Assassins Creed; It simply kicks ass

I really can't say enough about the game. Graphics are beautiful, game play is smooth, and the story (though a bit different than what I was expecting) is certainly interesting to follow. So if you want to be an assassin in the crusades, an have Damascus, Jerusalem, and Acre as your playground while you move around kicking Templar ass then I highly recommend this game. You certainly won't be disappointed if you ask me, at least I haven't been.

Oh an if I'm not around for the next few days, at least not as much as I usually am, it's most likely due to this game  :P B)

What's the story line? I've been thinking about getting it (I have the 360) but want some serious bang for my buck, my buck being in short supply as usual.

Wouldn't really put Halo 3 on that list, but the others make sense.

The next year will be just as good if not better. Many titles that I (and many others) are currently salivating over...

Oh, I guess just since that big bad microsoft made Halo 3, it must suck.

Admittedly, it's overhyped. However, it is still a great game.

It has nothing to do with the fact that it's Microsoft. I like Microsoft. It has to do with the fact that it was overhyped out the wazoo and did not meet my expectations.

Halo 3 wasn't as good as it was supposed to be...so what? It was still one of the best games. Ever. Period. Don't listen to the hype, just play the game. It absolutely belongs there.

I DID just play the game. It's the exact same game as the other two. New graphics and weapons do not sway me. The campaign was too easy and the multiplayer is same ol same ol.

...That seems to be becoming of all games these days. :(

Were you sleeping through half the game?

The gamew was more than the sum of its parts. Twas epic. Bungie kept the gameplay fresh, and created a genuinely awesome atomesphere. The game was masterfully executed (tell me that it wasn't one of the best moments ever when you were piloting the Hornet). The story, while not amazing, was interesting and brought some real surprises.

story was predictable, game engine was not different enough to warrant any of the hype, and the only thing it had going for it were graphics and vehicles. *yawn*

Halo 3 was merely good. Not "one of teh most wondaful game of dem allz".

Halo 3 deserves to be on it, as the end to a trilogy which has helped expand the frontiers of what FPS can be.

Well put that way, I'll grudgingly accept their deservance on the list (though I'd just call it Halo Series rather than THAT game).

Is it good enough to not spoil it?

Well I'll put it this way, the commercials on TV don't do the actual storyline purpose. Actually, they do to a point, but the story as a whole certainly wasn't what I was expecting that's for sure.
