For those who are interested in this, feel free to read what I've written and post comments as needed. Sadly, progress has been going slowly but it should pick up now that deer season is over and I have the weekends to work on this stuff. As always, I love to read comments and critics. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Forward By Craig M. Butler First and foremost, a special thanks to those who helped me create this wonderful story and the characters within. I couldn’t have done it without your support. Your creations helped me continue with my own and kept me on my toes. I look forward to the years to come, future stories, and as always the laughs we share together as a community and friends. And a very special thanks to the NationStates community. Catholic Europe, Norightsia, Quaon, Kasnyia, Paradise, NeoRomanEmpire, and many others. You were all there to help encourage my projects and push me to be the best writer I could be. Without you, this story would not exist and it as much yours as it is mine. I hope to return the favor someday and help you all to be as inspired as I am by the creations we make. I’m also equally thankful to the support of the Gaia Online community and the friends I have made there. Cyka, Carrots, Hoshi, Rono, Ace, and the legion of followers who supported me in the times when I felt I could not write. Your cheerful encouragement and kind words have made me the person I am today. I owe you so much, and more. I will never forget you. I write this story for the many of you to enjoy, and the fan girls who torment me to no end. “You’ll never catch me!” The world has changed from what we know it. The world governments have collapsed, and the people are forced to fend for themselves. Leaders arise across the globe and begin to bring peace and prosperity once again. However, as always there is strife and evil spreading in the far corners of the world. Weapons of mass destruction, wars, and civil discontent spread, for where there is good there must be an opposite. This story is meant to show how one man went from a simple life, to that of an Emperor and leader of one of the greatest nations in Asia. You will experience his innermost thoughts, his desires, and live his life through his eyes as he journeys into the unknown new world before him. Jodo, the future Emperor, will have to make decisions that will make or break this terrifying new world. He will have to forge allies, and defend his people, friends, and loved ones from the spreading darkness that threatens to destroy everything his nation stands for. If he can inspire his people to greatness, they will be a force to be feared. A shining light in the vast dark. It is an impossibly huge undertaking, one that even he doubts he can create for his kind. ---------------------------------------------------- Now, I know that was short. I'm doing a prolog as well that will get the book started. This is intended to be a sort of Thank You Letter to everyone before you get into the book. Is this too much? Overboard? Too little? How can I spice it up? Comments loved.

Parts of it dont seem to flow very well, and I'm sure I'll edit it a bunch of times until i'm content. But, thanks. I'm highly critical of the work I do. Its good to hear that someone approves. ^_^

Nesbit is my mother's maiden name. Go with Menhad for a nation.

And since Chirondom is the main nation you interacted with, you might want to change Quaon to Chirondom, but I don't care either way.
