The Confrence room was in a large vast room, with tile floors, and vaulted cellings, that had large stained glass windows that flooded the room with light and color. in the middle was a large, round table with a golden rim. Everything was set. After the meeting there was to be diner. The dining hall was set, the long, white, tables were set with the finest sliver-ware, the aged wines and other fine drinks where placed on the bar. The best chefs from all of the Menhadien states, from African to Icelandic and everything in between. Now the guest had to arrive. |

The German representative left his limo, stopping momentarily to stretch. The plane flight had not been long, but to be cramped up in so small a space at all took a toll on the old man's body. He ascended the stairs of a large ornate building, and entered the Conference room. |

OOC: I guess Iggy will show up when he wishes "It would be best that we began," Walter Anderson said softly to the German representative. and they began to walk down the hall, the clack of the shoes bounced from the walls. "Please excuse some of my counter-parts, they may seem cold, as my sons are, or loud and boastfull, much like the McCandles, and finaly the Natekyas are men of few words." With that the enter the meeting hall. The large stained glass windows showed sceens from Menhadien history, soldiers and landscapes. The large wooden table was well polish, and water was provided in the middle of the table. "Gentlemen," Dougles McCandles opened the meeting with a very warm welcome, " We have met here today to talk about our relationship with the Treaty of Konigsberg, which have been poor at best. Also with Germany, are relationship was in the gutter, considering we deployed troops to aid rebels, but that is the past, let us discuss the future." |

OOC- WHOA, Completely overlooked this topic! :o Rushing quickly through the halls of the Menhadian building, seasoned diplomat Charles H. Rautenbaum, an elderly man of sixty-two years of age, rapidly moved towards the door of the conference room, slightly angry at himself for not having been able to leave Belgian Airspace quickly enough to arrive at a reasonably early time. "Christ..." muttered the old man sheepishly, pausing to catch his breath, "Damn air traffic controllers... Always bungling up with those weather plans.." Knocking twice before twisting the brass knob of the door, the Belgian slowly let himself in the conference room, nodding his head in acknowledgement at the representatives from the other parties. "Bonjour.." spoke Rautenbaum softly, moving towards a chair positioned next to his German counterpart, "I apologize for my tardiness, but it appears that not all of our Belgian airports seem to be functioning reliably whenever a spot of ill-weather appears.." Sitting himself down on the comfortable chair reserved for him, Rautenbaum quietly thought of the importance of securing favorable relations with the Menhadian Family, knowing full-well about the ferocious war raging on in the Principality of Denmark (just south of the Menhadian Border). While there was very little love of Menhad with the strongly pro-ToK Kingdom of Belgium (thanks in part to the late German Civil War Franco-Belgian forces had participated in), the change of government coming in the guise of Leopold's Royal Family soon saw the need for a friendly ally in the North Sea; a potential ally in the current war against Denmark. |

Germany welcomes Menhad's movement for renewal of relations with great joy, as two nations of such immense regional and international consequence should cooperate in all aspects of government. Although I am more then happy to speak of the future with you, I must first speak of the past. Germany holds no ill feelings towards Menhad for its actions during the civil war, yet damage done by Menhadian troops has been costly to repair. If Menhad could pay a small sum in reparations, Germany will view your involvement as a non-factor in any future decisions. |

"Well said, the damage we did will be repaid and all families whose property was damage we will repay." OOC: Sorry really in a bind and can be on for only a few minutes. |
