NEWS JINGLE Live from studio 7D, in the RRBC Tower in the Moscow International Business District, this is Russian Nightly News.... Posted Image Good afternoon everyone, I am Nikita Kulikova .... Posted Image The elections results are in and in a stunning victory, the White Guard have effectively taken the majority of the People's Duma, ending the coalition of Trudoviks and Kadets. With many believing the election would come down to final hours, the major victory by the White Guard for many is serving as a turning point in Russian politics. Joining now with more on this top story is our chief political corespondent, Sergei Glushkov. Good to see you again Sergei Good to see you too Nikita. Tell us about these results Sergei. Of course, well in a stunning victory over their opponent the White Guard has effectively taken the People's Duma, taking a total of 230 seats within the assemble body. That gives the White Guard an effective majority against the opposition and means that the White Guard will not only get to pick the chance to help create the new government but also maintain the tone of the Assembly itself. Their closest rivals are the Trudoviks who now only hold 130 seats in the Duma. The Kadets did even worse and only held on to 85 seats. Many on attributing the lose of both party's to the failures in their coalition, especially highlighted by both parties during their campaigns. Meanwhile the White Guard was able to only criticize the then majority but also focus on what their vision of Russia was. Much of what the White Guard wants to do to Russia strikes home within many Russians, particular with the middle and lower classes which had not always been traditional supports of the White Guard. However, with many feeling that Russia is declining both on domestic issues and in its world status, much of what the White Guard wish to accomplish is aimed at fixing this, which has become a popular message. Sergei have the opposition released statements yet on the results? They have Nikita. The Kadets were the first to give their response, telling the public that they were saddened by the results of the elections but are bound to the will of the people. They will continue to push for the more liberal democratic ideals that they hold dear and will continue to be a voice for the lower classes in Russia. While they do blame the coalition for much of their lose they also stated that they recognize that more could have been done to make their message to the Russian people on what they wanted to do for Russia, more clear. This was a message share with the statements made by the Trudoviks as well. They refrained from blaming the Kadets for their own loses, instead focused more on what the party could have done to better emphasize their vision of Russian future. Leaders of the party did however, vow to remain a strong voice in opposition again policies they infringe upon the health and well-being of the Russian people and continue to push for policies they believe the Russian people want. These policy include a universal healthcare system, tuition free secondary education, and better retirement programs for those aging Russians. Both neither party stated it public, sources close to both party leadership have stated that both will be looking at ways of reinventing themselves from this lost. In particular, Russians can look forward to seeking both parties not only distance themselves from this loss and the coalition government, but also focus more on their politics than the blame game. The Trudoviks in particular are looking into many local initiatives to get involve with, getting back with the people, as one source stated. An the winners, what are the White Guard saying tonight? The White Guard sent out a rather lengthy statement on their win over the opposition. They thank both the Russian people and God for their victory, stating that both have shown their approval over the future Russian that the party wishes to build. They look forward to building a government and working with the Emperor on many of the pressing issues facing the Russian Empire. They are particularly eager to starting the many public work projects that many of their candidates spoke about in their local areas, projects which many felt help the party win the amount of seats that they did. Another huge issues was the amount of funds they wish to see put into the defense budget, funds that will undoubtedly help bolster and some even believe, increase the already sizable Russian armed forces. In another part of their statement they also said that they believe their victory was a clear sign that Russians were ready to return to more traditional lifestyles and traditional values. They vowed the safeguard the Russian Empire against the liberal ideals held in many countries across Europe, preserving the Russian way of life for as long as they remain in power. Surprisingly, they did make a brief comment about the opposition stating they they looked forward to continuing to work with both the Trudoviks and Kadets. That while they did differ of many issues that would undoubtedly come up in future debates within the chamber, that at the core all three parties wanted a strong Russia. Its that strong Russia that the White Guard believe they are going to build, much to the applause of many Russians. So then, with a new party in power, whose is set to be the next PM? That is a good question Nikita. No one with the White Guard leadership made any gestures or stated anything that suggested they had a PM candidate picked. Though there are certainly several strong voices in the party, such as former minority leader Yuri Navashinov who won his re-election tonight, there are a few other new faces that they party might be considering. All the party would state when asked about the issue was that an announcement on it would come soon. Sergei Glushkov, as always sir, thank you for your insight. Thank you Nikita We are going to break for commercials but when we return we will have more on elections in the Russian Empire... Edited by NRE, Apr 30 2017, 10:32 PM.

NEWS JINGLE Live from studio 7D, in the RBBC Tower in the Moscow International Business District, this is Moscow Nightly News.... Posted Image Good evening everyone, I am Nikita Kulikova and here are our top stories from Russia and around the Empire. Posted Image Today the White Guard, the leading power in the new Duma, announced the selection of Vladimir Kondakov, for Prime Minister of the Russian Empire. Kondakov's won the selection through the White Guard's own vast majority in the Duma itself. Though Emperor Ivan and his family remain on their tour of the Americas, it is believe that Kondakov was phoned by the Emperor following the selection. Sources close to the politician say that after a lengthy conversation, the Emperor released a statement through his press secretary at the Winter Palace confirming his selection of Kondakov as Prime Minister. The first Prime Minister to be selected by a reigning monarch who was not in Russia at the time, Kondakov does become the second Prime Minister to be appointed by the Emperor since the restoration of the Assembly itself. Kondakov's selection by the Duma came to many as a surprise. A almost political unknown by the average Russia, the new Prime Minister is described by many of his colleagues as the silent strong arm of the White Guard. Many believed that while his name was sure to come up among party discussions, that he would not be considered over some of the younger politicians whose names were widely discussed during the general election. However, some closest to the party believe that Kondakov is the politician that the party needs to be the face of the White Guard government. Following his appointment as Prime Minister, Kondakov held a brief press conference to introduce himself to the media and the general public. The new Prime Minister wasted little time showing the Russian people the type of authority to which many of his colleagues have to come to expect from the politician. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- "To the people of the Russian Empire I would like to say thank you. Thank you for the opportunity to serve in the Duma, to serve the people in their elected body. His his imperial majesty, Emperor Ivan, I would like to express my gratitude at the honor as serving as Prime Minister of the Russian Empire. When running for my seat in the Duma I, like many of my colleagues, expressed to the Russian people our desire to build for them a strong Russian Empire. A Russian Empire unafraid to speak its mind and express to the international community our opinions and beliefs. A Russian Empire that is unafraid to do what is necessary to take for Russia, was it fundamentally and traditional ours. A Russian unafraid to secure for ourselves peace, prosperity, and security. A Russia unafraid....that is what I ran on and that was the promises I made. Now as Prime Minister to look to ensure that those promises are kept, to show the world that Russia will not be the quite man in the back of the room. It is time to show the world that Russia has dreams and ambitions, just like any great power. That we have a sphere of influence that shall not be threaten or opposed. I intend to not only strengthen what Russia already has but to expand and take more for the glory of the Russian Empire. Ours is a proud and illustrious history, one built on the backbone of what it truly means to be Russian. Undoubtedly there will be those at home and abroad that will now share in our dream and will attempt to oppose us. I assure you however, that we will not stand for this opposition and indeed, we will crush it and march forward towards the progress and future we all desire. Today not only marks a victory for myself and my own personal desires, nor does it mark a victory for my political party. Today marks a victory for Russia itself for today, the Russian Empire awakens and finds itself ready to show Europe and the world what it truly is capable of. Thank you, God bless you, God bless the Emperor, and God bless the Russian Empire!" --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prime Minister Kondakov's appointment marks the beginning of the White Guard led government. Many feel that with this secure majority in the Duma, the White Guard will make good on many of its campaign promises, something the last coalition government failed on due to political infighting. A sign of the positive impact the White Guard's majority has had on the Empire, the Saint Petersburg's stock exchange saw a significant rise on investments. Many feel this is a clear sign that Russians believe this government will be far more effective than the last. What is left undetermined however, is what issues the new majority will try and push for first. Many believe that the White Guard will focus on increasing government defense spending those others closer to the party believe that there are several international and foreign policy issues that the party will look to tackle first. The Prime Minister himself nor anyone close to him have said anything about cabinet appointees or selections. Prime Minister Kondakov is expect to make those selections soon so as to complete the government. |

NEWS JINGLE Live from studio 7D, in the RBBC Tower in the Moscow International Business District, this is Moscow Nightly News.... Posted Image Good evening everyone, I am Nikita Kulikova and here are our top stories from around the Russian Empire and the world.... Posted Image In a decisive vote in the State Duma, the White Guard backed government has voted in favor with moving the official capital of the Russian Empire to Saint Petersburg. Though the discussion has been brought up many in the past, three times during the last State Duma before elections, the issues has for the most part died on the debate floor. Though it was brought to vote once, it was quickly defeated by the more liberal coalition at the time. However, with the passing of the vote, many see the return to Saint Peters as a restoration of Imperial power in Russia. Saint Petersburg served as the capital of the Russian Empire from 1732 to 1992, when after the second Russian Civil War, the lands of Russia were again united and it was decided that the capital would be moved to the old Soviet capital of Moscow to better facilitate the integration of Soviet Russia back into the Empire. However, a decade later many believe the capital should be returned to Saint Petersburg. Prime Minister Vladimir Kondakov spoke to reports about the vote shortly after the State Duma session.
While the White Guard and government had praising the vote as a victory, opposition leaders are wasting no time in giving their objections to the move. One of the most vocal is Trudovik and minority leader, Vladimir Tatishchev.
The move of the government is expected to take several weeks over the course of the next month. The chambers of the Imperial Assembly will be housed in two different palaces within St. Petersburg, The Imperial State Council will move into the Mariinsky Palace with the State Duma will move into the Tauride Palace. The government will move its offices of the General Staff building just off from the Winter Palace itself. The Imperial Family will remain at their official residence in the Winter Palace and his Imperial Majesty's officials will be moved from the Kremlin palace to the Winter Palace as well, removing the need of the Emperor to make the trip from St. Petersburg to Moscow every week. Official close to the Imperial family however have stated the Emperor does intend to make trips to Moscow and will, along with his family, utilize the Kremlin palace at least once a year if not more. Already government officials with the Foreign Ministry are looking into helping foreign embassies and consulets make the move to Saint Petersburg as well, should they choose to do so. Officials with the transportation ministry are also looking into expanding both the train lines, highways, and air plane travel between Moscow and St. Petersburg to help facilitate what they foresee as a influx of travel between the two cities now. NEWS JINGLE Live from studio 7D, in the RRBC Tower in the Moscow International Business District, this is Moscow Nightly News.... Posted Image Good afternoon everyone, I am Nikita Kulikova .... Posted Image In a press release from Saint Petersburg, Emperor Ivan VIII announced that the Russian Empire was formally recognizing the sovereignty of the Austrian Empire and the legitimacy of the Austrian government currently in power. Formerly a democracy, Austria became an autocratic state following a coupe which was instigated during the wedding of Margrave Adrian von Lebus and Lady Eleanor Hapsburg-Lothringen. Attended by members of the Imperial family, Russia had previously announced outrage over the coupe given that it had put royal lives at risk. However, in his press release, his imperial majesty expressed his forgiveness over the matter and that it was time Russian-Austrian relations moved forward.
His Imperial Majesty's release comes at a time when the Russian Empire is apart of an international investigation into alleged Austrian atrocities in the Balkans. While the press release did speak at length on Russian vision for future relations with Austria, it failed to even comment on the current investigation or whether or not Russia's stance on Austria would change were crimes against Slavs were found to be true. The release however does highlight a decisive change in foreign policy for the Russian Empire. Joining me now is a man at the forefront of this change, his Imperial Majesty's own Minister of Foreign Affairs, Viktor Larionov. Minister Larionov is a long-standing member of the current ruling White Guard party. Minister Larionov thank you for joining us tonight. -Mrs. Kulikova as always it is a pleasure to be on your show. Minister Larionov, we've all by now read his Imperial Majesty's press release. If you could, tell us where it is Russian relations are going with Austria? -Well as his Imperial Majesty's put it in the press release, relations with Austria are...thawing. The situation at the state wedding was regrettable and it is true, Russia was isolating itself from the Austrians for this grievance. However, his Imperial Majesty is a most forgiving man and more importantly is a man that recognizes that Russian most become more aggressive in its foreign policy. The previous government did very little in expanding Russian interests internationally, if anything they barely were able to keep the status quo. What I intend to do under his Imperial Majesty's direction, is move Russia forward. Russia is blessed with the status of a world power. However, if history has shown us anything it is that we live in a world where you are world power one day and a faded memory the next. If we are to continue to remain a world power we must take steps to preserve this. Minister Larionov what steps is the Russian Empire looking to take? -We firstly, we believe it is necessary to thaw relations with the Austrians. Yes there are allegations against them that they are abusing the Slavic people who are under their jurisdiction. However, until we have concrete evidence of this, it seems premature to continue to punish a state for something they may in fact not be doing at all. Does this mean that Russia and Austria are automatically great allies? No, but what it does mean is that a certain dialogue can begin between our two Empires. With the lines of communications open, Russia can ensure certain interests of ours are maintain while also entertaining the requests and concerns of the Austrians. I can assure you though, our foreign policy is not solely built of building relations with the Austrians. No, Russia wishes to push past Europe and begin building relationships with other powers across the globe. We have received reports that the Greater Cape is interested in relations. While we undoubtedly have much that differentiates us from these Republicans, Russia is at least open to seeing where such dialogue could take us. After all, Russia has never colonized Africa and so relations here should be at least amicable. We also seek relations with nations in the Middle East and Asia, two areas that Russia has traditional interests in but has in recent generations lost diplomacy with. Minister Larionov what sort of tone would you say the Russian Empire is trying to set with this new foreign policy? -Well I think the best way to describe our policy, is aggressive. What I mean by this is that we are looking to be far more active than we have appeared in the past. We are certainly very interested in seeking out nations with similar interests and expanding upon these. This not only goes to secure for Russia a healthy source of communication for us, but it will also help the bolster our economy by opening new markets with which to sell Russian goods. The Russian Empire, in one form or another, has existed for generations. We have ebbed and flowed win our foreign polices, with our most recent years seeing more of a resending of influence than a flow. We are going to change that, we are going to ensure that Russian is a move vocal international voice and in particular, stress the values with which make this Empire great. Minister Larionov if I may, there was a recent report in a small newspaper coming out of Saint Petersburg which suggested that Russia's military was undergoing what they were calling a "silent build up." Some have speculated that perhaps Russia was looking to engage in what they coined "aggressive negotiations" in terms of handling external threats and international issues. Can you speak on this report? -Mrs. Kulikova I believe I read that article and quite frankly I must say it was quite poorly written. Look the Russian Empire, like any other nation, can and does undergo at various times military upgrades. If this is not done, any nation would quickly find itself lacking in the basic technology necessary for defending itself in the modern age. Now I am not a member of the Defense Ministry nor am I a office in the central command, so naturally I cannot speak on the specifics of what the military is doing. What I can say for certain is that Russia is not undergoing a military buildup for us in these so-called "aggressive negotiation" tactics. The personnel in my Ministry carry only one weapon, and that is their talent for diplomacy and communication. It will be these weapons and these weapons alone that will push the foreign policy of the Russian Empire forward and preserve ourselves as a leading world nation. Minister Larionov as I said before, it was a pleasure having you and thank you again for speaking with us. -Mrs. Kulikova it was my pleasure, I am happy to speak with the media any time. We are going to pause for a commercial break but when we return we will take a moment to check up on the latest stock numbers from the Saint Petersburg Stock exchange to stick around.... NEWS JINGLE Live from studio 7D, in the RBBC Tower in the Moscow International Business District, this is Russian Nightly News.... Posted Image Good evening everyone, I am Nikita Kulikova and here are our top stories from around the Russian Empire and the world.... Posted Image Today a four day conference of leaders from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the leadership of the Drax Government concluded today in Saint Petersburg. Among the topics of the conference was Drax economic recovery, internal and external defense, and more comprehensive integration of East Draxis into the Russian Empire. Of all the topics of the conference, the question of East Drax integration has proven to get the most interest in public polls both by our own network as well as some non-profits. Most will remember that East Draxis came under the protection of the Russian Empire following the terrorist attacks on Arrakan. That attack plus the bloody civil was that proceeded those attack left much of Draxis in need. Draxis has been partitioned between Russia and Quaon since the terrorist attack and only recently did Russia agree to Drax autonomy and the recognition and autonomy of the Tauric Republic within Draxis. Element within West Draxis have been promoting a new United Draxis, a democratic nation that would encompass all former territories of the Grand Duchy. However, conservative elements within East Draxis have been resistant to the idea of a fully democratic united Draxis, so talks between the West and East have stalled as a result. Due to this, the idea that East Draxis may be fully integrated into the Russian Empire has once again come up for discussion. However, there are several key questions to be answered before such process could begin, if it begins at all. After the conference was official concluded, several individuals were on hand to talk to reporters. Here is what Chairman Alexander Doroshenko, current leader of East Draxis has to say on the confernece, and specifically, the idea of East Drax integration. :::Camera goes to a group of individuals leaving the conference center, Chairman Alexander Doroshenko::: The conference went well, our allies here in the Russian Empire have proven once again that the interest of the Drax people is well within their sphere of concern. We have worked out a comprehensive agreement that will not only allow the Drax economy the capital it needs to continue to rebuild its infrastructure but also will allow us to invest in new small businesses which will infuse the local economies and help to support the average Drax citizen. We have also found common ground on the topic of the defense of Draxis, something that the people of Draxis have been very interested in. We have agreed to allow military advisers into Draxis to help further train the growing Drax defense forces. These forces will continue to guard our borders against terrorist attacks, attacks similar to the one which took our former capital of Arrakan. The Russian Empire has also agreed to sell the military hardware necessary for our defense, at a considerable subsidized price. These things combined make an agreement which will not only ensure Drax prosperity but also the defense of that prosperity for years to come. In truth, these talks could not have gone better for myself and for the Drax people. reporters asks about the possibility of Drax integration To say that the topic did not come up in the conference would not be the truth. Yes the discussion of Drax integration did come up and was discussed at length. Russia and Drax have a long history between them. The house Drax and the House Romanov were united in marriage, not once...but twice. For all intent and purpose, Emperor Ivan has a very legitimate claim to the ducal throne of Draxis. That he has not pushed this issue out of respect to the house of Drax is something to which the Drax people find commendable and has one his imperial majesty much favor. Still the question of Drax's future is an important one and I can assure you and my people, one with which weighs on my mind and those of my aides daily. There are those who believe we should talk more seriously with our brothers in Western Draxis, that we should be allow to reunite our country, and pursue their ideas of a new democratic government. However, there are others that believe democracy will only lead the Drax people back to civil conflict. They believe that Draxis needs another monarch, someone who can hold the Drax nation together. However, regardless of which side believes what, I as chairman of the nation, will do what the will of the people requires of me. With that said, I believe it is safe to say that as the nation continued to heal from the tragedies of the last decade or so, this question will soon need to be answered. :::Camera changes from Chairman Alexander Doroshenko to Prime Minister Vladimir Kondakov::: I think I can echo Chairman Doroshenko's remarks when I say the conference between ourselves was very productive. The Drax people want peace, they want prosperity. These are things the Russian Empire has hoped for their people since the beginning of their own civil war. That we stood by and watched their civil war without taking sides I believe solidifies our position as a bias ally. We want only what the people of East Draxis wants, and if that is integration with the Russian Empire then so be. If it is not, Russia will continue to stand by its allies in whatever direction they choose to take their nation so long as it's not self-destructive. Until the Drax are ready to make their own decision on this matter, Russia will continue to support them and continue to offer our protection. A reporter takes the opportunity to ask the Prime Minister about the situation in Transcaucasia The situation in Transcaucasia is, unfortunate, to say the least. Since the time that Georgia was apart of the Russian Empire, we have taken a keen interest in the development of that region. Since the signing of the treaty of Transcaucasia, we have rectified the transgressions against the Russian Empire by the Dominion which occurred before the Dominion war. We have retained an Ambassador in Tbilisi and we've continued to maintain good communication with the people of Transcaucasia. That being said, I will not shy from stating that the Khalilov administration has strained relations between the Russian Empire and Transcaucasia. While Russia does not condone the assassination of the Chairman or the current breakdown of government, we also respect to treaty for which we signed. We cannot intervene in the situation in Transcaucasia without speaking with the Scythirians. However, we are also taking note that if Georgia devolves into separate states, then it will be in direct violation of the Transcaucasian treaty at which point the treaty must either be upheld or considered void. Whether or not Russian troops will be deployed under either scenario has yet to be fully discussed either by my office or with his imperial majesty at this time. Oh, and while I would like to state that the Russian Empire acknowledges the extended hand offered to us by the Greater Cape, we must decline their offer as we don't feel the Republic entirely understands the situation. That being said, Russia is more than willing to meet an official ambassador from their nation should they wish to speak on that issue or any issue whatsoever. I am sure the Foreign Ministry would love to hear from them. :::Camera changes back to the news room::: Both Chairman Doroshenko and Prime Minister Kondakov were invited to the Winter Palace by his imperial majesty after the conference was official adjourned. Unfortunately the press was not allowed into the meeting. An official aide to his imperial majesty simply stated that the luncheon was held in honor of the Chairman's visit to the imperial capital as well as to show his personal interest in the problems still facing the East Drax people. It is said that the Chairman will be shown around many of the site of Saint Petersburg for the remainder of his visit before taking a train back to the Drax capital. When we return from our commercial break we'll have more on the unfolding crisis in Transcaucasia..... |

NEWS JINGLE Live from studio 7D, in the RBBC Tower in the Moscow International Business District, this is Moscow Nightly News.... Posted Image Good evening everyone, I am Nikita Kulikova and here are our top stories from around the Russian Empire and the world.... Posted Image Our first story takes us to Kursk where newly elected Chairman Marco Doroshenko announced today the results of his nation's most recent referendum. In a stunning 75-25 split, the Drax people have definitively voted to be incorporated into the Russian Empire. Leaders in Saint Petersburg were particularly quite when news broke just yesterday on the historic vote though sources closest to the Prime Minister and his Imperial Majesty state that both men are glad to see the Drax people come to this conclusion. For more on the story, we go to our on the site reporter Sergei Glushkov.
Back in Saint Petersburg another battle is being waged as Prime Minister Vladimir Kondakov and the majority White Guard party seek to restructure and pass a new budgetary plan for the Russian Empire. Leaders in the party have kept no secrets in regard to their budget plans. Top on their list is an increase to the defense budget of which many in the party argue is paramount given the current instability in both the Caucasus as well as Finland. Leaders hope to make these budget increases by cutting other costly budget expenditures though many are not saying exactly what is on the table at this time. This has made many in the opposition extremely nervous, some even becoming increasing vocal about what cuts they simply won't stand for. Though many experts believe that the most likely cuts will come in places like welfare, housing initiatives, and possibly foreign aid packages there are those who also believe that education could be hit. Vladimir Tatishchev of the Trudoviks has become the most outspoken opponents to the idea of cutting education spending. He's been quoted as say that cuts in education would "seriously diminish the Russian Empire's ability to be a leading force in the world on a host of important issues. Science and technology, for example, would be greatly impacted if education programs are cut to make way for new military hardware. Our leaders need to realized that its education spending which allows big defense contractors to develop the type of cutting-edge weaponry they are proposing the by. I, for one, would hate to see the day when we have to outsource our ability to defend ourselves because Russian tanks aren't as good as Porcuian or African tanks." Despite several overtures to leaders in the majority party, they remain silent on exactly where they're hoping to get the money for their new budget. The most definitive answer so far is simply that the Prime Minister and party leaders are looking at all avenues and will take the decision that creates the least impact and won't jeopardize the Russian Empire's ability to stay competitive in all aspects on the world stage. |

NEWS JINGLE Live from studio 7D, in the RBBC Tower in the Moscow International Business District, this is Moscow Nightly News.... Posted Image Good evening everyone, I am Nikita Kulikova and here are our top stories from around the Russian Empire and the world.... Posted Image Big news from Saint Petersburg today as the winter palace announced the engagement of Grand Duchess Sophia Alexeovicha to Crown Prince Ferdinand Zvonimir Habsburg-Lothringen of the Austrian Empire. The Grand Duchess, who is the eldest sister of his Imperial Majesty, Emperor Ivan VIII, has long been the subject of romantic rumors in the Russian Empire. From French Princes to Spanish Dukes, the rumor mill has never been short on idle gossip about the enchanting Grand Duchess but all gossip given to the tabloids has turn up to be just that, idle gossip. Now however, it seems that the mystery of her highnesses love life have been revealed. For more we got to a report from Anna Katkova...
While officially, his Imperial Majesty Emperor Ivan VIII has not released a statement a spokeswoman with the Romanov royal family has stated that his Imperial Majesty and his family could not be more happy for the Grand Duchess. Even his Imperial Majesty's over government has released statement of congratulations to the couple when the news broke earlier today. The Prime Minister's office releasing this statement:
No doubt the statements released were in reference to the turbulent nature of European affairs as of late. The biggest issue being the unfolding Porcuian civil war that many fear will only spread throughout Europe and embroil many of the Republic's neighbors, including Russia, in its fighting. There are also rumors of war brewing between Austria and Marslava, with many fearing that Russia may have to intervene in. However, with this wedding well underway it is uncertain where the Russian Empire would sit on such an issue. Irregardless, what is certainly certain is that this wedding will mark a remarkable increase in public relations between the Russian and Austrian Empires. Undoubtedly the two powers in continental Europe will grow closer politically after the wedding that will join the two royal families together and inseparable. |
