OOC: Holy Christ, GNF -- I don't have 30 fighters yet alone 100! The only reason why the mods are tolerating the RP I got going with NRE is because the deal was made before the CP changes took place, your a JAUST Member and the fighter is standard to all JAUST Allies -- just assume you have some in production and made or something. Wow ... 100 planes, thats 72 more than I have. |

OOC: Honestly, I've read that CPs stuff and I've still have not understood much to it sorry... The only thing I know is that I've got right now 23.375789 CPs approximately, which is still a bit more than 15. |

Well, depending on how many you spend on fighters, and your population, you will get a certain amount of available fightercraft. Since Eleytheria's was like 20, I assumed you would have less. |

OOC: The CP System is easy, I can send you a PM explaining it in detail if you like. IC: Catherine followed the Veloryan into the embassy and he lead her to a Communications officer; "Yes Madam President? Whom do you wish to contact?" Catherine hesitated for a moment, realizing where she was and who she needed to contact -- but she pulled herself together and asked "Nouville-Paris, get me on the line with Jean-François de la Tablière or one of his defense ministers -- this is priority one" The officer looked up at Catherine and said "The Heretics!?" Catherine locked her eyes with the Officer with a stern face and replied "This is a matter of life and death, war and peace; Put me through ... NOW!" The intelligence officer quickly looked back at the controls, reminded that he was not in Velorya by the bold remark of the Eleytherian President, he punched in a call to New France. Catherine had spotted one of the Veloryans in the back of the building with headphones, slightly glancing in her direction -- she knew this conversation would not be a private one. *Buzzz -- Buzzz* The phone kept ringing, would the Emperor pick up? |

Catherine sighed a relief when she heard the voice of the Emperor on the line; "Emperor, It is I, the President of your Neighbor and Ally, Catherine Nerdinskaya. We have urgent news to deliver -- one of our MiG-29's was hijacked by socialists from Sol Air Force base and is flying straight for Nouville-Paris, our RADAR's detect it will be over New France Air Space within 15 minutes. You must bring it down, you and your people's lives are in danger -- we believe the targets this madman is after is your Palace and JAUST Headquarters, Good luck and God speed my friend." |

Upon hearing the amazing and dangerously alarming news from his good and pretty looking friend Catherine Nerdinskaya, the Emperor finally gave this response: "OK, Catherine, you can count on us: I'll alert my special Air Command Centre and order to them to bring that plane down at once. I'll order anti-Aircraft cannons to be at the ready and a battalion of 8 Mirage-2000 fighters will hunt down the bloody socialists... May God help us, Catherine, thanks again for your call..." Then, the Emperor hung up and made a special announcement on the radios and TVs of the Empire of Great New France "My dear compatriots, a terrible drama has unfortunately unfolded in our eyes this evening: a MIG-29 fighter jet coming from Eleytheria-Duo, our proud and eternal ally from JAUST, has been hijacked by a group of Socialist terrorist groups and has already violated our air space. I urge you, my fellow compatriots, to keep your calm: I have already ordered a battalion of 8 Mirage-2000 fighters to hunt down those criminals before it's too late. Anti-aircraft cannons are also at the ready and, you can be assured that our Nation is prepared to face this test and will face it honourably and with success. Good evening to you all, Emperor Jean-François de la Tablière" |

OOC: GNF, uhm your Emperor 'read' my President's lips while over the telephone? Didn't you mean 'hearing' ? IC: The Hijacked MiG-29 flew over the bay that separated Great New France from the Eleytherian Republic, the shores of New France were straight ahead of the aircraft. He had picked up Aircraft on his radar, he figured the French would find out and retaliate, but he would fight them -- he knew that the Fulcrum had a faster climb rate, was slightly faster, and could compete with the agility of the Mirage, the problem was -- there was 8 blips on radar. It was time for battle... |

OOC: Lol true, typo... ;) IC: The battalion of the 8 Mirage-2000, freshly built close to an air base not far from Nouvelle-Paris was in full action and flew to the hijacked plane. Their speed was most remarkable, going up to phenomenal numbers such as 17 070 m/min or 1780 km/h. Central Radar Command in Albertine, a small town 28 km to the South-West of Nouvelle-Paris finally saw the hijacked plane: it was going towards Nouvelle-Paris and was approaching through the Hudson Bay. Information was given by Central Radar Command Chief Général Thomas Leboeuf: "Fellas! the plane's arriving in less than 5 minutes, going into Nouvelle-Paris!! My orders are clear, this plane must be shut, I repeat this plane must be SHUT!!! OVER!" The battalion finally approached to hijacked plane and was now escorting it, but still it didn't know where the plane was heading... Tense moments, but finally the 6th fighter of the battalion (whose pilot was a handsome and extremely experienced pilot of the name of Matthieu Laffite) pushed his red button and delivered 2 Matra R550 Magic II missiles. The hijacked plane had been successfully annihilated over the Hudson Bay: debris fell into the Bay and a team of forensic examiners and police officials as well as army were going to the area by boat to examine the remaining debris. Catherine was in the nearby command bunker watching the fighter move over New France Airspace, 8 contacts that had been recently detected were seen moving in formation towards the lone MiG. After about 25 minutes, the MiG dropped off screen... Catherine was rather stunned, standing in silence for a moment after seeing the fighter just disappear without any sharp turns or even much of an attempt to flee the French Fighters. She looked over at Yanon and said "These Socialists really need to learn how to fly planes if they are going to hijack them ... There goes our multi million Phi aircraft, and they didn't even put it to any use -- pity they are such bastards." Yanon laughed at the sarcastic comment and patted Catherine on the back as she left the bunker. |

As of today, the FS-1IEV (International Export Variant) type of the aircraft has been announced. The plans are available for purchase by Nations with a clean reputation and who stand up to the ideology of peace. The aircraft features better tracking systems but lacks the rear radar cone and cannot lock onto targets coming from behind the aircraft, it can also be outfitted with several scientific components to allow weather and temperature research. Little of the fighters maneuverability is compromised, and it still remains very agile and fast, though the Eleytherian manufacturing company, Eagle Advanced Avionics Industries, (EAAI) has warned that the engine problem still exists and caution should be taken when approaching speeds around 1977 Miles per Hour. Eleytheria expects some nations to step forward with a request to purchase, however they have also have said, "Do not expect this to be a hot item." |

Kasnyia gives a friendly warning to Eleytheria that the world is currently in an arms race. Selling off this fighter would not do well to JAUST's position. |

Al Araam would be willing to buy a few FS-1IEVs. We are eager to test these amazing feats of Elytherian engineering and feel that such a sale would be an excellent demonstration of mutual trust that couldn't help but improve relations between our nations. |

"If Al-Araam truly wishes to purchase the FS-1 IEV Model Fighter, we would like to ask you a few simple questions. 1) What is your intended purpose for purchasing these Aircraft? 2) Will they be used for analysis and construction of a new Aircraft? 3) Will you further sell these Aircraft to other nations? 4) Do you intend to use them for civilian scientific studies? 5) Are you willing to wait the 120 Day waiting period for their delivery? If you answer all these questions, then you may place your order as to how many FS-1's our factories will produce before delivering them, if the order is approved by the JAUST Council, production will begin immediately. The cost of a single aircraft is 137 Million USD, shipping the cargo will cost 10% of the total purchase price. |

Secure Communication: "The Collective of Unidan would like to buy some of these FS-1IEVs in order to give the few airbases that we have some protection from potential threats. And hopefully with this being our first economic transaction, I hope that we can establish further relations upon completion between our nations for the benefit of our people." Closed. |

IC: Al Araam would like to purchase three FS-1 IEVs. 1) What is your intended purpose for purchasing these Aircraft? Our government will put the fighters we purchase through an exhaustive battery of tests to determine whether they would be a significant and cost effective to our aging American made air superiority fighters. Since the F-15s we currently use cost about $43 million per unit, the FS-1s need to be slightly more than three times as effective to be cost effective. 2) Will they be used for analysis and construction of a new Aircraft? They may be used to test new and current aircraft and train new fighter pilots by participating in simulated dogfights against them. We have no plans to use the FS-1 for the construction of new aircraft at this point in time. We are looking to buy a substantial amount of aircraft to replace those we already have. 3) Will you further sell these Aircraft to other nations? If we find the FS-1s to be unsatisfactory, we will either sell them back to Elytheria Duo or, with the Elythirian Government's permission, sell them to another nation. 4) Do you intend to use them for civilian scientific studies? They may be used for civilian scientific studies in the future, but at this point we wish to acquire the FS-1 simply to determine whether or not it would be a cost effective substitute for the F-15s that are currently in use. 5) Are you willing to wait the 120 Day waiting period for their delivery? My government is willing to wait as long as necessary for their delivery. |

Secure Transmission To: Unidan From: Eleytheria-Duo As we have had virtually no contact with Unidan and know little of their motives, we would prefer not to sell any weapons or arms to their nation. Forgive us for our caution, but we will not arms deal with a nation we have no official relations with. Perhaps we should establish official ties before shipping military hardware to one another's countries. |
