The German delegate to the treaty addresses the delegates of all other member nations as well as those of observer nations through tele conference, since no international headquarters or official assembly had yet been established for the booming treaty. "My friends, today I address you not as a German citizen but instead a citizen of Europe, a member of the world, and a proud representative of humanity. As we speak a conflict is rapidly unfolding, one of increasingly epic proportions. As you all know, the nation of Kriegsreich detonated a weapon of mass destruction, to the great alarm of all European nations. Cerdone has responded with military agression, and civilian lives have already been lost in the conflict. This is a completely unneccessary conflict, and one which should have been resolved in the conference room rather then on the battlefield. Regardless, we are faced with the reality of war in Europe. I come before you today to call upon your respective nations for aid in the plight. We must immediately discuss and deliberate about how to handle this matter. Now is the perfect oppertunity to throw about our newly gained diplomatic weight, and make our presence on the continent one of consequence. I do not at this time advocate the defense of one of these warring parties at the expense of another, but instead ask that the treaty vote in favor of military intervention in the conflict. Appeasement is a fool's pasttime, and as proved ineffective in the past. Concessions must be made by both sides, and I am afraid that sanctions are far from effective in promoting international policy. Military intervention is the answer, and without it European lives will be lost. It is on this note that Germany pledges to donate a force of no less then 80,000 fighting men to intervene in this conflict, and invites other nations to join in this task force for peace." |

"It is clear that we members of the Treaty of Koningsburg must intervene in this matter," spoke the Belgian Delegate to the ToK, "but I must say that the Kingdom of Belgium is openly sympathetic to the Kreigsreich State. However, I must add that neither country has chosen the right actions regarding the Cerdone-Kreigsreich conflict, and both are equally responsible in feeding the flame of war in Western Europe." "Despite the situation between Flanders and Belgium," continued the Belgian, "we will agree to dispatching a 120,000 man peace-keeping force to separate the two warring parties from each other." - Belgian Delegate Emmanuel Astrada |

"Although I agree most resolutely that both parties are at fault, was it not Kriegsreich who first acted with both belligerence and an utter disregard for its fellow nations? Germany shares a border with Kriegsreich, and offers its western military bases as a staging ground for a peacekeeping mission to Kreigsreich." -German Delegate Hans Grobel |

Russia has already made public it's intentions of staying militarily neutral in this conflict so far as the whole of the Russian Military are concern. We are highly displeased that both parties refused any sort of diplomatic solution to their problems and find this war as simply a negligence to civilized protocol. However, we have already made known that should our allies of Germany fall victim to the spread war we will then intervene with full military support. We are, however, prepared to send a small contingent of men from our special forces, the Spetsnaz around a number of 60,000. -Russian Delegate Aleksei Antropov |

While we have not made our sentiments public knowledge, Pascoag lies its sympathy whith Cerdone. Because we are brothers in heritage and neighbors does not mean we agree with their actions and both parties are equally quilty. Therfore I propose that we try to get the nations to sit down to hammer out a peace treaty. If that fails then we shall do it at gun point. - Pascaogian Delegate Rodolph Francisque |

"In the end," quipped the Belgian Representative, "Belgium will, despite our sympathies with the Kreigsreich State, hammer either one or both sides with its military arm to uphold peace in the European Continent." |

"Perhaps it would be acceptable and best for all parties to have Belgium lead the enforcement of ceasefire in Kriegsreich and have either my own nation or perhaps Pascoag enforce the ceasefire in Cerdone if necessary, as in this case both parties will not be occupied by hostile authorities." - German Delegate Hanz Grobel |

"Hear! Hear!" yelled the Belgian Delegate to the Treaty of Koningsburg, bursting from his seat at this comment. "We do, however," pointed out the Belgian to his Treaty of Koningsburg allies, "wish to point out that the nation of Kreigsreich is almost completely surrounded by ToK member states, and that Cerdone' Forces (and JAUST, should it come to it) must fly over either German, Belgian, or Neutral airspace to reinforce any 'front of theirs'." "Both Russian and German navies could do well to patrol the Northern Seas," continued the Belgian, "and prevent any JAUST or Cerdone navies from launching air assaults on the Kreigsreich State. Do not forget, good sirs, that JAUST cannot be allowed to meddle in purely European affairs after our successful defense of Germany during the German Civil War." |

We agreement with the sentiments of this assembly" said Aleksei Antropov as he stood an addressed his peers. "We agree with Pascaog that full military involvement at this time would certainly be premature of our organization and would like to offer Moscow or St. Petersburg as locations for a Peace Conference. As Russia is one of the farthest nations from the region of Europe in conflict it would certainly go to show our neutrality in this conflict in regards to not showing favoritism to one nation over the other." Taking a moment to breathe, the Russian delegate continued... "Furthermore we agree and commit our Baltic Fleet to operations designed in preventing both, the two nations in question attacking the other, and also keeping JAUST out of what should be considered wholeheartedly a European Affair. We would also like to suggest that member nations also be allowed to help dominate German airspace to keep enemy bombers from both sides from attacking the other as well as an aerial blockade of unrecognized air space. This suggestion comes solely on the basis that Germany should not have to defend her air space alone on behalf of this organization and not as an insult to suggestion that she is incapable of doing so." |

"I thank you for your kindness, and easily divine the truth in your statement. German airspace will be opened to all alliance members, and the German Baltic Fleet will be mobilized at once. The wisdom of avoiding military intervention at this time is pristine, and I support the belief that diplomacy must come before martial intervention. However, I feel that the alliance must secure Europe against JAUST influence regarding this matter. Perhaps an ultimatum or statement of some kind should be issued, warning JAUST nations to not intervene in this conflict. What say you?" - German delegate Hanz Grobel |

Upon careful deliberation, the Communist Republic has come to the conclusion that a war with Kriegsreich would be disasterous for the alliance. It is simply unacceptable, and we fully support any peace talks and ceasefires, and will provide humanitarian aid to both sides of the conflict if possible. "Kriegsreich has refused to take part in mediation efforts at a conference in Berlin, declaring that they will not take part because 'the international community does not have any rights to intervene with our affairs unless requested.']/i] I for one find this a most brash statement coming from a smaller player in continent politics and a nation of little military power to speak of. This response of Kreigsreich, combined with Cerdone's recorded requests for JAUST aid in the region, has provoked my nation to call for immediate military action meant to pacify the region, as well as counter and discourage a JAUST attempt at military presence in the area. JAUST no longer has a place in European politics, and its repeated intrusions in European affairs in the past has created an environment condusive to their belligerent interventions. Germany's Baltic Fleet is en route as we speak to begin aggressive patroling in the Baltic, and will issue ultimatums to any JAUST fleet it may encounter. I ask you now, what say you to this?" - German delegate Hanz Grobel |

I will promise Quaonion peacekeepers if Belgium, Cerdone, and the Holy Catholic Imperium will pledge not to attack them. They will be there to provide humanitarian aid to the citizens of Kriegsreich, but will also be cleared to attack agitators in said nation. While I agree that the time and ability to settle this with little bloodshed is passing by quickly we would like to try to reson with the leaders one more time. If that fails, which I'm almost sure it will, Pascoag will offer its Werewolf forces for a quick peace. We will also close off our air space in Noreway and move our ships toward the English Channel and the North Sea, successfully cutting off JAUST from entering Cerdone and Europe. - Pascaogian Delegate Rodolph Francisque |

The Roman delegate stood up and spoke to the assembly: "While not a full member of the Konigsberg Treaty Organization, the Empire of the Romans is prepared to cooperate with any peace-keeping or intervention mission prepard by the members of this organization. 350,000 ground troops, under Roman command, are prepared to be deployed in cooperation with Konigsberg troops. The Roman Empire has a duty to enforce peace throughout the world, and will participate for that purpose. "However, we suspect that this might be in vain. It has long been the observation of the Romans, that in a startling number of these crises, JAUST rears its head. So it does not surprise us that JAUST is related to this current crisis, in the person of one its members who is one of the two reckless states that have started this conflict. For that reason, we fear that the Konigsberg states, and Europe itself, will never be safe as long as JAUST is allowed to exist in this region. We are not advocating war with JAUST, and do not impugn any state, but we must state this observation." |

"Well said. My nation is of the belief that JAUST influence must be removed from Europe if we are to prosper as a continent and society of nations. The actions of its members have served to antagonize Kriegsreich and further this conflict, and Germany has had enough. Border patrols have reported firefights breaking out in southwestern Kreigsreich, along its border with Germany. Germany will wait no longer, with its citizens menaced by foreign troops. You gentlemen are the first to be informed that the 19th Sturm Division and Armoured 42nd Division have been mobilized, and will be crossing the border into Kreigsreich within the hour. Diplomacy may continue, but we must protect ourselves. |

Try reading the post. It says that we will cooperate with a Konigsberg peacekeeping operation, which would already have ~300,000 troops committed to it, based on previous posts. If you don't want troops coming in, I assume that you have already arranged that they are not going to intervene, in which case, I'm not following them. Either way, it ain't me you should be talking to. |

To alleviate the German border as well as that of the border of Pascoag, Russia will deploy 100,000 Spetsnaz each to aid in homeland defense with those nation's forces upon acceptance of this aid. Furthermore we have already dispatched our Baltic fleet and it shall be within the area shortly. Further involvement into this conflict by Russian forces will come only when it is deemed that JUAST forces have entered Europe. -Russian Delegate Aleksei Antropov |
