Edit: on a more serious note I wouls like Germany to come out of the war as a bit more powerful, as I picture them as a nation on the rise. However, if anyone is interested I would like a puppet regime or occupation of some sort in Zingal, and the Banana Republic can be totally wiped out or whatever someone needs, since I've hit a brick wall with that nation. Well I'm a little late to the discussion, but as far as European coflict is concerned... The Treaty of Konigsberg is always out there, lurking like a Great White Shark awaiting more members so that it might rise to prominence. Posted Image |

Gents, I realize Constantinople is THE city and whatever, but there should still be other major battles. a handful per theater atleast. WHat major battles would be in Asia? And Nag, I was refering ot the land occupation system.. |

Asia will be up in flames in a matter of months. In fact, I think it might scare the hell out of the rest of the world if I understand the plot correctly. |

Huge naval battle in the straits of Gibraltar would be interesting, as whoever controls those pretty much controls the Mediterranean. Just as important as Constantinople would be. |

I know this may not have much to do directly with Europe, but strategically speaking, what about the Suez Canal? There are a lot of extremely powerful people in the middle east that could use it to gain access to the Mediterranean and rear end any navies blocking the Gibraltar straits. Or navies neutral/allied with the Mid-East powers simply just go around the Gibraltar blockade... |

I don't remember, who currently controls the Suez canal? Is it under a joint administration of Wadj and RD? |

Huh? Last I checked, Wadj and I had equal control. I have Sinai, he has Egypt. Either way, we are close enough allies that it shouldn't matter, with the King of Wadj and the Emperor being brothers-in-law. Also the Empire controls the Strait of Gibralter. |

Wait, wait, wait. I thought Gibralter was a joint thingy between GNF and X&C, and when they both moved on, no one had it, as the Iberian Penn. has been unoccupied for a very long time? |

My mistake..I was only accounting for one side of the canal, RD. :shy: Alrighty, for Europe we have Constantinople and Gibraltar. I also suggest the Denmark strait as a possible great battle. Anyway, do we have an idea of the combating parties yet? For the beginning of the war anyway? We need warring factions! :D |

I'd fight over the Straits, but only if it ends with a stalemate and the creation of a jointly-run DMZ, and that kind of thing. |

Gibraltar will be attacked multiple times methinks... How about a battle of the Denmark strait? Cutting off the baltic will end naval support for any nations with coastline there.. |

I wouldn't mind getting involved in this. Not necessarily in terms of fighting but as a sort of side player. I kind of envisage the war promoting economic recovery (US -WW2 style) through gearing the economy to selling cheap arms aided by relaxing immigration laws and the laws on cheap, foreign labour (or just turning refugees into slaves :D ). Would that be possible at all? |

I took over the African side after GNF disbanded Great Denizistan. For a long time TC was running Islamic Fundamentalists on the European side, but he recently RP'd their conquest by the Empire. Kasnyia: I agree that the strait that guards the entrance to the Baltic would be a good place for a naval battle; the English Channel woud be too, I think. |

I think a Battle of the Java Sea would do more to secure naval dominance over Indonesia than one in the Straits of Malacca, as if naval dominance in Indonesia was a big deal anyway. However, with Velorya basically down for the count, Malacca would be open for one side to control, and it would help getting to Surigao if one could go through the South China Sea, Velorya's Mare Nostrum. |

Hopefully this will look like something other than code when I post, so...here is an example of the warbox, using a conflict I wrote some time ago... {{Infobox Military Conflict |conflict=The Battle of Doberai Peninsula |partof=the Assassin Civil War |image= |caption= |date= November 17, XXXX |place= Assassin Barat |result= Kasnyian victory, destruction of half the Blood Queen Fleet |combatant1= Assassin Lucent Regime |combatant2= Kasnyian Empire (as part of Hicks Loyalist alliance) |commander1= Admiral Edward Sampson |commander2= Fleet Admiral Tannenberg |strength1=Estimated between 200 o 500 warships, two battleships and one carrier (AAS Sidewinder) |strength2= 400 warships, three battleships two midget carriers |casualties1=Unknown, but nearly obliterated |casualties2=Unknown, estimated 2,000-10,000 sailors, 137 warships }} EDIT- Nevermind....*sigh* If there is anyway to create a warbox on the forum, please I'm all ears.. |
