But he syas kick them out. They're not there. And Morogoro is on the road from Dar Es Salaam to Dodoma. There should be fighting there. |

Finally, after all they had worked for with the last couple days that seemed like an eternity behind them, the Scythirian onslaught had finally captured the beach. Here they began setting up a base camp from which they could operate against the Harumfian Royal Capital, Dar es Salaam. Their camp was combined with the camp belonging to North Florida and security was posted with strict guidelines. Certain rights and accesses were allocated only to particular ranks within the Scythirian military. Meanwhile, the advance further into New Harumf was already underway. While armor divisions watched the western inland part of the Beach of 3,000 Corpses, Scythirus began its dismantling of Dar es Salaam's infrastructure. Naval bombardment shelled the city with missiles, targeting important military positions that were reported to the boats by surveying jet fighters. When enough damage had been done, the next stage came quickly. Armor led the way as it rolled into the streets of Dar es Salaam as it crushed any punitive defense it could find. Infantry followed hot on its heels, the infamous Death Shock being placed in the front lines. The invasion was running successfully. |

On the Eastern Front: Dar el Salaam fell quickly to the advancing heathens; too many New Harumfian troops were out of position when the breakthrough occurred, and had to retreat west of the city. There, a formitable line was drawn, 500 armor units, 1.6 million regular troops, and all of the special forces called in to defend the beach and city. A move inland from the coastal city would not be easy, especially since the Navies have not been defeated, and continued to blast away at Scythiran supplies as they tried to land on the beach-head. Also, what the invading forces were finding in Dar el Salaam was a bit of a surprise left behind by the NH special forces - booby traps everywhere. The monster troops of Scythirus, having no respect for the Geneva Convention, was using civilians and captured soldiers as mine and booby trap finders, letting them get shred to pieces as each trap was found. The governmental buildings were empty, however, as the government had fled inland toward Lake Victoria. On the Western Front: The Flumes troops that were not lieing dead in the swamps were in full retreat with the NH forces chasing them. Most of the Flumsian Armor and heavy equipment were bogged in the swamps, and were quickly taken by NH infantry, and blown up. Losses were heavy for Flumes, and the NH air force also had taken superiority of the sky. Things were not going as well for the fight against the Zolon invaders. No ground has been gained or lost, but losses have been heavy on both sides. However, now that Flumes is in retreat, several divisions of armor and infantry were moving south in a bold move to flank the Zolon's left side. In addition, heavy marine armor was moving south, in an attempt to attack the Zolon rear and disrupt supplies. The air force did what it could to mask this move, and was pounding the Zolons with heavy bombing, night and day, including phosphorous bombs. The Zolons had dug in deep, and had retreated just ever so much into the high country and out of the open valleys to make their ouster difficult. If only they could be routed, so more fire power could be given to the battle in the east. In Dodoma Lord protector Walter trusted his generals in the field, however he was growing very concerned about the advances past Dar el Salaam. He quickly sent a message, encrypted, to the Holy Father: From Lord Protector Walter of New Harumf To, The Holy Father in Genesis City My lord. As I am sure we are aware, we are under assult from Scythirus and the so-called African Confederacy for the actions of my Grandfather in a war, long, long ago. This has been an unprovoked attack on us, and hundreds of thousands of true believers are dieing for no other crime than being a good Genesisian Catholic. I ask for your blessing in this, our darkest hour, so that we may find the strength to push these heathens out of our land. I would also ask that if you think it good and right, you request help from other Holy League nations, so they may come to our aide. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Walter, Lord Protector of New Harumf |

The Veloryans had finally arrived at full strength. Suddenly, and without warning, they abandoned Kilwa Kivinje and marched northwards. The objective was to rendezvous with the Medeans guarding Mahenge and launch a diversionary attack on Dar Es Salaam from the South, giving the defenders of Morogoro and Dodoma more time to entrench and ready their defenses... |

To: Lord Protector Walter of New Harumf From: Pope Fernando II Loyal son of the Church, Of course we offer you our blessing during this time of martyrdom for our beloved New Harumf. This terrible act of agression reveals that the Scythirians have not changed. This Hirak-al Voramix is of one mind with his accursed father, Krildahd, who inflicted such grevious atrocity upon Rome and Genesis, and whose hatred for the Church of God remains unending. We have called upon the nations of the Holy League, to join you in this righteous struggle, and we are saying Masses for New Harumf every day, so truely you must know how close this matter is to our heart. We will reiterate our call for aid to New Harumf, and send our soldiers to you as soon as we are able. In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Pope Fernando II ***** "Once more, we call upon the nations of the Holy League to muster forth to the defense of the Most Catholic Kingdom of New Harumf, which is unjustly under attack by the infidels who make perpetual war upon the Catholic Church. "Of all the wars facing the Holy League, this is the most important, for this is a defensive war fought against monsterous heathen invaders who have long sought the destruction of the Church. Just as in the Crusades to the Holy Land, all who die in this war, in the defense of New Harumf, are martyrs for Christ, and will truely dwell in the Kingdom of God. "With utmost haste, we call upon the Catholic nations of the world to send aid to your Catholic brothers in New Harumf, who are dying as we speak, and grant them aid in the defense of the homeland against the wicked invaders." OOC: How should the Pope send his fleet to New Harumf? The Canal is bordered by Wadj and Romania, both of which are currently hostile to the Pope. Furthermore, the Red Sea itself is dangerously close to Paradise, who is not likely to view their presence in a friendly matter. So does the Papacy need to sail its ships through Gibralter and around Africa? Or is there a more effective route? |

As soon as our forces have finished the conquest of Sakha, we will send an army to help hold New Harumf, led by King James Sanctus of St. Katherine and Larrimah. Furthermore, I will be returning to the crusades. -Emperor Arthur the Great (OOC: Yes, I've decided that my population is starting to call him the great now! Deal with it! Though he himself isn't actually referring to himself as such, that's just for posterity's sake!) |

Unlikely, since there's actual fighting now! The officers in such area are loyal to Michael, not Josiah, since he's essentially the military puppet. And even if I could work out such a deal, there would still be Wadj, who is a Scythirian ally at this point, if I understand things properly. Q: "the Great" in his lifetime? That's just tacky. |

OOC: The point of the query was to find the best way to get Catholic European forces to New Harumf without encountering combat on the way. Nobody wants to get encumbered with another foe while transporting their forces, and furthermore, any use of the Red Sea would be potentially dangerous, unless we can acquire some sort of guarantee of safe passage from Paradise. |

Paradise might hate Catholic Europe, but unless the Pope was aboard, it wouldn't risk invasion from every Catholic nation in the w- I've got an idea. Paradise attacks. The final front to the World War begins. |

OOC: Perhaps the New Medean fleet could engage the Zolon fleet, so as to allow the Papal fleet to transport its men to New Harumf? With the Neo Macedonian and South African fleets also in the region, this should be feasable. Nevertheless, lets continue this discussion in the OOC planning thread for this war, so as not to distract too much from the IC posts. |

OOC: Easiest way might be to airlift your troops into Dodoma, or parachute into any other location. Other way is through Gabralter, around Tierra del Fuego, and across the Pacific, thus avoiding South Africa and Zolony, but that's a loooong voyage!! |

By now, Dodoma had almost been entirely transformed by the Kasnyian military engineers. What was once a beautiful city was now a deathtrap for those who dared enter Dodma. The city had been almost entirely re-engineered into the prfect urban combat defense organ. And with allied troops diverting the invasion ofrces, the Kasnyians were given more time to perfect and polish off their work, creating dozens of contingency plans, pssoible offensives, and multiple escape routes in case the city fell. The Kasnyian colonial forces inside the city, partnered with the most veteren units of the Harmufian army, were ready. OOC- Yeah, Dodoma ain't goin' down without a fight dearies.... |

CLEVELAND ROCKS!

Flumes War against New Harumf on the Western Front was chaos. Communications were poor and Flumes troops were retreating into their own fire. Commanders tried frantically to establish communications but with little success. Their were a few success stories, but while individual battles may have been won, they were losing the Western Front. Finally as most of Flumes troops had retreated to the 2nd line a break came, what might have seemed a trivial Central African rainfall gave Flumesian Troops the time to dig in. Now they would sit and wait for orders on what to do. The Western Front was quickly becoming a trench warfare type battle. Many lives had been lost though, and an New Harumf army that had once moderatly outnumbered Flumes now had a great size advatage. Only Flumes Finest could save them now... |
