OOC: On that other forum, the great game, I believe Madina said he had no interest in continued RP here. IC: I vote against the membership of this Shi'ite nation into the Brotherhood. Shi'ites are heretics and should not be allowed to pollute our glorious Brotherhood's actions. -Imam Esmaeel Al Sahaf OOC: This isn't Sahndaq's official position, just the Imam's. |

"We deeply regret Palestine's decision to withdraw from the Muslim Brotherhood. Press release from Yasim Abdullahi, Palestinian spokesman: We urge all the Shi'ites to convert to Islam, instead of pretending to be Muslims while actually perverting the beliefs of the religion. Shi'ism is the worst form of heathen beliefs, for Shi'ites know in their hearts what is right and what is wrong, yet they still purposely twist and pervert Islam. This self-deception is abominable indeed. Did not the great liberator of Al-Quds [Jerusalem], Saladin al-Ayyubi, beloved of God, destroy the abominable Shiites for they are worse than even the idol-worshippers of India? What Islam needs today is a new Saladin, and we do not need infidels to corrupt our religion. But we will rejoin the MB organization if it includes this in the charter: "All members of the Muslim Brotherhood must believe Ali ibn Abi Talib was an ordinary man. Surely Ali shall be respected as a companion of Muhammad but he was neither worse nor greater than Abdallah Abu Bakr. The sons of Ali deserved nothing beyond what they earned through meritorious conduct and piety. To believe otherwise is idolatry and lies outside the pale of the Sunnah." |

"The People of Al Araam are appalled by the bigotry of the Palestinians, whom we have called our brothers and held in greatest esteem. It has long been the belief of the Ayatollah and Al Araam's most esteemed Imams that at a time such as this, when kafir armies swarm across the globe, raping and pillaging, sectarian divisions must be overlooked so that the word of the Most High can be spread and it's followers protected. We are saddened to see Palestine playing into the hands of the kafir nations, who would laugh as they desecrated al-Ka'bah. We can only hope that the wayward sheep will again hear the call of the Shepard and return to the flock." - Imam Faraj ibn Kareem Minister of the One True Faith The Islamic Paradise of Al Araam |

OOC: A little more information would be great. It's a little hard to vote either way with only the post requesting admittance as a reference. A nation description thread might be a good place to start. But I fully plan on voting in favor of your nation's admittance once I learn a little more. There really aren't many factors relevant to this alliance, but the information is nice to have. |
