So as some of you close to me know, Velorya is basically in its final RP. It's been a good run, but I'm bored with it and want to move on. I'm particularly interested in moving to Europe. However, I realize that writing out everything that I have planned (a suitable going-out for my first nation) may take awhile. Honestly, although I should technically wait this out, patience is not one of my strong points.

What I would like to do is reserve some land (in the name of Norightsia on NS) and start writing up a description, all while Velorya is still technically alive. Since she will never really be interacting with anyone again, I thought that maybe putting Velorya into a sort of half-death would be acceptable. I don't even necessarily need to have it on the map, although it would be nice if it were, because people concurrently posting about areas in Velorya's demesne would be a bit odd.

Anyways, I can't think of what else. Any thoughts?

I don't know if what you want to do is legal or not, but I do have some (hopefully constructive) suggestions.

First of all, you could post the story in summation, so as to speed up the conclusion of Velorya.
Secondly, you could assume the conclusion, have Velorya removed and your new nation started, and then finish Velorya's story as something that happened in the past.
Another option would be to move Norightsia into the European region and start your nation there. Then move another nation into Asia to represent Velorya; since Velorya is ending, the change in stats should not be a major problem.

Without knowing more specifically what you are planning to do, it is difficult to comment. I hope I am properly understanding you and that my suggestions are at least somewhat helpful.

I would love to just switch nations. I could resurrect Los Angeles's NS account and place it in Asia. If I were allowed to do that, that is.

Then I guess Asian Union has permanently kicked it then. About time...that thing was on life support...

Only me, Scy, Q and NRE left in Asia. Depressing.

I'll miss Velorya.

Don't jinx it...

And even if is is true, it will come back. This forum seems to be a bit like musical chairs in regards to the regions. Europe is back on the rise in terms of RPing, previously it was Africa, and before that America and beorew that Asia...it'll come back to us next.

I see no problem with that.

Nice input there Paradise. Way to use Quaon's account to make your point.

All snark aside, it's got RD's support, I don't see anything wrong with it, no-one else is raising a fuss.

And as for Grand Ole Asia dimming from the limelight... I think that can be turned around.

RD's suggestion is perfectly legal as far as my maps are concerned. All that you're asking is for Velorya to remain while on NS another nation takes it's place and that's almost like what we do when we allow nation's to take on new names such as Norightsia becoming Velorya but that's in reverse to what you are asking, still fine by me.

As for Europe, just send me a PM and I'll get start on the map requirements of this change.

As for Asia, yeah our "gold age" may be coming to an end but there are enough minerals left that I think we'll be OK. With any luck we'll get some new players soon that will help brighten up the place and all. An who knows, The Eastern Empire may just declare war on someone just for fun and we'll have all of Asia fighting

All I was saying is that I haven't seen any precedent against Nor's proposal, Nag.
