Treaty of Konigsberg Text Article I This treaty establishes relations between the Empire of Germany and the Holy Empire of Pascoag. It will remain binding unless terminated by all signing parties. An embassy representing each signing member must be present in every member country, with the embassies and their personnel recognized within the host nation as diplomats and property of their parent nation. II The treaty will be open to all nations who respect the values and premises put forth in this document, but will require the approval of 2/3rds signing states before being admitted. III The Konigsberg treaty will recognize and respect the equality of member nations before the Constitution, as well as refrain from interfering with the essential state functions of member nations. IV Between member nations free trade shall exist, with any tariffs or foreign import taxes on member goods nulled by this agreement. V Germany and Pascoag will engage in joint arms training, with both technological and personnel records shared between nations. VI The Treaty of Konigsberg will act as a military alliance between member nations. In the event of a declaration of war on a member nation, all other members are required to respond with a joint military effort. In the event of an act of agression by a member nation, the agressor can request military aid from other members of the pact, but such aid is optional. VII In the interest of strategic positioning, military access will be granted by all member nations to all other member nations. VIII Persons wanted in either country are required to be extradited to be tried according to the laws of the nation, in which they transgressed. Germany and Pascoag will work together to make sure that international trade agreements are enforced and to minimize the trade of illegal manufactures into and out of either country. IX Member nations cannot hold active membership in any multi-nation alliance with more then two members. X Any nation may override treaty requirements for participation in the Treaty of Konigsberg, with specificity at the time of entry as to which Articles they may ignore, with an 85% approval rate by the Treaty Organization. Mission Statement Recognizing the increasing number of nations wishing to interfere both diplomatically and militarily in the affairs of European nations. Believing that the fate of all European nations is intertwined. Encouraging positive relations between both member nations and all nations of Europe and the world. Reaffirming the willingness of member nations to utilize military force in order to preserve peace, and armed resistance in order to preserve sovereignty. Establishing a military and economic pact meant to empower and protect member nations as well as deter agressors of all kinds. Signed, Kaiser Fritz I King of Prussia and Lord of the East Benjamin Lucien Cromwell King of the Empire of Pascoag King Leopold Amaedo (II) King of Belgium Tsar Paul Georgovich Romanov II By the Grace of God, Emperor and Autocrat of All the Russias Comrade Luka Falan President of the Communist Republic Dougles McCandles Walter Anderson Charlie Natekya Three Families of Menhad His Imperial Excellency, Prince Lionel Karschburg, Prime Minister of the Kasnyian Empire Yugaf Lutenktzi President of Yshurak The Communist Republic Observation Empire of the Romans Vespery Allesandra Hispania Mircania Edited by lebowski2123, Sep 8 2008, 06:42 PM.

The French Confederation requests membership in the Treaty of Konigsberg, fully believing that European affairs and peace are to be kept by fellow Europeans rather than foreign aggressors seeking to expand their influence in the 'old world'. Our Confederation believes that Europe is for the Europeans, and agrees to fully comply with the rules and views of the Konigsberg treaty in order to preserve the peace of all of Europe. - Jean de Baptiste, President of the French Confederation |

"The Federation of Altneuland wishes to extend its hands in peace to the nations of the Treaty of Konigsberg. We are watching closely the development of this treaty in the prospects of perhaps joining it as a member at a later stage. That is why we will greatly appreciate if we will be allowed to send an observer to the treaty as a possible first step towards our integration in it. In the meanwhile, Altneuland expresses its sympathy towards the alliance and its pan-European policies. Your's Truly, President Kazimierz Stanislavsky The Federation of Altneuland" |

This noble gesture of Altneuland will be remembered by the German people, and an observer may be sent at once. |

All eyes turn to the major alliances. Eventually, the GTO will suffer the same problems that JAUST went through a long time ago and still continues to go through, as well as the GTO's problems. The question is ... can you adapt to the ever-growing threats that will be sure to face you...? That is the million dollar queston. And, to be honest, I cannot even answer that on behalf of JAUST. Oh well, the struggle is the glory. B) |

From: The Rectoria of Foreign Affairs To: The Organization, under the name of "The Treaty of Konigsberg" The Rectoria of Foreign Affairs, headed by Rudolf von Gozman, would like to politely ask why the name of our Capital City; Konigsberg, is the name of this organization, when the nation of Gallatia does not remember signing any said treaties that have to do with our capital city. |

OOC- Because it's the capital of Germany in this world. Hmm...how interesting, I wonder if there is a rule when two capitals share the same name.....who gets precedence? |

To settle this dilemma it would be best to follow the practice of the ancients, and append a second name or descriptor to the name of each similarly named city. The full names could then be used to distinguish the cities. |
