Good afternoon and thank you all for joining us here today at Invisoft. We are proud to announce the development on a radically new internet system, that will provide millions within the Empire a faster way to stay connected. The Extranet, as we have label it, is broadband access to a self-contained "internet" via electrical wiring. Access will be as easy to use as plugging in a toaster.

With little effort, any building or home within Russia can now easily be converted to have full access to our Extranet. As a self-contained virtual realm, the extranet and all information contained within it will be solely accessible to only the Russian Empire, allowing Russia to maintain a respectable level to ensure false information and other damaging images, information, and video don't leak out into the general public and corrupt our youth.

The technology is possible by feeding low-power radio signals over power lines. A Extranet modem pluged into a regular electrical outlet, receives the radio signals from power lines and converts them into a digital Extranet connection. Though we are still working on a agreement within the government, we hope to, in the next few years, equip all power lines within the Empire with this new technology allowing anyone with an Extranet modem to pug-in anywhere in the Empire and get connected.

Now are there any questions?...

*Screen transition back to the new room with host Aleksandra Stasov

Invisoft told reporters that the modem required by the public to access this new system, they hope, will be paid for by the government, allowing everyone the technology. A small fee however will be associated with your electric build to fit the cost of access.

When we return from the break, we'll look at the latest numbers from the stock exchanged....

Good evening everyone I am Aleksandra Stasov and here is the news from around the Empire. It has been several days since the sudden announcement of Russia's unconditional surrender to Middle Eastern forces in the war in Georgia. The Tsar, who has defended the war several times in the Federal Assembly as a "stand against the evils of the world" surprised millions with his declaration of surrender, presented to the world and the Federal Assembly by Premier Konstantin Tatlin.

The announcement was greeted by some as a end to the senseless bloodshed in the Middle East. However, thousands poured out yesterday in strong protest to the decision the surrender, calling the act a "betrayal to the Empire and the Russian people."

National Nightly News reporter Konstantin Altov was at Red Square during the this most blatant display of Russian opinions against the Tsar.

The scene is anything but flattering to the Tsar who only one day ago announce globally, Russia's surrender to Middle Eastern powers over Georgia. In response thousands of angry Russians have flooded red square as a show of disapproval to the Tsar decision and the Federal Assembly's approval.

"We were prepared to take this war to the end" said Dmitri Shchusev a shopkeeper from Moscow. "I sent my son off to war, and though like any father I feared for his life, I knew that he was doing what he believed in, what we all believed in. We wanted to preserve our ties with Georgia, and defend our right, to the death if need be, to be connected together through the Imperial government."

Certainly if this crowd is any indication, the soldiers who come home from Georgia will certainly receive a hero's welcome as no one here believed they have failed. Russian Military command has recently said that soldiers will be coming home as early as Friday of this week, with the last of Russian's armed forces arriving sometime next week. For National Nightly News, I'm Konstantin Altov

*Screen transition back to the National Nightly News, news desk*

Recently I had the chance to sit down with Foreign Minister Nikolay Larionov and when asked about the public response, he said quote:

Minister Larionov

The people must realize that Georgia was a delicate subject for the Empire. Our sons and daughters fought bravely for the Georgia's right to exist within the Greater Russian Empire. However, the Middle East coalition was simply far too great a force to be easily won. At best, has we continued on with the war, we could have made a stand far after losing tremendous ground in Georgia. We would have been locked into a never ending defense war, one of which we don't believe we could have continued indefinitely."

Shortly after our interview, we received a message from Yuri Vlsov, Chief Presiding Officer of the State Duma who had this to say about Foreign Minister Larionov's statement:

Chief Presiding Officer Vlsov

"I will agree with Minister Larionov's statement that Russia could not sustain the war in Georgia. However, the reasons for this are not because of overwhelming enemy troops. I would like to officially announce through this broadcast my investigation into corruption with Premier Tatlin and the National Socialist Party's administration within the Federation Council..

Though Chief Presiding Officer Vlsov would not elaborate on the circumstances of the investigation or the charges brought against the party and the Premier, he did say that formal charges would be released by the end of the week. We here at National Nightly News will certainly keep you updated on these events as more information is made available.

When we return from the break, we'll look at the latest scores from National sports...

OOC: She should be, if I'm correct she's been named as one of the top 100 hottest people on the planet by a few magazines. She's actually a French news anchor I found when looking for someone's photo to use. I figured she'd be able to keep Russia and perhaps the world's attention when it came to our news :P

Good evening everyone I am Aleksandra Stasov and here is the news from around the Empire. Citizens from around the Empire were shocked today to learn on our morning broadcast that during the night, hundreds of arrests were made against politicians of the National Socialist Party. The arrests, which were carried out by the newly reorganized Streltsy, took most of the night with men and women literally being taken out of their beds.

Many neighbors grew alarmed by these events and many more were left wondering the cause of these events. They would have their answers by 8am sharp this morning as an early news conference was called at the Kremlin, within the halls of the Imperial State Court. There, Chief Justice Maria Kabaeva and the other four Associate Chief Justices of the Collegium of Judges' Presiding Council, Chief Presiding Officer Yuri Vlsov and Chairpersons:Vasily Dolgorukov, Grigori Potemkin, Ivanovich Osterman, as well as the entire Imperial State Court were on hand.

We will now show you this mornings news conference for those who may have missed it.

*Screen transition to the lavish meeting hall of the Imperial State Court. Prince Orlov stand at a podium and address the news crowd*

Good Morning and thank you for coming on such short notice. The Imperial State Court, in session with the Presiding officer and chairmen of the State Duma as well as the Chief Justice and Associate Chief Justices of the Collegium of Judges for the Imperial Supreme Court have called this conference to inform the public of a grave scandal that has no doubt cost the government millions and the nations millions of Russian lives.

It has, through a thorough investigation, come to light that the Federation Council, held currently by the National Socialist Party, as misused government funds for their own purposes and cost Russia the Georgian war. In our two-hundred page report, we bring to light that the Federation Council, under the leadership of Premier Konstantin Tatlin and the National Socialist Party used money of the treasury that was to be used for military spending to continue the defense of Georgia, for their own personal use. Though I will not go into detail as to what the Federation Council spent the billions of rubles on, I can assure you it is all in our report.

Upon discovering this scandal, we the Imperial State Council in partnership with the State Duma, have filed charges against the National Socialist Party for counts of embezzlement of imperial funds as well as forager, all of which are of such severity that they fall under terms of treason. Therefore last night, under a direct order from the Tsar himself, the newly reformed Streltsy carried out the arrests of all senior members of the National Socialists party as well as other members believed to be in connection with this crime.

As of 8am this morning the party as been outlawed from all political primaries and elections around the Empire as well as being bad from any public rallies. Trials will be held at once to determine how deep the connections go within the party as to who help perpetrate this horrendous crime. If convicted, each member of the National Socialist Party will face a life sentence to Novaya where they will spend the rest of their lives. Their assets will be seized, their records will be destroyed, and their families will be exiled to the Russian Caribbean indefinitely.

As for the Federal Assembly, the Imperial State Court in partnership with the State Duma will begin to draft new amendments to the Imperial Constitution that will allow the Imperial State Court to take the duties of the Federation Council, allowing it to become the upper house of the Federal Assembly. Until such time as those amendments are ratified, both the Imperial State Court and the State Duma will exercise the power of the Federation Council together.

As such, the Imperial State Court, through an agreement with the State Duma, has elected Prince Boris Ribbenzoph IV to become first Prime Minister of the Russian Empire, replacing the office of Premiership once held within the Federation Council. Prince Ribbenzoph is one of our senior members of the Imperial State Court, as well as a accomplished politician and uncle to the Tsar. We are highly confident that despite his age, Prince Ribbenzoph will be able to carry the Empire into a new golden age. Further appointments to the other various departments of the Federation Council will come soon after our two houses have had time to discuss the matter further in joint session.

Are there any questions?.....
*Screen transitions back to the news room*

Following this mornings announcement by Prince Orlov, several thousand Russians took to the streets in protest against the National Socialist Party's actions that cost Russia the war. Though no one war injured, the property of several prominent members were trashed while many more took to storming the Kremlin dungeon where the party members are being held. KGB officers in coordination with the newly reformed Streltsy were able to hold off the crowds using tear gas and other non-violent weapons.

Many Russians have already written in to our online forums saying that they wish the party members to get the death penalty for what they've done. Currently the Russian Empire does not have a death penalty, but instead life imprisonment without parroll on the islands of Novaya Zemlya, with property and assets being seize by the government and their records erased. Because under Russian law, Russians who break high-profile crimes such as this automatically forfiet their "human rights," the environment in the prisons on Novaya Zemlya are reported to be some of the most inhumane places in the world.

A court date for the party has not yet been released to the public and sighting today's protests, some officials have yet to comment on whether the date will be made public or not.

In other news today....

Tsar Paul Romanov II, recently restored to the throne of Moscow, announced today a major victory against what he calls "the forces of evil." In a live news conference held in the Kremlin here in Moscow the Tsar told the nation that a victory over the Dominion forces had been achieved, one of the first victories the world has seen against the rising global Empire. This relieved thousands who feared the appearance of Dominion warships in the St. Petersburg harbor meant that the global Empire had at last turn its attention of Russia.

Though he refused to release the entire story, as some sensitive details are classified for the safety of those invovled, the Tsar did explain in good detail the events that unfolded just one day ago. Apparently a Dominion fleet originating from Eleytheria in North America entered the Baltic with an expressed destination of St. Petersburg. When confronted by the Russian Baltic Fleet along side a number of other allies whom also expressed concern of the fleets presence in the Baltic, the Dominion fleet resorted to aggressive tactics. The Imperial fleet along side the allies responded in kind and a stand off near the coast of the Russian Estonian coastline was made.

After a fierce battle between the fleets the Imperial fleet along side the allies gained the upper hand and force the Dominion fleet to surrender. Enemy soldiers and sailors were detained and the fleet returned to St. Petersburg victorious. The enemy ships brought back by the Russians are in the words of the Tsar the "spoils of war." an interesting choice of words since the Empire has not as of yet declared war on any single state within the Dominion nor on the global Empire itself. Still as the Tsar works to reconstruct his government and flush out the final remnants of political enemies, many aids close to the Tsar reveal that such a action is being considered.

The Tsar did say for sure that "the time to act is fast in approaching" and that "the Russian Empire cannot and will not turn a blind eye to the turmoil of the world forever. As an Empire that considers itself a global citizen that is concerned with the troubles of others, it would be out of character not to listen to the pleas of help." Many analysts have already jumped on the quotes as being direct attacks against the Dominion and open mouth threats. Others say that it is directed to those nations resisting Dominion influence, telling them that the Empire is readying itself to give aid and support where possible. The Tsar himself declined direct questions on whether or not the Empire would go to war again, so soon after the end of the civil war. The Tsar would only say that he and his government would be considering all avenues as they looked towards the future.

We're going to take a quick break but when we return we'll look at how one neighborhood is pushing forward and rebuilding what was lost in the civil war.

Good evening everyone I am Vera Jovovich, Aleksandra Stasov has the night off. Here are our top stories from Russia and around the Empire.

Today Tsar Paul Romanov II gave another public address stating the progress of the war against the Dominion. He spoke highly of the men and women sacrificing their own lives for the freedoms of all both in Russia and throughout Europe. Most notably he made mention of several high ranking officers whose masterful tactics at the Vistula allow Russian forces to break through the Dominion stalemate and finally make the Konoshian borders. Overall he was greatly pleased with the success the Empire and other coalition forces are having throughout Europe and has expressed his greatest desire to see an end to the bloodshed.

Perhaps as an answer to calls from certainly political figures within his majesty's government, the Tsar also touched in great length the programs he hopes to initiate at the end of the war, the compensate for soldiers returning home. Educational programs to be provided by the Empire will help drafted soldiers to get the education they were denied when drafted and allow them to again integrate themselves back into society. Fully paid for by the Empire, the program would allow drafted individuals the receive a four-year education from one of the many colleges and universities throughout the Empire. Also, for those soldiers killed in the line of duty, the Empire will also be instituting a program of compensation for the families.

Soldier married and with children, will have a benefits package left to their family to see to the basic needs of their dependents such as food, water, housings, clothing, etc. Children of a deceased soldier will also be eligible to apply for the education program and receive the same benefits their parent would have received, a paid four years of education at the collegial institution of their choice. Soldiers not leaving behind a family of their own, have a separate benefits package to be left to a recipient of their choosing though it is mostly meant for their parents or siblings.

All programs, the Tsar mention, are to serve as a symbol of appreciation to the soldiers for their hard work, sacrifice, and dedication to the protection of the Empire and its allies. The Tsar and his government reaffirms their dedication to providing for those men and women, the sons and daughters of the Empire, with the help and assistance they need as thanks for the work they have done.

In other news today, anti-dominion protests hit red square again today. Signs against Chancellor Gassel and the rest of the Dominion hierarchy were post all through Moscow's famous square and speakers took to the stage to speak out against what they call the words greatest evil. It was a mostly peaceful protest against the every growing Empire of evil. Most speakers discussed the economic, environmental, and cultural threat the Dominion poses as it continues to encompass more and more of the world. They also took several moments of silence in honor of freedom fighters around the world. Cries of thanks and support were raised for Coalition nations as well as foreign nations such as the Confederate States of America and Ulgania for their continued fight against Gassel's evil. Officers were on hand to ensure the protests did not take a turn for the worst.

When we come back from our break, we'll take a look at the closing numbers of the Moscow Stock market exchange...

Good evening and thnak you for joining us I am Vera Jovovich. Here are our top stories from Russia and around the Empire.

Today the Chief Presiding Officer Yuri Vlsov talked with reporters on the Imperial State Duma's progress on creating a comprehensive new program for the health care and rehabilitation of soldiers wounded in the Dominion Wars. No other war in the history of the nation, much less the world, cost the number of soldiers as did the Dominion Wars. Several hundred thousand Russian soldiers are currently in the rehabilitation programs, the highest number the system has ever seen at one time. These high numbers have begun to stress the system which was originally designed to handle numbers far fewer that what it is currently trying to support. It was for this reason that the Deputies within the Imperial State Duma began drafting new legislation that would request the Tsar to dedicate more funding for the healthcare program as well as the addition of several new programs all designed to help support the massive flow of the soldiers and ensure the health and rehabilitation of Russia's bravest.

Posted Image

"These men and women risked life and limb to protect us back here at home" said Chief Presiding Officer Vlsov, "and for an unfortunate many, limbs were exactly what these brave individuals risked to ensure the fall of Zapht and the destruction of the Dominion. Perhaps crude to be so blunt, the fact of the matter is we have no true idea what these individuals will be going through in the years to come. The Dominion employed some of the most fierce and detestable strategies in their war of global domination, not the mention the poisons and other gases that we may only see damage in the future. That is why we must develop programs and appropriate the money now so that these honorable individuals can get the attnetion and care they need now as well as in the future. We owe it to these soldiers for their fearless fight for the freedom we now enjoy today."

Supporters of the measures believe that the decision is clear cut, continuing to advocate that these military personnel deserve the best of care that the government can fund. However, critics of the measures say that although they believe the military deserves good healthcare coverage, they state that the amount of funds that are current proposals require will send the Empire into a deeper deficit than the Dominion War has already. The Empire already sits in a 2.5 trillion dollar deficit due to war funds pushed through the legislature by the Tsar in order to help win the war in Europe alone. That doesn't account for the billions the Empire has already appropriated for relief and reconstruction efforts across Europe and around the world. These critics believe that the current proposals have room for reform to bring the costs down and make the programs more manageable without having to raise the deficit for future Russian generations to have to pay.

Despite opposition to the proposals, Chief Presiding Officer Vlsov still has a firm belief that the much needed money and programs will pass through so that this much needed help will get to the military personnel and their families who need it most. According to Imperial State Duma schedules, debate on the issue will be taken to the floor as early as tomorrow.

Good evening and thank you for joining us I am Vera Jovovich. Here are our top stories from Russia and around the Empire.

Last night newly crowned Tsar Alexei Paulovich Romanov II gave his first televised speech to Russia and cross the Empire in the yearly Imperial Address. In his opening statements Tsar Alexei spoke at great length on the accomplishments of the old administration under his father's leadership. He reminded the nation of his father's many economic and social reforms which, during the early days of the Empire helped to form the bedrock with which today's Russia has survived. Tsar Alexei spoke of the great diplomat that his father became over the course of his time on the throne and how Russia now had many allies both in Europe and across the world because of his father. He even spoke of his father's heroism both in the civil war to free not only himself but also the nation from the Tyrannical rule of the traitor Felix Yusupov but also his commanding leadership of the Russian armies during the Dominion wars. The Tsar even gave pause to a moment of silence to remember the more than 2 million soldiers who died in the war against the Dominion, remarking afterward that the brave sacrifices of those who survived and those who did not, would never be forgotten. That the Empire would constantly strive to maintain the peace, freedom, and prosperity these soldiers fought so hard to obtain. Not only in Europe but across the globe so that the Tsar's generation, and those who follow will know not the personal hardships and terror that these individuals endured during the war.

Following these opening remarks the Tsar turned his attention to his own administration. Tsar Alexei spoke honestly with the Russian people. It will not be an easy task to preserve all the gifts that the soldiers and armies of the Dominion Wars fought to give us in this generation. We stand in this new age with many perils, many problems, and many difficulties to overcome as we look forward to the future. While we move on into the new era we move with an economy geared for war. Factories during the Dominion were worked around the clock to produce the weapons capable of bringing down the tyrannical empire down. However, now that we are at peace this economy must now be made to make adjustments and we must be there to guide it so that as we adjust and bring the Russian Empire back to a peacetime economy we do so with as little jobless as is possible. For if we fail, this Empire like many other nations across Europe and the world will face economic troubles the likes of which have never been seen before by humankind. On the Domestic front, we have soldiers returning from war that will need not only our deepest thanks but also our firmest show of support and help. These men were conscripted at ages unheard of in previous times but necessary in the age of the Dominion. They will be coming back and looking to start their own families but to do so they will need jobs, homes, and healthcare. It will be this government's duty to provide all three, with healthcare our strongest priority so that these men will receive the best attention for both their physical and mental war wounds.

Then there are the displaced, which at the last estimate I received has reached into the billions world wide. These are not only the people the Dominion drove from their homes or forced to flee in hopes of escaping Dominion tyranny but also Dominion soldiers themselves. From all walks of life, they have been sent halfway across the world, millions of miles from home with little way of getting back. Though I know it is difficult to forgive individuals for the atrocities that they have committed, we must not forget that our God, the righteous God is also a forgiving god. Yes these soldiers committed sins, yes they killed millions, but no they were not the masterminds. We defeated the masterminds of the Dominion, brought to justice those individuals who orchestrated the crimes these soldiers physically committed. They, like our own soldiers, have endured great personal sacrifices in the name of a government they were born to serve and protect. We cannot turn our backs on these soldiers for if we do, we dare create a minority which could one day rise again to threaten our peace. Instead we must give these soldiers homes, and healthcare including programs to show them the atrocities of their former governments and help them to realize the true path of peace. We will put these men and woman to work in the projects being created across Europe to rebuild all that was lost from the war. Thus not only will we be creating jobs for the displaced, but in doing so we will also be giving these individuals the chance to repent for the damage they have committed. For those too dangerous to release into society, they will remain behind bars to serve out sentence until the day they die, as is the law of the Russian Empire.

Tsar Alexei went on to discuss other such reforms he hopes to undertake during the first few years of his reign, touching of such subjects as better education, a stronger more cost-effective military, and broader social freedoms. He concluded his speech with an announcement many had been waiting for since the Tsar was crowned, and that was his royal decree dissolving the former government of his father, Tsar Paul Georgovich Romanov II of which he inherited after his coronation and wedding. He gave long and supportive remarks to the nobles that served his father and himself briefly within the Imperial State Court. He went down the list of Ministers, congratulating each of their lifetime of serve under his father and remarking on their long lasting accomplishments that, in his words, have gone far to build the Russian Empire into the strong nation it is today. It was hoped by many in attendance that the Tsar would already have his new court in mind however, Tsar Alexei announced only his new choice for Prime Minister. Boris Ribbenzoph V, son of Tsar Paul Romanov II's Prime Minister. This announcement came as little surprise given that young Boris as served in the Prime Minister's office as one of his father's top advisers. Boris V was seated near the Tsar and rose to give a few basic remarks. I am overjoyed and honored to take the position of Prime Minister within the Imperial Court of Russia. I look forward to working with my cousin and Tsar, Alexei on the issues that the Russian Empire faces. I know that under his leadership this Empire will face these challenges ahead and overcome them, continuing the prosper just as it has under the leadership of his father. Under Russian Imperial Law, the Tsar has one month from the time he officially dissolves a government to appoint new ministers to the Imperial Court. Also, under law, the State Duma is also officially dissolved and the government has one month to prepare elections for a new body.

When we come back, we take a look at the Empire's efforts to rebuild and expand the Panama Canal and what that means for Russian citizens in the Krais of Hispania Ulterior....

Good evening everyone I am Vera Jovovich. Here are our top stories from Russia and around the Empire.

Tsar Alexei Paulovich Romanov II announced today that the Russian Empire would be instituting a mandatory draft. Starting next month, males age 18-25 will be required by law to sign up for military service within either the army, navy, or air force. The move, according the Tsar, was a necessary strategy to rebuild armed forces numbers after the devastating loses the Empire took while combating the Dominion both in Europe and abroad. This mandatory draft also extends outside the borders of Russia proper, meaning that Spanish Barcelonians, Panamanians, and all other subject within the greater Empire, 18-25 years of age will be required to sign up for military service. Restriction however, will bar non-Russian enlistees from elite special forces training as well as higher level officer work at least outside of their home territory.

However, the Tsar wants to make sure that citizens understand that the Empire would not ask so much from its youth without giving back as well. Enlistees into the military will serve a two year service, during which time the enlistees will not only undergo training and deployment, but also be given the opportunity to study and receive a two-year college degree. Degree programs will range for technical training to basic-study programs soldiers can use after their service to en-roll in four year institutions. In a press conference, the Tsar had this to say: "The youth of the Empire are being made to give up two years of their life. The Empire will make sure that these two years are not in vain. Not only will they be giving invaluable service to the Empire, but they will also be gaining two-year degrees they can use towards employment after their service term or use to further their education in more traditional four-year institutions.". The Empire expect citizens to register with their local military recruiting station within the three week grace period. Those failing to register will be subject to arrest for failure to obey the law.

In other news, a big announcement was made from the Invisoft Corporation. In a press conference held at corporate headquarters longtime CEO Leonid Mikhalkov announced the release of the highly anticipated Z station gaming console. Marketed as being the new revolution in home gaming technology, the Z station will employ major features that will include astonishing multimedia capabilities, connectivity with a unified online gaming service, the Z Network, and its use of a high-definition optical disc format, Blu-ray Disc, as its primary storage medium. The Z station will also be the first Blu-ray 2.0-compliant Blu-ray player on the market. Development of the Z station was announced a year before the start of Empire's involvement in the Dominion Wars. Software and hardware requirements from the military on Invisoft put the development of the Z station on hold as war efforts became the company's primary focus.

Posted Image

In the pres conference, CEO Mikhalkov had this to say: "We have this thing on our shelf for sometime for sometime collecting dusk. We've re-evaluated the system, made improvements we couldn't have dream of before the war, and are ready to put it in homes for people's entertainment pleasure." Tsar Alexei in a separate meeting, when asked about the release of the Z station had this to say: "I look forward to the release of this new gaming system. If initial analysis is correct, this Z station will be a major boost to the economy both in creating new employment at local retail outlets as well as getting Russian citizens spending again." Economists believe the Z station, along with other products soon to be released by other companies such as Moscovy Motors, could very well be the economic boost the Empire needs to avert the economic recession many believe the country continues to teeter on.

The Imperial Russian Postal Service announced today that it has taken the final steps to become the sole email service provider for the Russian Empire. In an age where electronic mail has greatly decreased the volume of more traditional mail to be handled, the Postal Service has felt a great impact and many feared it would lead to severe job cuts and drastically raise the country's unemployed. However, instead of fading into an obsolete manner the post has instead embraced the technological age. Director of the Imperial Russian Postal Service, Post Master Ivan Kazminov said in an interview that with the advent of the Extranet, every home in the greater Russian Empire has been "link" to cyberspace. The Imperial Russian Postal Service thus recognized a unique opportunity to create a virtual postal network to match to physical network they already have setup throughout the Empire.

So what does this men for the citizens of the Russian Empire? Backed by government regulations, every home will be required to have an email account with the Postal Service. Your Email Address will coordinate with the address of your home. For example, should you live at 443 Romanov Boulevard, your email would be: 443RomanovBoulevard@IRPS.gov.iru. Though the email account itself is free, some service fee are required depending on what exactly it is you send through email. If you send a typed document through email that is only one page long, then the transmission is free. Typed documents that are over one page in length incur a postal fee of 10 kopeks per page. Emails that involve images of any kind that are either apart of the email body or are added as an attached file incur a postal fee of 1 Ruble per image. Finally, audio and/or video files either apart of the email body or added as an attached file file incur a postal fee of 5 rubles per file. Fees can either be credited to an account the user can pay at the end of the month or be paid on the spot via electronic transaction.

While current government law allows for postal companies to exist both in the public and private sectors, the current regulations regarding email stipulate that it will be purely a public domain. Companies currently operating free or low-cost email services will be forced to shutdown their operations. A six month grace period has been announced by the government to allow these companies time to help facilitate the transition with their costumers. The Postal Service will primarily fun this new program through advertisement slots to be sold to the private sector, with Imperial funding funding the rest. While some opposition to this move has risen, primarily from current email provider companies, the general consensus over the change is positive. Most Master Kazminov hopes that the first emails to be sent from these password protect accounts will occur sometime early next week.

News from the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg has confirmed today that Tsaritsa Atia Alexandervicha Drax Romanova is now expecting with the royal family's first birth. Already a few months into the pregnancy, it is rumored that her majesty is carrying twins, although no official doctor's report or statement from the government has been released. Well into their marriage so far, it has been the table-side talk of the entire Empire for many months now as to whether or not the royal couple would have children. Why his majesty the Tsar has stated on several occasions both officially and unofficially that he did indeed intend to have children, some rumors were abound that the couple were not physically able to have children due to complications. However, with doctor reports to back up the story, now made official by the Kremlin, said rumors can be laid to rest as the Tsaritsa is very much pregnant.

In a small press conference held at the Winter Palace, his majesty Tsar Alexei II had this to say: "We are very pleased to announce our first pregnancy as a royal couple. While I certainly have my hopes that it shall be a boy and heir to my throne, I will welcome any child God permits me to have and be thankful, especially so long as it is healthy. My old regret is that at the moment, we cannot share this great news with the entire House of Drax. Developments in the country remain the same and while I cannot and do not wish to speak of such things at this time, I can say to the inquiring minds that Russia will not stay silent over the recent events that have unfolded within our friend and neighbor's borders. Thank you.

The situation in Drax is still tense, following the assassination of longtime leader, Grand Duke Alexander Drax. A lifelong friend of now Grand Duke Paul II, the two leaders have since almost the beginning of the second Russian Empire, had a unique friendship between them. Likewise the two nations have grown and prospered as friendly neighbors and allies. The news of Alexander Drax's death at the hands of what the Russian Empire is calling "terrorists" was a great shock to the Romanov family and the greater Empire. Insiders in the Kremlin are saying that the Russian Empire may soon apply an economic blockade of Drax, in the hopes of weakening whatever sphere of influence the terrorists have over the Drax government that is currently in chaos following the assassination. Others feel the blockade will be a purely travel blockade, designed to limiting the movement of people in and out of Drax until the situation has better assessed and taken care of.

OOC:  glad to know someone actually looks through what I've created. Eventually, I hope to have well developed articles on businesses in all my countries, Russia just came up first because of a desire to change a couple of the business names, especially before I started that RP with DW. Then it turned into making new logos, extending articles, so on and so forth :P

If I can help with making logos, just PM me. The logos were the most fun part the whole process and the new RRBC logo did turn out well, I just originally didn't want the black background but then I found the white disappeared when I put it up with no background, so the black circle was my only solution at the time. I may change it again, but overall I'm happy with the process and I think ED would be proud of my process with gimp :D

Good evening everyone I am Vera Jovovich. Here are our top stories from Russia and around the Empire.

Patriarch Tikhon II is coming back from a week long good-will trip to the West Indies. The Patriarch of Moscow and All the Russias, Tikhon II made his first visit to Russian Orthodox Christians outside the Russian Empire. The aging Patriarch, who has never traveled outside of the Russian Empire, made a week-long tour of the West Indies. The unprecedented trip was the churches efforts to help spread Orthodox Christianity throughout the isles as well as bridge the gap between the growing number of Orthodox Christians and the Genesian Catholics, Jews, Hindu, and Muslims also in the islands. After meeting with Metropolitan Archbishop Carlos José Gómez Boza-Masvidal, top church official within the Orthodox church in the West Indies, the Patriarch made a proper trip of all major islands of the West Indies before returning to Cuba where he hosted a special conference of religious leaders in the West Indies. The conference is reported as have gone well, with the Patriarch making good ground between officials of the other faiths. The religious officials made agreements of peaceful coexistences as well as steering activities gear towards the advancement of all people within the isles and not just practitioner of their faith at the exclusion of all others. While religious differences remain, Patriarch Tikhon said after the conference that he was pleased with the progress than made on non-religious topics.

Returning from the new world, the Patriarch will be making a brief stop in Catalonia to meet with the growing members of the Orthodox Church there. Similar to the situation in the West Indies, Catalonia is a primarily Genesian Catholic territory but since coming under the jurisdiction of the Russian Empire, Orthodox influence as emerged. What helps the Orthodox church in Catalonia is the proximity of the Roman Empire as influence from the Romans has reached the Catalans. Yet many native Catalans do hold a deep rooted grudge against the Roman despite Russia's best efforts to ease tension between the two groups. The result of this tension with the Roman Empire is a strong connection with the Genesian Catholic Church. Patriarch Tikhon hopes that he will be able to speak with Catholic officials and find some common ground that will allow both churches to help establish and maintain peace. However, some official don't believe the Patriarch's trip to Catalonia will be as successful as his trip to the West Indies. Perhaps the biggest concern for church officials is the Patriarch's safety while abroad. Officials seem as concerned about the Patriarch's well-being in Catalonia as they were with him in the West Indies. Security has of course been heightened in Catalonia and shall remain so for the duration of the Patriarch's stay, which is said to be the next three days.

Governor Vladimir Makarov, former Russian General of the Iberian Campaigns in the Dominion Wars who was appointed Governor by the Tsar after having served as military governor while Catalonia was under martial law, stated to the press before the Patriarch's arrival that he intended his visit to go as well in Catalonia as it did in the West Indies.

Video Interview with Governor Makarov

I intend to ensure the Patriarch's safety personally for the next three days that he is with us. I am personally excited to meet with Patrairch Tikhon and I can only hope that he enjoys his stay with us. I am fully aware of the tension between the Orthodox and Genesian community here in Catalonia. Just as we are making ground politically, I can only hope that the same can soon be said when it comes to religion. After all, Tsar Alexei has expressed to me personally his deepest desire to see peace in all corners of the Russian Empire.

Patriarch Tikhon II, as I've said, will stay in Catalonia for the next three days and will then leave to finally return home here in Moscow. His return home will mark the end of Patriarch Tikhon's historic first trip outside of Russia proper and while many believe this shall be the only trip the aging Patriarch shall make, some officials have mentioned a possible trip to the embattled Georgian state to meeting with the remaining Orthodox there. No official trip has been announced by the church however, and many are doubtful the Military Republic would allow the Patriarch to enter. Given hostilities that have reportedly erupted in Georgia in recent weeks now makes the likelihood of a trip for the Patriarch even less likely to happen. Should the Patriarch actually make the trip to Georgia, it shall also be historic as it will be the first time an official of any kind from the Empire has gone to Georgia since the Georgian War.

Good evening everyone I am Vera Jovovich. Here are our top stories from Russia and around the Empire.

Riots today broke out in the streets of Moscow in protest over the recent news that Tsar Alexei Romanov II agreed to recognizing the independence of the West Indies Krais amid international pressure. Originally organized as a peaceful protest against the Tsar and his administration, the gather soon grew out of control as hundreds filled the streets in protest. Out of a fear that the growing number of citizens in the streets would cause damage to public property or would become a danger to harmless by-standers, law enforcement officers were brought in to maintain the peace. Their presence sparked violence by the gathered crowd and before long pure chaos broke out on the streets and more officers were forced in to restore order. As we know it now, some 100 people were injured by protesters and law enforcement officers alike, 5 people have been reported dead.

Posted Image

The original protest was organized by a local non-government organization associated with the Social-Democratic Labor Party or Menshevik party however, officials with the Mensheviks are officially condemning the protests. Before violence broke out in the streets, we had reporters on the ground to talk with some of the participants of the protest and understand exactly why they were speaking out against the Tsar's government.

Protester Interview
We've come out today to protest against Tsar Alexei and his weak government. Under his fatherw we lost Georgia and now under his leadership we're being force to give up the West Indies and Panama. This is outrageous and we're not going to take it anymore. We're the Russian Empire and we deserve a government that's going to stand up for what is rightfully ours! If Tsar Alexei isn't willing to fight for the Russian people and the empire itself, then perhaps the Tsar should abdicate and we should ourselves a Tsar who can run the government the way the people feel it should be run.

These strong words were echoed by several others that were interviewed just minutes before law enforcement officials were on the scene and the riots broke out. Moscow's riot is also not an isolated event, as protests have begun popping up all over the greater empire. Some simply calling for the Tsar to take a stronger hard-line while others are going so far as to call for the Tsar's abdication. Most have remained peaceful protests and political gatherings, however riots have broken out in Tallinn and Tver, no deaths have been reported at this time. Officially, the neither the Imperial Assembly nor the Tsar himself have made any comments on the protests nor on the recent events in the West Indies other than the initial news story released by the Prime Minister. Tsar Alexei himself has left Moscow on the Imperial train back to St. Petersburg to be with Tsaritsa Atia Romanova, who is now within her final months of her pregnancy. The last official report released by the Romanov press official stated that the Tsaritsa is still doing fine and that the babies, twins, are still doing fine.

What exactly the Tsar is goingt to do about the recent riots against his government is still uncertain. Increased law enforcement on the streets of Moscow has been the only visible sign of government action. With the Kremlin silent today, the rest of the Russian Empire and the world is left wondering what is going to happen next.

A spokeswoman for the Romanov family announced today that Tsaritsa Atia Alexandervicha Drax Romanova was rushed to a private hospital in St. Peterburg earlir this morning having gone into labor. Rumors were abound after the Tsaritsa was indeed photographed being rushed from the Winter Palace in the early hours of the morning by the paparazzi. The Tsaritsa, who has been very pregnant for the past couple of months has left the public in eager anticipation as to when exactly her due date was. This information has been a closely guarded secret for the royal family, with no one close to the family speaking on the matter. Even the Tsar himself, who has been asked several times by reporters at the end of many news conferences, has refused to speak on the matter and has many times gone so far as ignore the questions all together. Many site this secrecy both as a security measure for the Tsaritsa and the family's unborn child or children but also given the current sensitivity of the situation. After all, with unknown civil unrest in the Tsaritsa's homeland of Draxis and the recent nuclear attack on Russian soil, the Romanovs had decided to take no chances when it comes to succession of the Romanov line.

While news of her majesty is still slow to come out to the media what we do know is that the royal couple welcomes twins and that both her majesty the Tsaritsa as well as the two children are healthy and doing fine. Given security concerns, it is believed that her majesty and the children will be moved back to the winter palace at the earliest time where the Romanov family believes the best possible security can be provided. At that time the Romanov personal family doctor will take over the care of the Tsaritsa as well as the children. We believe that once the move has been made his majesty, Tsar Alexei will make an official announcement on the birth as well as discussing more details about the Tsaritsa's condition as well as the condition of the children, their sex, and their names.

In other news today, Russian forces in Scandinavia continues to pursue terrorist forces responsible for the nuclear attack on Russian soil....

OOC: Apparently somewhere along the way I miscounted my Russian Ivan's, so there's going to be some confusion. I originally wrote Alexei's brother Ivan as Ivan VIII but I just now realized he should have been Ivan VII. Naturally, Ivan's loss was hard on Alexei so he wishes to honor his brother's memory by naming his heir after him. So Alexei's son is Ivan VIII. I would go back and change all mentions of the old Ivan but honesty I'm not sure where all I mentioned him so I'm just going to try to make due with this explanation.

IC:
The Winter Palace, Saint Petersburg....

It was about 4am when the car rolled into the back entrance of the palace. Cameramen and other paparazzi had been standing out in the cold and the snow for days for this one single moment. They would have had their chance too had the Imperial Guard not forced them to leave just as the car war pulling up to the palace. Exiting the vehicle first was the Tsar, Alexei who then turned around and put his hand in the doorway. A very fragile Atia soon exited and took Alexei's hand as they walked up and into the palace. They were followed by two nursemaids, one with a infant in their arms. The temperature of the palace was beyond toasty, as was the Tsar's orders as he did not want his two new sons to catch a cold from the winter weather outside.

Alexei took Atia straight to their bed chamber where he placed her gently into the cover and made sure she was made utterly comfortable. Kissing her sweetly on her forehead he instructed her to get plenty of rest as the Doctor would no doubt be along to check on her soon. Smiling, Alexei left Atia after he'd dosed off and when to the nursery where he found that both his sons were fast asleep, equally as tired as their mother. He motioned for the nursemaids to leave him to have a private moment with his two new sons and they left the room, telling Alexei they would not go far should he need them. Standing before the two small cribs, Alexei just stared at the two small baby boys as they slept, so innocent and so new to the world around them.

A gentle knock came to the door, so silent it was barely heard by Alexei and did nothing to disturb the boys who still slept. Walking quietly to the door he opened it to find Prince Boris, Alexei's own cousin and Prime Minister standing there with Patriarch Tikhon II. Smiling, he granted both men entry and the three walked back over to the cribs so that Boris and the Patriarch could take their first looks at the two new princes of Russia. In silence the three men sat staring at the two young princes and then Alexei motioned for them to leave. Leaving the nursery in the capable hands of the nursemaids, Alexei took Boris and the Patriarch into his private study and shut the door.

"They are beautiful children your majesty" Said Boris, "they look every bit as healthy and vibrant as I prayed they would be"

"You are too kind Boris" said Alexei, his own voice betraying his emotions to both Boris and the Patriarch.

"Something is grow your majesty" said Tikhon. "This birth should be a moth joyous occasion for you and your family and yet, I cannot help but hear the doubt in your voice."

"I prayed everyday and night during Atia's pregnancy that God would bless my family with a healthy child" said Alexei. "This he has done and for this, I shall and forever be in his service. However, while I cannot doubt that my prayers have been answers I must now questions and wonder why it was that he has bless me with no one heir, but two? You see, I fear now I have what can only be the greatest problem and test left to face as a monarch. I have two heirs of equal right but only one throne with which to give. They are twins, born mere moments apart from one another so how do I deny one over the other for something I feel they equally deserve by birth right?"

Boris looked at Patriarch Tikhon with as deep a puzzled look at Alexei himself had on his face. Both men looked to the old and wise Patriarch for an answer and just as he'd done so many times before in his long life as spiritual leader, he again had one last solution up his sleeve.

"Your majesty I am an aging Patriarch and I feel I life will only continue but for so much longer. Soon God will call for me and with my death, so will Russia need yet another great leader. Allow the church to take one of the two boys at an early age. We shall train him and soon one day he will succeed me as patriarch of Moscow and all the Russias. This should defuse any quarrel that could arise between the two over the throne of Russia."

"You are most wise your excellency" said Alexei. "I shall allow Constantine II to be given to the church. Ivan VIII, whom I have named in memory of my departed brother, shall be named my heir."

Good evening everyone I am Vera Jovovich. Here are our top stories from Russia and around the Empire.

Her majesty, Atia Alexandervicha Drax Romanova was released from the hospital earlier this morning amid much secrecy from the hospital itself and the Romanov family. Her majesty, which arrived back to the Winter Palace sometime in the early hours of the morning, is said to be doing quiet well. The news came from Tsar Alexei II himself, who also announced the welcoming of Tsesarevich Ivan VIII and Tsarevich Constantine II to the royal family. Twins sons, the two newest royals of the Romanov family were born mere minutes apart, Tsesarevich Ivan being born before Tsarevich Constantine.

His majesty the Tsar spoke on how joyous the occasion of their births were for the Romanov family, having only recently lost Ivan Paulovich Romanov VII only a few months ago to assassination. The Tsar spoke candidly on the fact that Tsesarevich Ivan VIII was named in honor of his late brother and that the Tsar felt confident that Ivan was watching over his two sons even now. Given the rather chilly and snowy weather that has swept across most of Russia during this time of the year, the Tsar said that the family would refuse photos for fear of spreading a cold to the two young infants. Tsar Alexei did say that once the Doctor felt more confident over the matter, that select photographers would be allow to take some of the first photos of the new Romanovs.

Good evening everyone I am Vera Jovovich. Here are our top stories from Russia and around the Empire.

Today the Russian Empire flexed its biceps, so the speak, as one of the largest military parade was held through the streets of the Imperial Red Square, in front of the Kremlin, in Moscow.

Posted Image

Hundreds of thousands of military personnel flooded the streets and marched with pride as Imperial flags flew high and the Tsar himself, Alexei Paulovich Romanov II in his private booth and surrounded by his closest military and political advisers, looked on and saluted. The military parade, which had been in the works for several months prior to both the nuclear attack from Hahklallah as well as the current tension in western Europe, brought millions to the street to see their military in force and to show their support. Top military officials at the parade that would speak with the media said that while the parade had been planned months ahead, its timing could not be better to show those states that would-be enemies of the Russian Empire, that it is more than prepared to both defend its allies and itself.

[Footage of the parade]

Posted Image

The world is still a dangerous place despite the fall of Zapht and the collapse of the World Military Dominion. The nuclear destruction of Rzhev showed us this and showed us that a necessity for a strong military is still necessary [testimony from a civilian witness at the parade]. It makes me proud to see the military out in force like this, very thrilling! I feel confident that the Russian Empire and its military will not only make those responsible for Rzhev pay, but ensure that a nuclear attack shall never happen again.

Posted Image

The Russian Empire is looked to by many of our allies to be a strong political and military force in Europe. The nuclear attack jeopardized not only the lives of millions here in the Empire but also our strength with our allies [General Lev Grinin, Director of Personnel, General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Empire]. This parade as well as our sound victory in Hahklallah should go to put aside any worry that the Russian Empire is not militarily prepared to both protect itself and its allies. Furthermore, the Empire is investing millions in updating our missile defense network to ensure that another attack never happens again.

[/End of Parade Footage]

The parade was more than two hours long, during which the Russian public got their first look at the newest military hardware to roll out of military factories here in Russia. While military officials could not give any specifics about these new weapons, they did say that these new military were far more easily massed produced and repairable than any of their foreign counterparts. General Mikhail Lebedev, Chief of the General Staff said and I quote: These new tanks, artillery, and aircraft may not be the most advance pieces of military hardware currently available, they will prove to last-longer and be more easily replenished than any other counter-part currently in operation within foreign nations.

Saint Petersburg:One of Russia's finest statesmen in the recent decade has passed away, Paul Georgovich Romanov II. Tsar Paul Romanov II, the one and only child of Grand Duke Georgiy Mikhailovich Romanov and Grand Duchess Alexia Glücksburg Romanov was born outside of Russia during the latter years of the Soviet Union. When the Iron curtain finally fell in the early 1990s Grand Duke Georgiy Romanov, who was at the time heir to the Russian throne, moved the family back to Russia but settled outside the sphere on influence of the emerging Neo-Roman Empire. A movement centered around the creation of a third Rome in St. Petersburg, the Neo-Roman Empire helped bring the Russian people out of the economic depression that ensued the region after the fall of the communist system. However, it would be Tsar Paul Romanov II and the Russian Renaissance that would renew Russia and the Russian culture.

His reign saw the emergence of the Russian Empire in Europe as a regional diplomatic, military, and economic player. A young man when his father's abdicated his right to the throne and Paul won the support of the people to be crowned Russia's first Tsar in over 106, Tsar Paul Romanov took the throne of Russia with a vision. "It was always my vision and my drive to take the Russia I had inheirited after generations of abuse and misguided leadership an transform her into a global Empire that all other nation's respected and admired." Tsar Paul Romanov II said in an interview two years ago. "Whether or not I achieved my goal I will never know for this is something I suspect historians will argue for years to come. What I do know and something I am humbly pleased with myself it that, while Russia was coming out of the Dominion Wars she was in far better a condition for my son that she was when I received her. I could not ask for more to give to my heir and for this, I am thankful to God." While always pleased of his accomplishments as Tsar, Paul Romanov II always seemed to tear up and grow glumly when the conversation of Georgia came up.

Taken as a colony of the Russian Empire during the middle years of his heir, the territory was eventually lost in what can only be described as the lowest moment of Paul Romanov's reign. "What transpired during the Georgian Wars was perhaps my greatest regret as a leader of the Russian people. Georgians wanted to be apart of the Russian Empire and still do! The Middle Eastern powers had no right to stand against us and or allies should not have been let down the way they were. The Guranburg Peace Accords should never have been signed but at the time, forces behind curtains of deceit forced my hand. I vowed never again and to my credit I never again allowed for such shame to come to Russia." To date no further shame came to Russia until the coupe against the Romanov family by Prince Felix Yusupov II. Running the Romanov family into exile in South America, to Yusupov Regency ruled over the Russian Empire for several years as Yusupov used his then prisoner, Alexei Romonov II as his legitimacy to the throne. Tsar Paul Romonov II would eventually lead loyalist forces agaisnt Yusupov with the help of Draxis and Quaon, liberating the country from the Yusupov dictatorship and restoring Romanov power. This would come only a few years before the Dominion Wars spread to Europe and Tsar Paul II was forced to led to Russian people through yet another horrific war. However, the Dominion Wars would prove to be one of the Tsar's crowning moments as leader of the Russian people.

Seen as a liberator for not only the Russian people but also most of occupied Europe, Tsar Paul Romanov II was one of the leading figures in uniting Europeans against the Dominion threat. After forcing Dominion armies into a stand-still in Europe, Paull II would later go on to lead Russian forces elsewhere in the world and eventually have the Empire in the fight to liberate Asia. With the Dominion threat over, Paul II would led the Russian people into recovery but as a new age dawned on the horizon of the Russian Empire, Paul II recognized that the time had come for a new leadership in Moscow. "I came to realize that as a new world was dawning after the Dominion Wars, it would need new leaders. I viewed myself as a leader of the old generation and thus I came to the conclusion that it was time I stepped down and allowed my son, Alexei to take his place as Tsar. Under Alexei I felt the Russian Empire would see itself into a new and more prosperous future. From what I have seen in my years in retirement, my judgement was not wrong and I have nothing to regret from that decision." Paul II would retire from the Winter Palace and leave the politics of Moscow behind him in what he considered to be his twilight years. With long-time love, Aaline Alexandervicha Ribbenzoph Romanova by his side, Paul II enjoyed what little life he had left.

"My father's passing is an extremely heartbreaking moment for the Romanov Family" said Tsar Alexei II in an official statement to the Russian people. "A statesmen, he did and forever shall have the Russian people first at heart. A beloved husband, his dedication to my mother was unparalleled and only matched by his devotion to the state and the church. A honored father, he is a man for whom I shall forever look up to as inspiration to my own life. I feel the Russian Empire and the Russian people have lost a symbol of their beginnings in this age. May he be forever honored in our prayers and thoughts and let no Russia quickly forget the great man he was." Paul II's body shall lay in state within the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow for a week until funerary arrangements can be made and he can be interned into the Imperial vault.

On behalf of Parliament and the people of Porcu, I would like to extend my personal condolences to the Romanov Family and to the Russian people at the news of the passing of Tsar Paul Georgovich Romanov II. Though our two countries have not always seen eye to eye, Porcuians would like to take the opportunity to stand beside their Russian comrades in honoring a great statesman and leader.

It is the hope of myself, the Porcuian Parliament, and the people of Porcu, that a new era of positive relations may come to fruition between Stockholm and Moscow.

WEDDING ENSURES A RETURN OF THE BAGRATIONI DYNASTY

Saint Petersburg: In a private ceremony attended by only the closest of friends and family, crown Prince George Demetrevich Gruzinsky XIII was wed to Princess Maria Alexandervicha Mukhrani. Both heirs to the strongest claimants of the Bagrationi dynasty and the kingdom of Georgia, the wedding signified the end to a long-standing feud between the Gruzinsky and Mukhrani noble families over rights to the throne. Among those celebrities and friends in attendance of the wedding was Tsar Alexei Paulovich Romanov II, Tsaritsa Atia Alexandervicha Drax Romanova, and there two sons, Tsesarevich: Ivan Alexeovich Romanov VIII and Tsarevich Constantine Alexeovich Romanov II.

"It was a beautiful ceremony and one I was pleased to know that I'd helped see come true" said Tsar Alexei Romanov after the ceremony to the few reporters allowed near the chapel. "Both Prince Demetre III Mukhran-Batoni and Prince Alexander Prince Alexander Bagration-Gruzinsky had legitimate claims to the throne of Georgia. I felt it was my place to find a peaceful solution to their feud so that both families could move forward towards a day when Georgia is a united country again." Prince Demetre III Mukhran-Batoni was elected several years ago by the people of Northern Georgia as their Prince, following the Georgian War. However, a coup against his government forced Prince Demetre to flee the country back to Russia. The Military Republic which replaced Demetre's regime has since claimed Prince Demetre was assassinated and refuses to recognize the Prince as living in Russia. They claim instead that the man in Russia is merely an impersonator, a puppet of the Tsar's regime being used to legitimize any claim Russia may wish to make on Georgia.

Prince Alexander Bagration-Gruzinsky is from another claimant line of the Bagrationi dynasty. After Prince Demetre III was elected Prince of Georgia, Prince Alexander petitioned Tsar Paul Romnaov II to intervene however, given the agreement of the then active Guranburg Peace Accords, the Tsar could not act. Following Prince Demetre's exile, Paul's son, now Tsar Alexei II began to mediate between the two families hoping to find a mutually beneficial solution. It was eventually agreed that Demete's young son at the time, George XIII would marry Alexander's only daughter and heir, Princess Maria. Their wedding marked the end of this long standing feud and, upon the day the couple is with child, the union will create the strongest heir and claimant to the Georgia throne. It has already been agreed by the families and the couple that their first born son will be named Prince David Bagrationi II.

No word has yet been official made by the Northern Georgian state. It is believe that the Military Republic has a banned on Russian television being aired in the country. Recent events in Northern Georgia have taken a turn for the worse as civil unrest has sparked an unofficial civil war between the government and a separatist group, the Sons of Moscow (S.O.M.) that wish to see Georgia united and returned to its union with the Russian Empire. Though the couple mostly stayed away from reporters when they left the chapel they did speak briefly on current Georgian events. "The dictators of Northern Georgia must be stopped. The people must again be freed and united, this is something we both seek to see before the birth of our first child,"

TSARITSA ATIA TO MAKE TWO HISTORIC TRIPS

Saint Petersburg: In an historic first solo trip by any reigning Tsaritsa in Russia's modern time, Tsaritsa Atia Alexandervicha Drax Romanova will be traveling to Barcelona tomorrow for a three day tour of the Catalan Autonomous Okrug. The trip, that has been in the planning stages for almost a year now, will be only a corner stone within the Tsaritsa trip as it was also announced by the royal palace that her majesty will also be making a stop to the ICON headquaters in Toledo, where she plans the hold an international conference.

"I have as of yet, never been outside of the Russian Empire since my marriage and coronation" Tsaritsa Atia told reporters at a private news conference following the announcement. "I feel that there is much that I can do in the name of my husband to help Russia and the greater Empire. I wish to travel to the Catalan Okrug and meet with its people. I wish to see the great cities that are there and speak with there leaders. I especially look forward to the school tours that have been scheduled on my behalf for truly education is important and I wish to personally make sure that these young Catalans are getting only the best that can be offered to them." While the Tsar himself has given no official world on the historic trip, officials and spokesmen for the Tsar have all voice his majesty's approval of the trip. "The Tsar feels that this trip will be good for his wife" said Baron Zakhar Strogonovs, Minister of the Interiors. "Too often we see the Tsaritsa and hear of her, but too few times to actually meet with her. Both feel that this trip will be a positive gesture to show Russians, Catalans, and the greater Empire that the royal family is indeed interested in what the concerns of its people are."

While an outline of her majesty's trip in the Catalan Okrug has been release, no specifics have been given for Tsaritsa Atia own safety. Furthermore, there has been absolutely no word as to the details of the Tsaritsa's trip to Toledo. Officially, the government and the royal palace have only released statements saying that her majesty shall be going to ICON HQ for an international conference that her majesty has personally called for. However, no details have yet been given as to the nature of this conference nor what nations have agreed to attend. While her trip outside of Russia without his majesty the Tsar is historic enough for the Russian history books, to have a sitting Tsaritsa addressed the international community instead of the Tsar himself will forever make Tsaritsa Atia a royal to remember and no doubt set a precedent for other Tsaritsa's to emulate.

ROYAL BIRTH ANNOUNCED

Saint Petersburg:Last night, just before the stroke of midnight, Tsaritsa Atia Alexandervicha Drax Romanova gave birth to the newest member of the royal family within the confines of the winter palace in Saint Petersburg. Tsarevna Sophia Alexeovna Romanova was born at 11:59pm and official statement released by the royal family state that doctors gave the new born a clear bill of health. Tsarvena Sophia becomes the third child of Tsar Alexei and Tsaritsa Atia, behind twins Tsesarevich and heir, Ivan Alexeovich Romanov VIII and Tsarevich Constantine Alexeovich Romanov II. Official statements say that Tsar Alexei was able to make it back to Saint Petersburg via the Imperial Express before the birth.

"The entire birth went well, as well as anyone had expected it would" Dr. Mikhail Diakonov, the royal physician told reporters just shortly after the delivery. "Her majesty is doing well as is the child, who might I say, is a very healthy child at that. We had worried that her majesty's recent trip to Toledo would put stress that was unnecessary for her in this late stage of her pregnancy but as everyone knows, she did just fine. We will monitor both royals for the next 72 hours before we officially release them from doctor care. It merely a precautionary measure to make sure that both adjust well and not because we foresee any complications." His majesty Tsar Alexei Paulovich Romanov II also meet with reporters shortly after the birth, at about 3 am in the morning to answer a few questions. "We are naturally overjoyed at the addition to our family and we fill Sophia will bring us as much joy as Ivan and Constantine have already. I will remain in Saint Petersburg for the next few weeks before returning to Moscow and to the business of the Empire."

Reporters also caught a glimpse of Ivan and Constantine, now five years of age, as the Tsar returned to the confines of the palace. No doubt both royals are eager to welcome their new sister to the family and the world. Earlier in the year, when asked about how large the royal family would get, Tsaritsa Atia commented that she hoped to have a large family. "It is my deepest wish to have as many children as is possible given my age. I'd like Ivan and Constantine to have many siblings for which to grow up with." Unofficial comments made from the palace say that the aging Patriarch of Moscow and All the Russias, Tikhon II, will be making the trip from Moscow to Saint Petersburg to visit with the royal family, along with other officials of the church.
