I would like to play a sery of three planets that are dominated by a human feudal aristocracy, the Notabbili ( the planet is told to be of Italian origins, however nobody knows what " Italian " means . The rest of the society is constitted by autochtone races ( the Kaci, that are similar to very intelligent apes ) and humans that have fallen to misery, beeing captured or having migrated clandestinatly . The capital planet is prevalently desertic and is currently ruled by the family of Faleri Orsini, led by the Count Damiano Faleri-Orsini . The technology has the same level of the other planets but is accessible only to noblemen, while communers are condemmned to remain in their little piece of land forever . The other two planets have industrialised societies and moe manpower, but cannot rbel, beeing from thousands of years under Faleri's domination . Their inhabitants are prevalently humans of Balcanic origins ; their climate is cold-temperate . So the three planets name are : Pola-nova Ayeszwa Borovichi |

Wait? 3 billion years in the future? Humans without mutating, via natural selection would be unheard of. I mean the races on this planet diversified just over the last 50,000 years, and you are talking Billions?? Seems a bit extreme. |

You're all assuming that its going to be hyper-realistic like this place. Which, if it is... again, not interested. |

There should be a minimum threshold of realism. I like very much A-B's ideas so far. |

Is it in some billions years ? We humans wouldn't even exist in these ages ! |

DUNE solved the issue. There was a war between human intelligence and artificial intelligence, so computers were banned. Rather, human abilities were called in more and more, and slowly humans evolved. |

I loved the DUNE books. The way they used swords and personal enegry shields |

I thought of something. If we're going to basically cut off contact with Earth, why not have it so that the colonization project was done in Generation Ships, or Sleeper Ships? This would make a greater deal of sense. |

and that would explain why the human race has not mutated over millions of years! Even though it can be millions of years in the future, these civilizations could all be less than a couple thousand years old because of the use of sleeper ships!! I like it. |

I love the idea, Q. You my friend are a genius. TC is already helping me with Auglu Darzh, where I'll kick off the game. He should be having something for me by tonight, but no guarantee's that he'll be done by this time. In the meantime, I might as well allow you guys to ponder what your going to do when the time comes for you to plop down your nations, here are some resources for you to do so; Baltas Solar System Layout The Four Planets of the Baltas System Auglu Darzh Map (Preliminary) I will be bringing up stats of the planets, their size, radius, semi-major axis, etc. when TC is done. |

I'd love to be a part of this. I'd like to roleplay a trade organization who are basically interplanetary merchants and have no real base but instead have several large, slow moving, mostly self-sufficient super ships, almost like space stations that don't really orbit anything. Wow. That would be cool. Please excuse the above grammatical errors. I typed it as I was thinking it. I'm gonna start thinking more about this. |

I did not know that. What I meant was large slow-moving vessels that were not in stationary orbits around specific planets or suns. |

Fair enough... ^_^ Have you read any Vernor Vinge? I'm reading his "A Deepness In The Sky" right now and I'm really digging it. Some of his ideas on how an interstellar trade organization would work are really interesting. |

Update: Legion System (Moons, Planets etc.) near playable completion. Comets, asteroids, etc. will be added to the Legion and Baltas system later as needed. Shit. I hope TC finishes up on that map he was helping me with soon. |

Too far in the future for my taste. Then again I'm biased. My brother and I have our own story of the future already made, set in the early 27th century. If we had the money, it would be an absolutely revolutionary game. |
