The purchase of Alaska made from former Governor Roose Bolton had been a great stroke of luck for Goreprime Enterprises and the United States of America. Once again, Alaska was part of the Union. Although it required payment through the Panema Canal, such a price was worth the strategical position of Alaska presented. The US Navy could now once again patrol both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

Dr. Francis Cornelius stood now inside the HAARP Operations Building as maintenance scrambled about the entire HAARP facility, cleaning up what had been left to collect dust and grime and making small repairs to what had decayed. This device, the HAARP Array, had been his little baby during the many years of its development. Although his name was not on any of the official paperwork, he had paid for and designed most of it. The military advantages it proposed were too great. He was glad the Sakhans had never discovered the full potential of its uses.

That would have been disastrous....

Nevertheless, he had been surprised that HAARP appeared to have been completely ignored by the Sakhan government. Coould it have been that the barbarians led by the so-called "God-King" were so primitive, they didn't even understand or comprehend how to turn it on? Francis mused at this theory, and grinned. That would have been just like them... finding this array and just scratching their collective heads in puzzlement.

In several weeks, after all the repairs had been made, Goreprime Enterprises would turn back on one of the greatest projects it had ever secretly funded.

After all these years. At last.

By purchasing land from a nuclear terrorist, the US has proven itself to be a rogue state. We no longer recongize them.

The insinuation that the United States is homosexual is an unreasonable and outright ridiculous insult.

The repairs and cleanup had been finished. It was now time for a test run of the old project. Dr. Francis Cornelius was excited. He hadn't been present during an operational test of HAARP for so long. His brow perspired as he rubbed his hands together in glee. He stood now in the control room, watching the collection of computer monitors run their analytic algorythms.

"Put us online with the HF Transmitter Control," he ordered. "It's time to turn it on." Immediately the two rooms were connected by telephone communication. "Initiate the system. Begin transmission on my word."

The screens began going through commands turning on each section of the HAARP array to full functions. Once the system was online a full one-hundred percent, the doctor gave his order and the transmission began. High frequencies blasted their way up from the array and into the upper ionosphere, burning a hole into it and manipulating it in other subtle ways.

Around the state of Alaska, bizarre and horrible noises filled several radio bands, causing several shortwave and HAM operators grimace in disgust at the noise blazing from their equipment on several channels. HAARP was fully active again, and with a vengeance. They transmitted the high frequencies for several hours, torturing the ionosphere to react to ways satisfying their whims.

Eventually the array was turned off and depowered while champagne passed through the control rooms and shelters. The test run was a complete success. HAARP was back and here to stay.

We look at this event very carefully and will continue to watch extremely closely. We believe that in the light of the dark and opaque implications the Goreprime Enterprises has plunged into, it would be in its best interest not to commit further scandal with such a move. We hope the Goreprimean officials will revert this decision, as it is in their best interest to do so.
