Van Demans Land has recently cast off the shackles of its old isolationist policy, and has taken with both hands the promises of a brave new world of international relations. In accordance with new government policy, it is the foreign affairs department duty to extend feelers to the international community for trade, alliances, peace treatys, technology exchange and military conferences. Though Sedulion is currently in a state of war, it wishes to extend its hand in friendship to Van Demans Land. We regret that we cannot currently send anyone to personally negotiate. Most of our planes are grounded, and our airspace is currently a no-fly zone.
