The Muslim Brotherhood was formed a while back, when there were no stark differences between Islam and Shiasm. However, that is why the Khalifah of The Holy Empire of Madina has taken it upon himself to invite the Muslim leaders to a second round of talks in order to revive the MB and see where it can lead us. When you come to the Conference, we will be able to discuss your concerns and come up with a solution.
OOC: Actually, looking through the thread, you'll find that the spit was fairly significant. Palestine, TC's nation at the time, refused to join because Al Araam (A strongly Shi'a nation) was a member. Also, the difference is not between "Islam" and Shi'ism (sp?), but between Sunnism and Shi'ism, two sects of Islam.

OOC: Actually, as Paradise is the ultimate authority on Islam and is 100% Sunni... the case could be made that "real" Islam is sunni.

ooc: I dont understand why you mentioned hat its not between Shiasm and Islam. Is there something you are trying to point out?

OOC: Not really, you just said there was a split between Islam and Shi'ism, and I was just trying to clarify. Nag makes a good point, though.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the lurkiest of them all?
OOC: Presumably the treaty still exists, but Paradise is inactive and I'm the only other member present.

OOC: Well given Abnar is still around and I'm RPing Paradise, I'd say this may still exist. Perhaps the founding of a renewed Muslim Brotherhood is necessary.

IMO, treaty would have lapsed during the Dominion; refounding it is a great idea.

OOC: I would imagine if the idea is to re-found the brotherhood with the same charter (obviously making the small change of HQ location) then for continuity sake I'd say possibly using this thread. If, however, you want to draw up an entirely new charter then yeah I'd say start a new thread.

I brought that up a while ago but the Muslim Brotherhood Just like the Baghdad Treaty doesn't exist anymore.
Although you could restart it on a new thread.

OOC: I think that setting up a new thread would be best since the new alliance would not have any continuity with the old one. However, if they do set up a new one, we should sticky that thread instead of this one.
