OOC- Not a problem, NRE. Nice offer BTW. :D IC- Frietz's eyebrows went up at that suggestion. The Russians were offering the greatest range of service of the three thus far, as well as a location far from population centers. It was tempting, but... "Your offer is most generous, and I am inclined to take it, but I should tell you, ZEMEI is a Kasnyian registered corporation, and by law we cannot deal with Alexanderhaven. I believe Alexanderhaven has similar laws with dealing with Kasnyian corporations as well," Frietz said with a furrowed brow, "If perhaps your representatives within Byzantium could arrange a way for them to transfer the energy to Alexanderhaven without a direct connection to the power grid, we could have a deal." One was offering him Eastern and Southern Europe, the other Western and Northern Europe, and the third...well...Frietz hoped the Venetians could offer a counter-offer soon. |

OOC: Throw down an extra line alongside all the rest; shouldn't be too difficult. Also, if you want me to counter-offer, I assume our representatives are aware of each other's offers? By the way, I should have lines in Western Europe, too. I've allied with the Irish and English, even having a base there, and was friendly with the French prior to their collapse. It's not a stretch to say Téjo reaches through France to the isles. IC: "Setting the plant far away on the islands to the north, while protecting civilization from disastrous events, such a location could be impractical. All lines from the plant would have to cross through a single area, posing a danger should they somehow be cut, either deliberately or otherwise. If the plant is to supply as much of Europe as you plan, such a weak point could have grave consequences across the continent. In the Italian Alps, however, the lines can run outward in all directions, quite literally like a web. Running these alongside Téjo's own lines, which are well maintained and, where needed, guarded, they can easily be fixed in a short time, where as the critical fix required to bring the plant back to full operation would take time and specialized men and equipment, being underwater." "Though Téjo only has lines in Europe, there are many that run through the Roman Empire's eastern European provinces. It would not be too difficult to extend these into the Middle East if there was ever a reason to." |

OOC- Yeah I'm retconning everyone being aware of the other bids, for the sake of flow. And I'm loving this RP guys. IC- Things are getting interesting, Frietz thought, There were compelling offers all throughout.... "As neither Porcu nor Venice has much clout thus far in Eastern Europe and the Balkans, but Russia doesn't seem to have nearly as much clout in Western Europe, ZEMEI might think to split the deal between two partners, Russia and either Porcu or Venice. Of course, this is in terms of networking. The location is up in the air, and the Venetian delegate brought up a good point with regards to the single line." |

OOC- If people are still interested, say something. In the mean time.... IC- ZEMEI will split the contract between Russia and Venice. |

OOC: I'm still interested, but there's not much I can say. I was the last one to speak. |
