The Rafale, a Great New French invention, is a twin-engined delta-wing highly agile multi-role fighter aircraft designed and built by the Great New French government. The Rafale is being produced both for land-based use with the Great New French Air Force and for carrier-based naval operations with the Great New French Navy. It has also been marketed for export, and while there are no foreign sales yet, the Great New French government has expressed its deep belief that it could be exported primarily to JAUST allies: Eleytheria-Duo, the Assassination Army, Kasnyia, NAN and so on. Bilateral defense deals between Great New France and another party can also result in Rafale fighters being exported to other nations. There will be 3 versions of the Rafale: -Rafale C (Chasseur) Single-seat fighter for the AdA (Armée de l'Air, Great New French Air Force) -Rafale B (Biplace) Two-seat fighter for the AdA -Rafale M (Marine) Single-seat carrier fighter for the Aéronavale When it comes to combat systems, the Rafale carries, maybe for the firs time in Great New French Air Force history, an integrated electronic survival system called ENIGMA which features a software-based virtual stealth technology. The ENGIMA electronic warfare system, jointly developed by Dupont-Lafitte and EADS Great New France, provides the aircraft with the highest survivability assets against airborne and ground threats. The real-time data link allows communication not only with other aircraft, but also with fixed and mobile command and control centres. It will indeed a big a great day for Great New French Air Force history and for JAUST as a whole. 6 Rafale aircrafts have already successfully been produced: many more are in the production line and the Government hopes that future deals would be made with foreign air forces as well. OOC: That thing looks almost like a Dassault Mirage crossbred with a Mikoyan MiG-MFI. |

OOC: Lol, it's still in production in RL... I quite like the design of Migs though too, especially Mig-31 looks cool. ;) |

That's because it's Dassault's next generation fighter. |

OOC: Have you seen the Sukhoi SU-37? It's not really that much of an improvement over the other SU and MiG's but when it comes to weapon loadouts that thing is NUTS ... the thing can carry anywhere from 12 to 24 missiles depending on size and weight of the missiles themselves. IC: Eleytheria is pleased to see that it's neighbor is pursuing aircraft technology, we would like to send four of our best Avionics Engineers to observe the performance of these Fighters. |

OOC: I am personally a fan of the SU-47 myself. If your not sure what an SU-47 is or looks like, you now do. |

Hmm, I see. It's all very technical and confusing to me. And, Kas, thanks once again for answering my question. You always seem to enjoy doing that. |

Join the winning side, take part in the Noble JAUST pact! And the bright side of it all is -- the pact is democratic, you pursue your own countries interests unless the treaties articles take effect instead of serving some other guy who just ... uses you. |

They are part of the Poiters Pact, which I am not sure if it is still in effect or if any of them would actually come to aid Draxis if it were to ever come under attack. But they will mind their business for a while longer. They have some worries they need to clear up or at least place under control before they will go upon the world stage. |
