, it was estimated that Quaon would be out of the war by the end of June, if all went smoothly. Afterwards, full attention could be focused on Germany (which was also in the process of falling to Çerdoné), which would be destroyed within another month. After the fall of Germany, Menhad would be easily destroyed, and then Andorra could be liberated- the war looked as though it would be a spectacular success. The war was progressing smoothly, and it was determined that victory was growing ever closer with the impending knock-out of Kiev. -------------------------------------- "The Republic of Lithuania hereby declares a state of war with the Communist "Republic" of Quaon. The Lithuanian nation will not bow down to authoritarianism any longer, and we embark on a mission for European freedom with our allies in Çerdoné, who have liberated us from the throes of communist dictatorship." -Indrekk Haav, President of the Lithuanian Republic Indeed, Lithuania had declared war; really, however, few took notice. The Lithuanian Republic was not recognized abroad, nor was it fully recognized internally. It possessed no substantial military- only one small unit of rag-tag, irregular militiamen who did not have the transportation powers required to join the Çerdons on their march to Kiev. The declaration of war was a symbolic gesture, if anything, that was soon lost to the pages of history. |

The fast mobilisation of the Marslavan reserves has brought the army to the number of one milion two hundred thousands peole, that have been concentrated along the borders . The Marslavan staff command wanted the least possible bloodshed and waited teh German attack, but, at least now, nothing happened . Meanwhile the first bombers started to attack some factories, avoiding, however, civilians' objectives . |

Posted Image The big and coloured red hull of the ferries didn't fit very well with military operations. However requiring civilian ferries and cargo ships was the only way to carry so many soldiers to the enclave. The transport fleet was made up of 10 ferries and 5 cargo ships and was escorted by 2 destroyers, 3 frigates, 5 corvettes and 2 submarines. Civilian ferries were usually used to linke Mircania and the other country of the baltic sea, however with hundreds of warships sailing in the baltic and with a war in the other nations civilian traffic was suspended. Every ferry was capable of more than 25 knots of speed and could carry more than 1200 people plus more then 1000 vehicles. This fleet could carry about 20,000 of 30,000 soldiers of the corps and many vehicles and a smaller fleet was expected to make another trip from Danzig to Cinigrad, capital of the Theurusin enclave, carrying the remaining 10,000 men by that evening. In a day the 30,000 soldiers were already in the enclave reinforcing the 20,000 men stationed there. Everyone knew that they would attack en-masse the German garrison. It was just a matter of time. Everyone was waiting --------------------------------- PLANS FOR AIR DEFENCE of DANZIG ------ TOP SECRET ------ HIGHLY ENCRYPTED Posted Image Danzig, as capital and major cultural, political and industrial area of Mircania, is the primary attack of the enemy in case of war. Surface-air missiles (Patriots, Chaparrals, SIDAM 25s and Stingers) and gun batteries are stationed around the city and in the Danzican wall ready to shoot down further enemy planes. The current air-defence contingent stationed in the city is formed by 3 regiments of the air defence command. Posted Image An additional air cover will be provided by more than 5 ships of the Mircanian navy stationed at Danzig Naval Base. The SAM launched by the ships will be guided and coordinated by the AEGIS system aboard the AEGIS destroyers USMS Leonidas and USMS Epaminondas. The effectivness of the AEGIS system hass been proven many times in battle by foreign countries and the AEGIS is specifically designed to shoot down enemy bombers and missiles incoming. 400-500 SAMs are estimated to be loaded on the ships. Air defence guns like the Phalanx CIWS will be able to defend the ships from short-range missiles incoming allowing the vessels to launch log-range missiles without stopping. Attack fighters of the Mircanian Air Force will provide air support and engage further enemy escort fighters. At the moment Mircanian Air Force is equipped with 50 F-16C Block 52+ Falcon and 50 JAS-39 Gripen attack fighters but it is also planning of purchase 30-50 Su-33MK Flanker-D. |

Rotterdam Canton Rouge From the topmost spire of the majestic Canton Rouge Royal Palace, Queen Joanna Coras III of Canton Rouge sighed heavily as she stared down at the large garrison of Cerdone troopers making their daily rounds around the Royal Palace, patroling every single hallway and entrance into the building with guns at ready. The swift dissolution of Canton Rouge's democratic government had temporarily brought the Royal Family back into a position of power for several short weeks, with Royalist supporters backing Queen Joanna's authority as Queen Regent of the State, until the swift Cerdonian military thrust into her country effectively stifled the resurgence of Monarchism there. Gunfights between Royalist forces and Cerdone's military were brief and bloody, with thousands of loyal Canton Rouge citizens being slaughtered in the short conflict. Within a matter of days, Cerdone's armed forces had succeeded in overthrowing Joanna's government and enacting a puppet 'Democratic' regime to preside over the peoples of Canton Rouge. A certain "Franklin Delvon", a traitorous member in the late parliament, had risen to the occasion to become the Cerdonian puppet in Canton Rouge and presided over the restoration of "democracy" in the nation.. Some democracy it was... While the peoples of Canton Rouge had been accustomed to the freedoms and privillages of democracy, they were more than resentful of a foreign power occupying their land in the name of "democracy", and loathed the Cerdonian presence with a vengeance. Talk of rebellion stirred within the streets and homes of ordinary civilians, with support for Joanna and the King of Belgium quickly rising to an all time high.. Queen Joanna sighed sadly one more time before turning her head away from the grim sight of the Cerdonian soldiers standing in the Royal Court Yard, a grim reminder of Cerdonian occupation, and turned her attention towards the latest scarf she was knitting for her youngest nephew; a small five-year old boy who had accompanied her daughter to Luxembourg before the Cerdonian Invasion. Tears ran down her face as she thought about young Alexi Dementov, who she feared would never be able to see her again. She would see her young nephew sooner than she thought, for in the distance, the roaring sound of helicopter engines echoed throughout the early morning air.. |

The German garrison in the Therusian Enclave had noticed long ago the build-up of troops surrounding their area, and had resolved not to go quietly. The local citizenry, all ethnically German, had rallied around the German garrison, assembling in local town meetings to throw support behind the Germans. The government could ill afford to reinforce the area with Cerdone marching inland, and it would only be a matter of time before the garrison was forced to surrender. However, by arming the local populace the Germans could continue to make their presence felt long after formal defeat in the area. |

"Mr. President," said Field Marshal Louis d'Marcque, following suit with the slight change in the official title of Porcu's elected leader, "The Swiss-Roman Security Forces are at full readiness and I am happy to say that an entire army corps has been created to assist our ally Çerdoné in their efforts against those in the mainland. The Air Force has already begun to assist Çerdon air forces and soon the Swiss-Roman Navy should begin to work alongside our allies's navies." "This is great news, d'Marcque...Have you contacted Çerdon High Command?" responded, now President, Richard Nixon. "Not yet sir. We had wished to completely finish our preparations for departure before we contacted them about aid. The Security Forces are ready and look for your blessing, sir..." Nixon then gazed up from his chair at the middle-aged Field Marshal and smiled. With a small chuckle Nixon rose from his seat and shook d'Marcque's hand. "Represent the Republic well..." Field Marshal d'Marcque quickly stood straight and saluted before turning and exiting from the President's office. Finally, Porcu's forces could show themselves on the world stage... ==================================== Secure Line: 3433-22-1-3334-4 To: Çerdon High Command From: Porcuian High Command - Our main forces are ready with an entire corps having been created to assist your forces in Quaon or at another amphibious site on the mainland. Çerdoné had had its day. The vile capitalist Çerdons had desecrated Quaonion soil with their very presence. Comrade Marshal Olena Bagach, former Presidential candidate, would set things to right. The capitalists had been banished from the land once before. It would happen again. The Çerdons were pushing their way into Quaonion Belarus, no doubt ready to declare a Belarusian republic or the like. Scum, thought the Marshal as he looked upon his army. These 300,000 were marching alongside tanks and air support to attack the Scandinavians on their right flank. Across the state, Comrade General Leonid Yazov was leading a force of 150,000. They were going to harass the Çerdons and force them forward, into a superior force at Krichev, led personally by Comrade Prime Minister Marco Casmiro. If Casmiros force failed, they would retreat to Chernobyl, where they would hold a last stand, attempting to stop the capture of Kiev. The Quaonion airforce had been doing what it could against the Çerdon advanced for hours. Soon enough, they would be accompanied by soldiers. The enemy forces were within sight. They were aware of the Quaonion presence; it was hard to hide 300,000 men, but they were not totally prepared. The Marshal ordered an advance. Tanks began firing shells upon the enemy and infantry moved forward. A moment later, the same order was issued by Yazov. The two armies began their assault in earnest. After thirty minutes had passed, the assault was withdrawn and the army retreated. They had taken few casualties; Olena hoped the same was true with Leonids men. They would attack again tomorrow. |

Mircania had finally entered the war on the allied side. Celebrations were held, as yet another republic entered the fray- Çerdoné, Porcu, Austro-Bayern, Lithuania, Marslava, Mircania, and The Canton Republic now stood united against the common ToK enemy. Çerdoné's government was now putting extensive funding into the small nations of the alliance- one of the largest benifiters was Mircania, which had its military budget inflated hugely by Çerdon subsidies. Çerdoné's parliament was prepared to fight this war until the end, and this included funding the armies of allies until they to could fight forever. -------------------- To: Porcuian High Command From: Çerdon High Command "We are highly pleased to see our allies sending aid in our direction, to help destroy the vile Communist "Republic" of Quaon. We have already secured Lithuanian freedom, and are in the process of liberating Belarus. Porcuian forces will only help to compliment ours, and we are confident that this boost will increase our effectiveness three-fold. We look forward to seeing our dream of a freed Quaon become fully realized." -Field Marshall Louis-Marc Pétain, Manager of operations on the Quaonian Front ------------------- The battle for Quaon was going well. In addition to freeing Lithuania, a majority of Belarus was being liberated, with Minsk seen as a prize for the operation. The Quaonians had not mustered up any resistance that could challenge their supremacy, which they undoubtedly held, and the arrival of Porcuian troops looked as though it would be the final deathening blow to the communists. To say there was no organized resistance, however, would be unfair. Very strange patterns of large armies hitting and running perturbed even the highest ranking officers, and nobody was entirely sure what was happening. The attacks weren't devastating by any means- but, they were an annoyance. The Çerdon army felt that this was a last ditch effort to distract Çerdoné from its true objective. With that mentality, the force was broken into two armies- one of 200,000, and one of 300,000. The former had the objective of running into Minsk and declaring a Belarusian Republic to be open. The latter's responsibility was to move to the capital of the final proposed republic- Kiev, of the Quaonian. |

Lieutenant General Georges Laraque covered his face as a blast of cool seawater mist splashed upon his face. Laraque was never a man of the sea but he had to endure the last 4 hours of the journey to reach recently liberated Lithuania. The VII Army Corps, as the first main force sent to war was called, would unload in Lithuania and then rapidly move in a southernly direction to aid their Çerdon allies. Laraque was both honored and nervous to lead the first men ashore and into battle. It had been nearly 44 years since a commander had lead Swiss-Roman troops into battle against a major foe. True, during the initial stages of establishing trading posts around the world there were occasional uprisings by the native population but those were easily squashed with a little organization. This, however, was a different situation all together. Many officers within the Swiss-Roman Security Force were already getting the fever that was seemingly sweeping through the Çerdon command; a feeling that a major enemy had already been knocked out of the war. Laraque was less certain. =============================== Laraque now stood on the cement pavements of the Lithuanian ports, gazing up occasionally to notice the squadrons of Swiss-Roman fighters and bombers which were obviously assisting the advancing Çerdon force. The Porcuian High Command had decided to send an initial force of five divisions to the continent, comprising of 100,000 troops total, with the possibility of sending another two such forces in the future. Field Marshal Louis d'Marcque had wished for Porcu's forces to be flexible in meeting any demand that came up, including diverting forces to engage ToK forces in Germany. Not wishing to waste a moment Laraque eagerly stood by on the docks watching cargo ship after cargo ship unload its precious goods, including the newly built and distributed Panzerkampfwagen IVs, Tiger Is, and Tiger IIs. Less costly, more easily built and repairable than its predecessor the new line of Swiss-Roman tanks were sure to make their presence felt on the battlefield. Laraque sensed that the end of unloading was near and so took the liberty of contacting the Çerdon commander in the field. Porcu would join her ally and soon... |

2km from Rotterdam 501st Commando Peering out from the open rear door of the Osprey VTOL transport aircraft/helicopter he was riding in, Colonel Callard could not help but notice the relatively sleepy environment which welcomed his one good eye on this deep special operation into enemy territory, with practically no signs of living life surrounding the city of Rotterdam at 5:00 A.M. No civilians or soldiers could be seen as 1st Brigade of the 501st Commando swooped ever closer to their goal, flying low to avoid the radar outposts of the Cerdonian enemy, asides from several Canton Rouge farmers taking an early morning stroll through their fields. Even then, the few witnesses to this show of Belgian military tact did not find this maneuver to be particularly out of place, believing the large convoy of helicopters to be just another detachment of "Cerdonian swine" flying over the airspace of their occupied country. In the darkness, they could not make out the Belgian tricolor painted atop the assortment of Super Puma, Tiger, and Osprey helicopters roaring through the area. "Five minutes till contact...." muttered Callard through his helmet's headset (conveniently connected to every single man's earpiece via radio link), checking the action of his FN2000 assault rifle, "Gentlemen of the 501st Commando, get ready for action....." Within the Osprey's transport bay, four squads of Special Air Commandos dutifully locked forward the actions of their assorted weapons upon the Colonel's command, second checking rifle, submachine gun, and pistol in anticipation for their first "baptism of fire" as a special operations unit. Armed with an assortment of FN2000 assault rifles, FN P90 submachine guns, and Benelli semi-automatic shotguns, the Commandos were also outfitted for the occasion with several tactical shields; an awkard device borrowed from the police world.. They later prove invaluable... "You sure you'll be able to see the action, Colonel?" quipped a humorous voice through Callard's earpiece, "God knows, I wouldn't want that one eye of yours missing all the fun..." Despite the tense situation, the Colonel could not help but smile at this wisecrack, knowing full well that while the eye he lost at Tbilisi did damage his once handsome facial features, its absence did not necessarily mean the end of his formidable marksmanship skills. "Rest assured, Sergeant Doyle...." replied the Colonel, speaking through his headset, "This ugly bastard only needs one eye to send a bullet to its mark, and will be keeping this one eye on the enemy and not on the pretty faces and asses of your 'boyfriends' in the Commando...." Raucheous laughter echoed throughout the Osprey's transport bay as the entire Battalion heard the lighthearted exchange, relieving Callard of some of the tension in his shoulders. A nearby Commando slapped the Colonel heartily on the back, as he moved to grip the safety rail of the Osprey. "Aye, aye, Colonel..." echoed the same voice on the intercom, "Shuttin' up now..." "Fix yourselves in, gentlemen..." shot out another voice on the comlink, this time more serious, "We're almost the the jump point...." ------------------------------------------- Canton Rouge Royal Palace Corporal Michael Dublais of the 1st Cerdonian Armored Regiment sat lazily on the turret of the Leclerc Main Battle Tank parked just outside the gates of the Royal Palace, clearly enjoying his shift as gate guard as he munched happily on a green apple he had brought along with his lunch. As a nineteen-year-old Cerdonian reservist fresh out of basic training, his designated posting with the 1st Armored Regiment in "safe" Canton Rouge had proved to be a godsend with news of massive Cerdonian offensives into Germany, Lithuania, and Quaon dotting the news bulletins at home. So far, the young man had a magnificent time in "this peculiar war", having very little to do outside of his three-hour shifts at the Royal Palace. Shopping expeditions, bar-room escapades, and endless nights of 'clubbing' away in Rotterdam's nightclubs consequentially took up the majority of this young soldier's day, with the war in Europe as distant as it was before for Dublais's carefree person.. Ah... The nightclubs... What better a place to for a young man fresh out of high school to enjoy his budding career in the finest military in the world? The Dutch women in Rotterdam were very... appreciative indeed, and could always be trusted to have a good time... Grinning at this thought, Dublais slowly reached for a pack of cigarettes (a warrior's necessity) lying next to the Leclerc's coaxial 7.5mm machine gun, stretching out once more in order to enjoy the full extent of the cool morning air.. The sunrise peeking out from the Western horizon greeted the young man as he brought one of the white sticks of tobacco to his lips, followed up with a flash of light rocketing down to his position. "What the....???" *KA-BOOM!* The Leclerc was instantly transformed into a smouldering mass of hot metal by the lethal force of a Milan III anti-tank rocket fired from an advancing Eurocopter Tiger, taking with it two squads of Cerdonian troopers guarding the Palace's main gates. Heavy machine gun fire raked nearby guard posts with the unrelenting rain of hot, angry lead, slaughtering anyone unfortunate enough to be present with cruel inefficiency. Like Odin's own Valkryies swooping down to Ragnarok, the helicopters of the 501st Commando dove down from the heavens in the magnificent fashion, slaughtering all in their path.. |

Hundreds of thousands of Mircanian soldiers crossed the border between Mircania and the PSU. Their destination was Germany and their orders were to cross the PSu border with Germany and attack the forces of the kaiser by the eastern flank when they are engaging the cerdons. The infantrymen were carries by tacks, armoured personel carriers and IFVs and this huge umount of vehicles was escorted by armoured cavalry units equipped with Centauro tank destroyers and by the whole 1st "Lancer" armoured division with its Leopard 2 and T-90 tanks. The force was supported in the air by the 7th "Vega" air cavalry regiment and by attack fighters of the air force. Mircanian generals hoped that the PSU woul join the war reinforcing their attack against the Germans. To: Mircania Joint HQ From: Çerdon High Command We are pleased to see that Mircania has finally entered this final battle between the forces of freedom and the forces of oppression. This new entry should help to tip the balance further into the side of freedom, which we are confident will attain a swift victory. Your aid against Germany shall be most helpful. Currently, Quaon is faced against forces from both Çerdoné and Porcu, and will fall quickly. Germany must fight Çerdoné, Marslava, and Mircania. Germany's destruction shall be swift and soon. In the meantime, continue to bring the Polish Separatist Union closer towards us- this newly democratized and fractured Poland that has arisen shall be a great asset to our alliance and our war effort.
To: Marslavan Military QG From: Çerdon High Command We shall grant the requested support to Marslavan military aircraft sent to destroy enemy fleets. They may land on our aircraft carriers, use our airstrips, and carry out joint operations with Çerdon pilots if necessary. We would be open to a meeting between our generals to discuss the plans for such an offensive. Coordination between us, and perhaps the Mircanians as well, will result in the imminent downfall of Germany coming even faster. -------------------------------------------- Porcu had landed in Quaon, and troops were now aiding Çerdone's armies in Quaon, which continued to make their marches against Kiev and Minsk. |

The orders had gone out at dawn: Marslava was to be taken. At first light German tanks had started to roll, and countless jeeps rolled along behind them. Riding beneath substantial fighter cover, the columns of German troops moved towards the Marslavan lines. No warning was given in the form of artillery, with devastating results for the defenders. The German military machine might have been disadvantaged in the north, but with troops from Menhad arriving by the hour to staunch the flow of Cerdone's forces the German High Command felt this a risk worth taking. At the end of the first day, German troops had punched a substantial hole in the Marslavan lines, thrusting towards the capital city of the Central European nation with the intent to seize Prague and burn it to the ground. __________________________________________________________________ German satellites had spotted the Mircanian mobilization almost immediately, thanks to the unfortunate fact that masses of armed men were crossing the Polish Union border. However, time would not be wasted as it had been following the declaration of war with Marslava. Although most of the Empire's men were tied up in the north and south, its airforce had been largely preserved thanks to defensive tactics and conservative attack plans. Unlike his ally in Quaon, Kaiser Fritz had decided to not deploy his bombers overseas, sacrificing potential victories at Cerdonville for stability at home. Now, the time had come for Germany's Luftwaffe to have its day. Nearly all of Germany's bombers were dispatched in one swift attack, meant to cripple the Mircanian war effort before it could reach German borders. Hundreds of planes crossed into Polish airspace, raining hell upon the unprepared and tragically surprised Mircanian soldiers, who had suspected to have the element of surprise for themselves. The few fighters on escort duty wreaked havoc amongst the attack helicopters which had been so foolishly deployed without fighter support of their own, and the lines of armored divisions made easy targets for the German raid. Supply columns lay in tatters, and the attacking forces had no choice but to slow or halt their advance in order to regroup and resupply. Mircania had not been beaten, but its nose had surely been bloodied. ____________________________________________________________________ Within the Therusian Enclave, German resistance had been fierce, but was no match for the waves of Mircanian troops. However, rather then hold out and give in to unconditional surrender, the German commanding officers made a much more controversial decision. Under the cover of night, nearly all of the 50,000 men who had been garrisoned as a defending force left the front lines, a phased withdrawal which led to a speedy Mircanian victory, but warned of future unrest and troubles when only 3,000 men surrendered. _____________________________________________________________________ To the north, German troops were now engaged in a rabid fight with Cerdon invaders, contesting each foot of soil before yielding. A number of air carriers had been brought in from patrol, and their fighters proved invaluable to pestering enemy supply lines. However, the High Command had decided to follow a course already charted in German history books in order to defeat a navy far superior to its own. As soon as a declaration of war had been issued, German submarines had been armed and released from their pens in ever-lethal wolf pack formations. Their collective mission was simple-to destroy enemy supplies being ferried across. With Cerdone's air force already stretched perilously thin, supplies for its millions of soldiers en route to Germany would have to be shipped by sea. This aspect of the war, the transit from Scandinavia to German shores, would prove to be the Achilles Heel of the Cerdon effort, or so the German's prayed. OOC: Last exam tomorrow, then I'll have time for some real posts  |

In the Marslavans' cockpits, alarms suddenly began to blare. "MISSILE LOCK DETECTED" flashed in red on every available screen. Before any of the pilots could react, one of the Tu-22's was reduced to a ball of flame, then another, and another. The escort fighters scrambled, but without being able to identify any targets, they could do little more than fly circles around the remaining. Another volley of missiles came in, destroying several of the fighters along with three more bombers. With the Marslavans' numbers dwindling rapidly, the Syndicat F/A-42's finally came into view. Two flights of five came from either side, and the MiGs split up to engage. The Rafzakael planes opened fire again, and the Marslavans deployed their chaff, limiting the casualties. The ensuing dogfight was over before it had begun - the MiG's, though they posessed the advantage in numbers, were outmatched at every turn by the next-generation Syndicat fighters. When the fight was over, one Mirage had been downed by a lucky Marslavan missile; the remaining pilots proceded to rake the fleeing enemy bombers with gunfire, reducing them to shrapnel in seconds. "All bogeys destroyed, command. What's our next target?" "This is command, Arkhangel is showing a wing of Cerdone Rafales incoming." "Copy that. Permission to engage?" "Negative, Airman. Too many to fight. Return to base immediately." "Copy that, command. See you at home." |

" Goddamnit ! " shouted a voice on the thelephone . " What are you waiting to stop them ? " continued the angry voice . " What are your orders general ? " asked the Major General . " Send all the fighter in the are, their attack has to be contained before they reach Plzen, I will send you another regiment to counter attack, but don't lose it or their road to Plzen will be open to the enemy " " Yes sir " The German offensive continued and had a tank division on his vanguard . A group of Leopard tanks came in frontof a bridge on the Elba and started advancing ; the first three tanks begun to cross slowly the big bridge, suspecting an attack from the Marslavan forces . They were right : just before the end of the bridge, a shot of a 120 mm cannon exploded the tower of the tank, as if it was a toy . The other tank begun to withdraw, but couldn't more further : the tankers just behind them didn't realize what was happening . The same cannon, then, destroyed five tanks one after the other ; the German offensive had been stopped on the Elba . The Marslavan defense line was then going to strenghten more and more, but it wasn't yet known what the Germans were going to do ... |

OOC: I acept the loss even though I think Leb godmodded a little whitout even asking me which anti-aircraft capabilities my soldiers have so I felt free to "shot down" some enemy bombers too. You know, Stinger missiles made miracles in Afghanistan 20 yaers ago when manned by illiterate afghan farmers. Radar vehicles in the armyh detected the incoming formation bomber formation andimmediately the order of breaking army formation was given. The few escort fighters decided to stay there and fighting until they couldn't because it was too late to withdraw. They managed to shot down several bombers that crashed to the grond and on the formations. But Mircanian fighter were quickly defeated by German interceptors and only two of them managed to return home. The armoured brigade which was at the head of the army quicly spilt up and all the tanks went into different directions. They were the most important ground vehicles of the army and they needed to be protected. Less than 10 of 100 tanks were destroyed by the attack. Infantry units had more troubles. They were slower than tanks and even when trying to move and split up they had many casualties with explosions and shrapnels everywhere. There were wreckage and deads everywhere and 3 artillery batteries were entirely annihilated. The first divisions of the formation also were the first to take the hit and had more casualties than the other ones. The 23rd motorized division was decimeted and the few men left still able to fight were grouped into the 23rd Infantry Groupment, but in reality this was just a second line unit for exausted and traumatized men. Other divisions were in bad conditions and with half strength. However every company of the army had stinger SAMs and this portable missiles even in the confusion of battle shot down several enemy bombers which were too slow to escape small quick missiles. Also the Chaparral SAM batteries nd bofors AA cannons which were behind the army were able to destroy some enem bombers. At the end of the German attack Mircania had lost more than 15,000 soldiers while more were injured. Supplies columns has been hit too and the first medical cares were given by polish village doctors and later by ambulances and in local hospitals. ------------------------------ LIST of LOSSES 15247 dead 17394 wounded 3 Leopard 2A6M tanks damaged or destroyed 6 T-90 tanks damaged or destroyed 13 Centauro tank destroyers damaged or destroyed 40 IFVs damaged or destroyer 35 M113s destroyed 51 M113s damaged about 420 vehicles destroyed or damaged 21 howitzers destroyed 12 A-129 Mangusta elicopters destroyed 9 AB-412 Griffon elicopters destroyed 5 JAS-39 fighters destroyed 7 F-16 fighters destroyed CONFIRMED DESTROYED ENEMY PLANES 19 bombers 3 fighters --------------------------- TOP SECRET MESSAGE To: PSU military command and to: Cerdoné high command From: Mircanian High Joint HQ Today's attack is a proof of cowardy and evil of the Germans. They also violaetd the borders of the PSU and by attacking our troops in the PSU territory they also attacked the PSU. So the Polish Union shall consider this as a deliberate act of war and join the struggel against Germans together with Cerdoné, Mircania and Marslava. We appreciate once again you collaboration and your quick rescue of our men attacked by the Germans. We are increasing our war efforts and start producing replacements for the equipment pieces destroyed. We are going to reform our conscription laws and in few time we will be able to deploy an army of about 1 million young and strong Mircanian men. We will continue to march towards Germany despite our losses even though we think it's better to join the Cerdon frontline than opening a new one which would rick to be destoyed because of our huge losses of men and equipment. Our divisions in the enclave quickly defeated the German garrison but only 3000 of the contingent surrended. We suspect that most of the Germans hid in the countryside protected by the german-origin fermers of the area. We would like to start combing the farms and the palce where probably the Germans would be hidden but we fear to increae the disent of the local populace so we will be very cautious and our forcs stations there will carry out daily recon and patrolling missions while our air force and our satellites will try to recon the tarritory and find further hideouts of the Germans. Our fleet will cooperate with Cerdon and Marslavan navies and our submarines will submerge in the Baltic sea and hunt furhter German subs. |

The Hispanic navy, no longer required in the Bay of Biscay, had finally arrived at Malmo, where they would guard the Danish strait Oresund. They had left home port on May 7th, and slowly moved towards the Kattegatt. There they remained a few days, before advancing south to Oresund. The entire Atlantic Fleet was concentrated in this tiny area, and aircraft flew overhead, watching over the sea. Even while men transversed the Baltic Sea to combat, they would never easily leave it. |

Loses had been light thus far, especially considering the actual amount of resistance there was in comparison to what Lt. General Laraque thought there would be. The light losses could also be attributed to the fact that not all of the 7th Army Corps had arrived at the front line, but many had and were actively engaging enemy Quaonian forces alongside their comrades from Çerdoné. In the minor skirmishes that the armor columns took part in Laraque was pleased to hear that the new Panzerkampfwagens were performing very well, their body design being more than outweighed by their speed, firepower, and reactive armor. Although not having been truely tested before Laraque was confident that the high amount of training would pay dividends for the small but very efficient Swiss-Roman security force. At the moment Laraque was under orders to be a subordinate to the current Çerdon commander in Quaon but at the same time the Porcu High Command was quickly working on a project that would look to assist other Madrid Pact operations on the continent; however, the operation would be lead by the Swiss-Roman Security Forces. Porcu's men had carried out their duty magnificently so far and hopefully, should the god of war approve, her men would finish victoriously in the battles yet to come... |

The PSU now realizes that in its current state of neutraility it will never be able to survive through this war. Germany has made attacks on Polish soil and as such the PSU will not let such raids go unheeded. The Polish Separatists Union now declares war on the Empire of Germany. |

The granting of military access to a nation at war with your neighbor is not a hostile action? Germany welcomes this state of war, so that it might put a forceful end to the gross hypocrisy of the Polish. |
