Zeelar was a different country. The transformation had occuried in the evening, and by morning one was waking up to an alien sunlight that bemoored the difficult days ahead. Much to the President's chagrin, compulsory savings had been placed into effect rather than the bonds that normally financed a military operation such as this one. Where the unemployed had once been, soldiers now stood. Lured by a promise that they would be granted free land once the war had ceased, these new souls had enlisted quickly to be first placed in the grunt work that the military required of them. It was not often that an anarchist state such as Zeelar had gotten organized, but at least for the time being it was. Transport was running faster today. Output from industry, as clean as ever, was running at an increased state. Construction had ceased as materials were deverted towards new causes. Zeelar was a different country. In the desert expanse within the area that seperated the realm of Sutekh, land had been combed. Paths were cut out, track was laid hastily. Land had been temporarily painted and mudwalled barracks had been set up. What was once nothingness had been built into a temporary foreward base. Three like setups were assembled in different areas so as to provide a coverage from which to stand against the southern portion of Sutekh. Africa stood on the precipice of war. |

Sutekh-Te-Ankh sent an alert to many of its legions in the Ivory War about the possible invasion of their homeland. While there were still many divisions of the military based in Sutekh-Te-Ankh, it was not deemed a sufficient amount of protection from the scale of invasion they were expecting. Thus 75% of the committed forces towards the Ivory War were called back to set up defenses in Sutekh-Te-Ankh. Throughout the capital city, effigies of Horus were constructed by citizens and burned, showing their displeasure of the conniving god. It was believed by many that Horus led these nations against Sutekh-Te-Ankh, expecting to destroy Sutekh's last holy refuge in the world. |

We would like to confirm our support for our friends in zeelar, who have been wronged by the Egyptians in horiffic ways. The pagans have taken their rituals to far, and have killed a man for saying the word "Horus." This is absurd, and we will not tolerate it. Zeelar has our diplomatic support in the midst of this crisis. |

Zeelar has the aid of the GTO should they desire it, and need only ask. |

Zeelar, an ally of ours in GTO, has our strong support both politically and logistically in that respect. We are prepared to help them in any way possible, including an airlift of our fighters and bombers to the area, from our airbases in French Madagascar. Zeelar announces that it is truely grateful for this and hopes some day to repay these kind acts. |

The Holy Roman Empire also reaffirms its support of Zeelar and the GTO. Imperial troops are mobilizing in Monrovia to prepare for the march through the Sahara to Sutekh. Some 50,000 soldiers have been allocated to this particular conflict, quite generous considering that over half of the Empire's contingent of combat-ready soldiers are in Romania. Emperor Adrian is merely waiting for his Allies to make the first move, and he will follow their lead. |

Division C of the Hispanic Armed Forces is highly trained in desert combat, and will be deployed along with the 1st Helicopter Squadron to support the Zeelarian offensive. They will be commanded by General Igancio Cortez, who will take orders from the Zeelarian high command. They will fly Zeelarian colors, and, for all purposes, be part of the greater Zeelarian force. They will arrive through the Exarchate of Africa, who has long ago signed a mutual partnership with Hispania for matters such as these. Division C: 100,100 Infantry 25 HL-22 (light tank) 10 HAA-87 (APC/AA) 5 HR-B11 (recon) 1st Helicopter Squadron: 50 HHI-B6 (anti-tank, ground support) 50 HHI-92 (support helicopter) 10 HHM-03 (medical helicopter) 10 HHT-05 (transport helicopter) OOC: Zeelar, have you guys decided who is winning this thing? |

OOC: Scy wants it to be what he calls "An experiment in randomness." I gather he wants to go against the grain and RP it to the end. |
