I got a possible idea for my Euro RP :D From the Director of Danish Defense: Principality of Denmark Due to the circumstances facing the Danish government in Denmark, I must inquire about the possibility of Aurum Corp operatives possibly providing additional help in both logistic and military means for the Danish Armed Forces in this moment of crisis (money will not be a problem). Currently, we are locked in a desperate war of survival against the Belgian Crown over the existance of a sovereign Danish state; one of which will need additional manpower to supplement our conscript-based armed forces. OOC- I was worried for a bit that you didn't see this topic. From the Director of Danish Defense: Via Secure Line Naturally, we are interested in hiring Aurum Operatives in the Brigade+ level to assist with the defense of key military installations and Danish Capitol. Naturally, your operatives would be placed in conventional military engagements supplementing traditional Danish soldiers, and will see a decent amount of combat against the Belgian military presence flowing in through the west. Aurum Securities, Sales Manager Tristan Freidhelm Of course, before you begin to place very large orders for men, realize that Aurum contractors are meant to supplement local forces, not replace them. While under your service, you will pay each individual soldier who finds themselves in direct line of fire a few equal to $650 a day, as well as provide shelter and food for each troop. The Aurum Corporation also expects a feww equal to 10% of the cost for all contractors sent. Equipment for these soldiers will be provided by Aurum, free of charge. Furthermore, for an additional modest fee (5% of overall expedenitures) the Kingdom can forego any payments of compensation for dead mercanaries. Trainers are more expensive, and are expected to not be in the combat situations. Their salaries start at $1,000 a day, and the Kingdom must be able to pay them. In addition, Aurum expects a payment equal to 15% of overall costs. Our trainers are highly capable, and the Aurum program is the finest on Earth. In the event of death of training personnel, compensation must be provided equal to ten year's salary for each individual killed. This money will go towards their families around the world. Training personnel, again, are not meant to be in the line of fire. A mercanary army is expensive to maintain, but through this purchase, you are buying some of the finest soldiers on the planet, equipped with the best in technology. Aurum troops will use their own equipment, including planes, and naval vessals, which the Danish Kingdom may also purchase. |

OOC: Well, I'm not so sure about that assertion. Al Araam flirted with the mercenary trade once before its decline. 1.3 million infantrymen, 50,000 special forces operators, hundreds of aircraft and military vehicles, and several full sized fleets served in the Red Storm as mercenaries on the side of Yshurak. It was well before your time I believe, but it was a war in the Baltic and massive amounts of Araamenian mercenaries participated. Just a heads up. ^_^ |
