Our Government has decided to expand its territory to the South American region, after having consulted with our Parliament which approved the expansion. The North-Eastern tip of South America, called Nordeste is now under Great New French control: 20,000 troops have been dispatched into the new overseas territory to keep the peace and security.

Our Government would like to make it clear that it will treat all the native population with respect and tolerance: equal rights shall be granted to all citizens of Great New French Nordeste, that is everyone that inhabit it.

We hope to enjoy heathy and cordial relations with the neighbours of our overseas territory, Great New French Nordeste, that is both the Banana Republic and the Brazilean Confederacy. A future visit will be done by his Majesty our Emperor to the Brazilean Confederacy, but the date of it is yet unknown: further clarifications with the BC officials are needed.

OOC: This isn't going to interfere with CE's expansion is it...? You better contact Esternarx before going through with this.

Any french movements in that region will be considered a declaration of war against BC.

We assure all that our expansion will firmly respect the territorial integrity of all its neighbours. That is, we have full respect for the borders of our neighbours, both the Brazilean Confederacy and the Banana Republic.

OOC: Actually your in the lands of RL Brazil, he considers all that land apart of the Brazilean Confederacy, even if it is not claimed on the map. Colonizing there is a declaration of war to him.

IC:

The inflammatory comments made by the BC is alarming, we only desire peace. Do not make a bad situation into a worse situation, we can cooperate and coexist if you would make such efforts on your part.

But surely us and the frenchies we can arrange a compromise, since is not good that two white nation fight each other.

I invited the emperor to Savador to talk about the French expansion.

His Majesty Emperor Jean-François de la Tablière has graciously accepted invitation of President San Marti of the Brazilean Confederacy. It is the government's position that Great New French Nordeste can cooperate closely with the BC on matters of common interest, and we do hope that both parties can finally come to a positive compromise.

OOC- Better hope that wasn't where CE wanted to enter. Otherwise you would have to negotiate with him too.

OOC:I told him to check with CE to make sure, but I am not sure if he has done that yet.

OOC- No I mean this can't be good in regards to the relations between the two organizations if there is a debate over colonization.

OOC: That has me worried too, but I am sure GNF and CE can sort this out in a civilized fashion if there is a conflict. Anyway I am done posting OOC. ^_^

Actually, I intend to not give France all of that, and give CE a small corner of it.

Salvador, Brazilean Confederacy

President San Martì hailed the column of soldiers, veterans of the Tocatins expansion, while the presidential limousine moved in the crowed street of common peolle cheering and yelling, the president thought about the great Black out and the damage it had done, and the people who died.
"Revenge", he tought "and France can help me"

At the airport was crowed also more than streets around it and french and brazilian flags flowed togheter to the wind.

"A little piece of land", San Martì said to no one "is less important than revenge"

We hear and echo President José Marti's sound words: we firmly believe that peace and stability should be preserved in South America, and our presence in Great New French Nordeste is made to promote those important values. We thus believe that future bilateral visits could be made in order to further strengthen the Great New French-Brazilean Confederacy relations.
