Montreal just won its last game tonight against the Bruins and they are going to the 2nd round. I'm watching the news right now, and there are fans in Montreal downtown destroying cars (and police cars). Man, these guys are completely insane. I hope the police will make them pay for that. This is disgusting. * * * Going back to the playoffs, I believe the Penguins will win the Cup this year. They beat Ottawa in four games! If the Sharks can manage to beat Calgary tomorrow, I think they can be the Western Conference finalists. |

Not an NHL person myself, but I hate Boston so I'm glad Montreal beat them. |

2nd round: Philadelphia vs Montreal New York Rangers vs Pittsburgh Colorado vs Detroit Dallas vs San Jose It should be interesting to watch, especially New York Rangers vs Pittsburgh, the two best teams in the East IMHO. |

Sadly I am in France so I barely get to watch any hockey, except when I go to the generally overpriced "Great Canadian Bar" that only sometimes plays hockey, or when I go to the The Fifth on Rue Mouffetard and play Beer Pong with my comrades. So I think you can tell that I barely get to see it, except for the time I ended up winning a game to MTL playing the bruins. I do not remember how that game ended though... I wonder why? :P |

Well, I know you can watch Canadiens games on Internet via RDS . It costs CAN$3.00 per game. Here: http://www.rds.ca/zonedematch/ Unfortunately in France, games will usually start at 1:00 AM !!! |

Which was way too many. Nashville has played uncharacteristically well against us this year. We play Colorado tomorrow, though, which is going to be awesome. Probably one of my favorite sports rivalries. |

When I was younger a neighbor of mine was a huge Canadiens fan and he introduced me to hockey and I grew up as a Canadiens fan initially. So while I now live in Ohio and cheer for the Jackets the Canadiens have a place in my heart and I hope that they can win it all. They've got the tools too: Kovalev, the Kostitsyn Bros., Plekanec, and a rejuvenated Hamrlik. Best luck you all your teams, but as for me... GO HABS GO!!! |

I'm a huge Wings fan. Unfortunetely we can't pick up the regular season games down here in Cleveland... When I lived in Detroit... 90's early 00's the Wings were the team of the town. Doubt its changed much. Hockeytown FTW edit OH SHIT. I didn't realize we have Colorado now.. WOW, just like old times!!! edit 2.0 My greatest 7 year old memory. Not even joking!!! :D http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Wings-Avalanche_brawl_1997 http://youtube.com/watch?v=C7DlAjrhm9s |

The Red Wings have already won their series against Dallas. It's only a matter of time. I mean, there is absolutely NO WAY for the Stars to come back and win the series. Yesterday, they said there was (historically speaking) 1.8% probability for the Stars to win the series. |

Regardless, that was a bush-league, bad call, and the overhead camera proved it! I hate shit like that. If you are not sure, then you can't make the call. That's all there is to it. |

If you had asked me about Osgood a few years ago, I would have said he has consistently been one of the top goalies in the league. These days, though, at this point in his career, I think it is time for him to retire really. On the topic of net-minders, what do you guys think of Nikoli Khabibulin? I live in Illinois, and am sick of people demanding that they trade him :P |

Good goalie. Much more better than Carey Price (Montreal's current goaltender). |

I agree, it's stupid to demand him being traded. Considering how piss-poor the Hawks defense is, he's facing three times the shots on goal others are getting. I'd like to see some others go in THAT net. That's why Osgood isn't a hands down for the Smythe. Yeah, he came in in the playoffs and has been brilliant (something under 1.5 goals per game I think) but because the Wings defense is so good he's only getting real low shots on goal. |

I wanted the Penguins to win, so I was happy that they did, but it was annoying as hell that the team didn't score one goal during overtime, even during the power plays, and that Fleury suddenly got really good and blocked all of Detroit's shots, making the game go back and forth and extending it to 12:30 PM ET... By the end, I was tired as fuck. |
