At the time of the creation, my capital was not Konigsberg. I named it the Treaty of Konigsberg because within my nation there was a city of Konigsberg, as there is to this day. Despite not holding real world locations, I have moved many German city names into my nation, ranging from Munich to Hamburg to Dresden to, yes, Konigsberg. It is with this in mind that I politely decline to change the name of this treaty, and instead invite Gallatia to join it. EDIT: Also, Marslava's request will be reviewed. |

The Communist Republic of Quaon would like to dispel a few myths about it. We, contrary to popular belief, are a democracy. We have a freely-elected Parliament and President. Our citizens rally behind the Hammer and Sickle and fully support our government. If our citizens truly wished a return to capitalism, they could choose to vote in that way, but why would they? The Quaonion people were manipulated by the fascist "Tsar" Alekan Duleska, who oppressed the workers and killed all non-Slavs. The "Tsar" was internationally despised, with such serene nations as the Duchy of Draxis or the Russian Empire (recently admitted into the Konigsberg Treaty Organization) opposing his rule. Our revolution was needed to end the tyranny of the Tsar. Furthermore, while the Communist Republic flies the red flag proudly, we do not wish to spread communism beyond our borders if the people we would spread it to don't want it. An economic system is something the people of every nation must choose for themselves. We of the CRQ fully respect the choices of the people in the other capitalist nations of Europe. We are not agrressive towards these other nations and have the utmost respect for the monarchs of the world that wisely guide their people. The CRQ does not repress religion. We fully respect the rights of our mainly Russian Orthodox population. Our President is, in fact, a member of said Church. The government simply controls the means of production of the CRQ to prevent the oppression of the workers that happened under the reign of "Tsar" Alekan Duleska, who allowed his supporters free reign of the working people of Quaon. The CRQ truly wishes that the Prussian State will reconsider their decision. The CRQ hopes for a glorious future in a peaceful Europe, and we believe that the Treaty of Konigsberg is the way towards such a future. Formal Response from the Reichspräsident " Whilst I am pleased to see that the domestic and internal policies of the nation of Quaon are indeed stable, I am sorry to see that Communism has taken root there. It is against the Prussian Corporatist sense, no matter how much you alter it. I understand that there is little oppression, but the Imperialistic tendencies of Quaon, especially it's new expansion towards the Baltic Sea, are seen as something that could have a negative impact upon the entire Treaty. We, in the Prussian Sovereign Republic see the entry of Quaon a risky thing. " |

Most of the territory claimed by the "Republic of Jacobia" was not actually under its control. The Republic of Jacobia only controlled a small amount of area around the border to Quaon. We recieved numerous Jacobian refugees who told us of atrocities and oppression performed by "President" Jacob Humphrey. Still, the CRQ took no action until Jacobian troops began assembling at the border. After observing a general positive reaction to a Quaonion intervention, the CRQ voted to annex Jacobia. We also annexed the territory only claimed by Jacobia, after sending emmissaries to see the condition of the people. They lived in poverty and anarchy, with not central government to protect them. Over 70% requested intervention from an established government to bring order to their land. Jacobians are, in majority, citizens of the CRQ like any other, and are about as happy (78% approval rating, one point under the approval rating of the rest of the CRQ) as citizens from other parts of Quaon. They are fully represented in Parliament and take part in free and frequent elections. Comrade Alexander Popov Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Republic |

What is the current diplomatic status between Quaon and Draxis, and what is the size and sophistication of the Quaonian military at this time? What are Quaon's chief exports and imports? Is the Quaonian economy a command economy or a free market economy? - German Foreign Affairs Department |

The CRQ owes its very existence to the Duchy of Draxis' intervention against Alekan Duleska's genocidal rampages. While we do not have a formal diplomatic alliance, the CRQ sees the Drax nation as our comrades. We will, in the future, pursue a more formal relationship with the Duchy, once our reperations owed to them for the acts against the Duchy are paid in full. Quaon has a highly-dedicated military, with approximately 6,309,000 enrolled in the army, a respectable arforce and armored division, and a growing navy. Our military is a formidable force that is of respectable sophistication. Quaon's chief exports are ferrous and nonferrous metals, fuel and petroleum products, chemicals, machinery and transport equipment, and food products, while our chief imports are energy, machinery and equipment, and chemicals. We are admittedly a command economy. -Comrade Alexander Popov Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Republic |

Belgian Statement: Belgium wishes to point out to Prussia that despite its Communist affiliations, the acceptance of Quaon into the ToK would allow the Treaty of Koningsburg to more effectively defend both European people and interests from internal and external breaches of peace.
